This was our monthly book club restaurant pick. The ambiance was very typical for this chain restaurant. The lighting was rather dim and there were both booths and tables. It was pleasant in a basic way- nothing amazing but nothing horrible. We were seated at a table to accommodate 12 people. Our server was Ray. At the beginning, he was on top of our drink and entree orders. Throughout, he did a good job of keeping our orders straight. Toward the end of our meal, it seemed that he was busy with other tables and it took a while to get our checks and check us out. However, he still kept our credit cards straight in returning them to the correct person. For the the food... One half of our table didn't have a great experience but the other half enjoyed their meals. Those who ordered the Tuscan grilled chicken were happy and took leftovers home. Unfortunately I was on the half that had a disappointing experience. My friend across from me had lobster ravioli. She said the entree wasn't warm and the sauce was very thin and watery. The friend next to me ordered stuffed mushrooms but was subsequently told the restaurant was out of mushrooms... Really?! She then selected a salad with shrimp and a side of broccoli. She found her entire meal inedible- shrimp on the salad weren't totally cooked and she found the broccoli cold- as if frozen and not totally defrosted. Another friend had a shrimp caesar salad and I had a chicken caesar salad. My friend didn't care for her salad because it was overly salty. I didn't enjoy mine either. The chicken was overcooked and difficult to cut. Plus, I agreed with my friend about the saltiness of the salad, both the salad/chicken and the caesar dressing. I ate what I could and didn't take home leftovers. I personally have no desire to ever return to this restaurant and can't recommend it. The prices were very expensive and lacked quality. In fairness, the 3 star rating reflects the half of the table that enjoyed the Tuscan grilled chicken. read more

I went there on a Saturday night and they were completely dead... now I know why. I ordered the Lasagna despite my concerns from another review here and I should have listened. The portion was quite small for a $20 slice and it came out lukewarm even though there was barely anyone else in the restaurant. Not to mention the ricotta smelled foul, not like how it's supposed to. Definitely could've gotten it at Olive Garden and they would've done it better. read more

Talk about great service! We stopped in and ordered a dinner for two. Our waitress was so friendly and accommodating. We got our first course just fine. We noticed it took quite a while for the next course but waited patiently. The manager came to our table and apologized for our wait and said he would work and see if he could expedite our meals. He returned and let us know there was a mix up but things would be out. He upgraded my partners steak and also brought us the extra one as well. What awesome service! I was thrilled to see a staff that cared. Our waitress even gave us a drink to go!!! Way to go!!!! We WILL be back. read more

Fantastic dinner tonight . All four of us enjoyed our entrees and our waiter Dominic was professional, polite, very knowledgeable and attentive. Salads were brought in a timely manner and were delicious. From the Lobster Ravioli to the Eggplant Parmesan and Toscana Filet everything was prepared correctly. Pro's: Service from our waiter & the support staff was excellent. Couldn't have been better. Cons: The food was garbage. My lasagna was lasagna noodles from a pot of hot water, dumped on a plate & covered with some type of sauce (no idea what it was other than no taste), a ball of about 1/2 tsp of ground beef on top, all covered with tomato sauce. No where near the menu photo of layered baked lasagna, just wet noodles. My wife had the Fettuccine Carrabba. If it had Alfredo sauce it was watered down with broth or some other liquid. No where near the quality we have enjoyed in the past which was covered with made to order Alfredo. It was served luke warm, sent back & microwaved to heat it up. Very disappointed. One of the best dining experiences I have had in a while. Especially, considering this is a chain. The interior is modern, clean, and well lit. The service was impeccable. There was actually an issue with my meal. The chef accidentally dropped a filet instead of a 7oz sirloin. We noticed it was taking a little longer, but just assumed they were busy. The kitchen manager came out and apologized profusely. He actually ended up giving me the filet and then bringing out the sirloin a short while later. The filet was sooo good and I will definitely order it again. The sirloin was good too. The waitress also got us a couple of giant to go drinks. We still have the tiramisu to enjoy later from the 2 for $45 special they have on the weekend. If you have never been here, or it's been a little while, GO and visit! read more

Went to the Maumee store for lunch with friends. Salads were all good, but the soups were cold. Couldn't even say they were tepid. Sent them back but one of us didn't get it returned until we were leaving. Then I ordered the meatballs and they were cold. Ricotta cheese was straight out of the refrigerator. Sent back this too but by the time I got it all my friends were dine so I got it to go. So a very bad lunch. Waitress was nice but new and over whelmed with too many customers. read more

The menu offers a wide variety of some of the most pleasurable delicious meals. On Labor Day, 4 of my business partners wanted to go out and get a bite to eat after our meeting and I said let's go . It is always such a good feeling when you have five people sitting at the table and everyone of them are expressing how delicious their food is. A gentleman named Luke was our waiter and his personal people skills were great. A manager named John stopped by asked how everything was and displayed the most professional welcome. Had stopped eating here because they have removed our favorite dishes from the menu. Gave it another try this evening as I had noticed new items on the menu. I had to ask for the miniature charcuterie plate that comes with your first glass of wine. These are awesome, by the way. My husband ordered the lemon pesto branzino. He was served grilled branzino. No lemon, no pesto, no sun dried tomatoes. My pasta dish was mediocre at best. Salads were perfect, as usual. Not returning unless they bring back the veal picatta and Mahi Wulfe. read more

Ordered for the whole family through a delivery service. They restaurant did not pack up the whole order. Not the delivery drivers fault. The restaurant did not want to send the order. They wanted to refund. We wanted the food delivered. Finally talked them into refunding the amount and sending reorder with the amount of the tip for the delivery driver. Once we received the new order The pasta was dry. There was less than a teaspoon of watery remanence of the sauce in the corner of the dish, the pasta was so dry and clumped together... read more

Alright so my boyfriend and I only came here because his parents had a gift card...if I knew the service was going to be the worst I had ever experienced I would've thrown the gift card away. We sat at the bar because it was decently busy, but the bar wasn't. We thought that was a good choice. Spoiler alert...we were wrong. The bartender ignored us the whole time. We waited probably an hour and a half for our food. And the bartender kept checking on us being like..."oh you guys don't have your food yet." Like no we don't it's been an hour...we eventually got our food, and it was so bad. We both got some vodka pasta thing. My boyfriends was okay, but mine was EXTREMELY watery. Makes no sense because we both got the same thing. I don't know why one was mediocre and one was awful. We both didn't eat it, paid and left. I will NOT be going back to Carrabba's after this. And crazy they let kids sit at the bar, they were yelling the entire time at the bar. Usually you have to be 21 to sit at the bar...at most places, apparently at carrabbas you can do whatever you want. read more

Well, thank goodness the food was good. Without that this would be a one star. The service was atrocious. Seven of us. Two salad orders were screwed up and one soup order. Entrees came out at three different times with the last (mine) showing up after three times of trying to get it right. By the time I got my meal the others were finished with theirs. I even ordered the special, veal parm, and first try I got chicken Marsala, then veal Marsala. Finally got right meat but the pasta was wrong. At that point I didn't have it in me to complain. Waitress was UNAPOLOGETIC, and they left it all up the the young kid who was simply delivering the food. No manager no offer to reduce price on my entree. We finished eating and instead of asking who wanted dessert she asked how we were paying. Crazy evening. Years since I've been there. No reason for me to ever go back. read more

I would've rated higher, because I really like this place. But I got the best and worst from there within the last 24 hours due to inconsistency. The evening before , my take out was very, very good. Delicious grilled pork chops and grilled chicken. But what stood out the most was my side of fettuccine. Even as take out, it was creamy and bursting with fresh Parmesan in every bite. I liked it so much, I had to have more for lunch the next day. This time, It looked and tasted like pre-done, stashed away bland pasta with almost no sauce or much Parmesan taste. Very disappointed. I get that my order was larger the day before, but the product should be consistent. And you're charging enough to do it right. read more

We went on a rare snow day in Myrtle Beach and were very grateful they were open. Our server was great and we both enjoyed our entrees. They have a deal right now where you can get a $10 entree "to go," as long as it is the same price or less as the one you ordered so we got an entree for later! read more

Carrabba's is one of our go-to restaurants because the quality of the food is always top notch. We like that they change some entrees seasonally but continue to keep their bestsellers. It was a welcome surprise to hear they offer a special when you buy an entree you can get an equal or lesser value entree for $10 to take home. We did that and had our dinner for the next day, also. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this location. Ambiance was perfect ... not too bright, not too dim. Almost every table was full, but we were seated immediately and got quick and efficient service. Happy hour draft beer specials! Appetizer (we got stuffed mushrooms) very reasonably priced and delicious. Entrees (lasagne and seafood pasta), which included either soup or salad, were excellent and, again, reasonably priced. Not sure what it is about Italian food in Toledo, but it appears to be quite difficult to pull off... Went there last Saturday night and they were extremely busy. Thankfully we had a reservation and got our table within 10 minutes of the reservation time - NICE! The waitress came around for drink orders pretty quickly and took an appetizer order. The apps came in 10 minutes or so (calamari) and it was good. A little overcooked and VERY small portions. The bread and herbed oil was a nice touch too. If the rest of the apps are anything like the calamari, skip it. Not worth it. The drinks took some time to get to the table. I realized this place has a really weird way of doing drinks and refills... The drinks were delivered by a "drink server" and I found that to be a bit odd. He didn't bus tables, deliver meals or anything else, just drinks. I guess that's not a bad thing, but he couldn't ascertain if drinks were needed on his own. The waitress had to pull out her tablet and create an order for refills before he could bring them. I guess it helps with them keeping track of food costs, but if the guy walks by and sees you need a refill, he can't just bring it. We're talking soft drinks... Anyway, the waitress appeared to be the only one that could initiate the transaction, so if she was busy with other tables, you're S.O.L. I guess a suggestion would be giving the drink guy a tablet so he can take care of this too??? I think the customers would applaud this practice. Everyone at the table with a soft drink had a dry glass at some point. That just shouldn't happen. So, after a little bit, the salads came. They were nice. The greens were fresh, and the dressing was fine. Then the entrees... I ordered a pasta with alfredo, mushrooms and shrimp (I think they called it Weezie???). If you've ever made your own alfredo or have had real, good alfredo, don't get this. Tasted like jarred Prego or Ragu. And they must be really proud of it because I think there were equal portions of pasta to sauce. The shrimp were well cooked (probably boiled, but not overcooked). The mushrooms were awful. They tasted sour. Not sure how they achieved that, but the mushrooms were just terrible. The servers came around to deliver the entrees and one of them had the cheese grater. Unfortunately, she (cheese grater gal) never came to me and when I tried to flag her down, I was not successful. After tasting the entree, I'm not sure it would have helped, but it couldn't have hurt. So, I'm pretty sure the dishes here are not cooked to order but assembled from large containers of different sauces and various accoutrements. I worked on the line at Chi-Chi's years ago and that's how we did it (anyone remember the Chi-Chi's at Talmage and Sylvania???). most everything was precooked and then we assembled it on the line. You can crank out amazing amounts of food using this technique. Unfortunately, the quality can suffer because everything was made the day before or at best, that morning. I get the tomato gravy, Bolognese, ragu style sauces have to be made in advance, but alfredo, piccata, marsala, etc should be made to order. So, I'll probably return if it's someone else's idea, but I can't say I'll go there under my own volition. Prices aren't terrible for a sit down, tablecloth kind of place, and this is on par with any other chain restaurant - Outback, Olive Garden, TGIF, Applebee's, etc. The place is amazingly popular for what it is, but better choices are everywhere. read more

Called them only to be put on hold for 30+ minutes, hung up and called back only to be passed around to 3 different people re explaining the situation and then to be told there is no ticket in the back with our name on it but we are already out $70. Husband picked Carrabba's because he likes the bread and oil for dipping. They weren't very busy at all. We were sat and it wasn't long before the server came over. We ordered mozzarella marinara to start. It is your typical breaded mozzarella cheese. Their marinara is pretty chunky. Husband got Pollo Rosa Maria. Wood-grilled chicken stuffed with fontina cheese and prosciutto, topped basil lemon butter sauce. With a side of fettuccine. He has had this lots of times and it was what he expected. I got Salmon Saporito. Wood-grilled salmon with signature seasoning and topped with jumbo lump crab meat, lemon butter, diced tomatoes, spinach and basil. Well...I got salmon, lemon butter, diced tomatoes and spinach and basil. What I did not get was lump crab meat. On top of my salmon ( in my opinion ) was flakes of Mahi Mahi that had been sautéed with the lemon butter sauce. It was not crab. Mahi is a white fish as is typical lump crab. The texture was not crab and the flavor was not crab. We got the servers attention and I asked her about the lump crab meat. I said it wasn't crab. She really had no idea what to do. She asked if I'd like the manager to come over and I said yes. A few minutes later the server came back holding a large unopened can of crab meat. The manager had her get it out of the walk in and show it to me. I looked at the ingredient list and it was crab IN THE CAN! At no time did the manager come to the table. It tasted fine it just wasn't crab. The basic salmon was 3$ less than the salmon with crab. But there was no offer to deduct and off the price. The manager had no idea what was on my plate because he didn't look. Canned crab is shelf stable so I'm not sure why the can she brought out was cold from the walk in. The lack of concern from the manager speaks volumes for how much he cares about customer service. If in all honesty it was crab. It was the cheapest possible. read more

The hostess greeted us & we chose a table in the dining area side instead of bar seating. Our waitress explained that a lot of things are made from scratch and on site, which is surprising being that this is a chain restaurant. I am a Caesar salad fan & enjoyed the tangy dressing & the crunchy croutons. I had a delicious dinner of wood-grilled steak & fries: yum. I was surprised to see that the chicken and the steak are about the same price there. ( I think this is due to the current supply chain issues.) The fettuccini Alfredo is creamy, decadent and wonderful. Highly recommend getting that as one of your two side options. The cheesecake was so huge that we could split with between the 3 of us. The nice thing about chains is consistent quality & I liked the quality. Our waitress, Maureen, was extremely attentive. The restaurant is clean & the there's an open kitchen. read more

We were in search of another Yelp! eatery and when we arrived, it was take-out only and we wanted to dine in. Searched in the same area and found Carrabba's Italian Grill. Google maps made it quite interesting to get to this location and when we arrived the parking lot was quite full so I thought we would have to wait quite a while. Surprisingly, we were seated in less than 10 minutes on a Friday night - score! We started off with the zucchini fritte - very tasty. The zucchini was cut into something similar to shoestring fries, were very lightly breaded and served with a nice garlic aioli.. Dinner choices were lobster ravioli and the mahi wulfe. The mahi was lightly breaded, wood-grilled and topped with artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes and basil lemon butter sauce. Oh so good! Oh, please do not forget about the warmed bread with the olive oil for dipping - yum! Because this was our first visit, we were offered a complimentary dessert. We chose the tiramisu and had it boxed up to go as we were stuffed. Had the sweet treat after getting home. A little on the noisy side. Service was good and the food was even better. We will definitely give Carrabba's consideration when we want Italian food. read more

Atmosphere was the best part of experience. Ravioli had a microwaved feel, filet was sour and texture was that of a Salisbury steak, and it took about 20 minutes to get our check. We declined when a manager asked if we wanted our food comped because we were wanting to get out quickly but it took about the same amount of time for our server to get back to us with a full price bill. read more

I really enjoyed the food and my steak and my dinner partner were both cooked perfectly, exactly as we asked. We were told as soon as we ordered the steak that they do not have A1 steak sauce and I was disappointed however after 1 bite I can tell you that this was the only steak I have ever had from a restaurant that was good enough to NOT need anything on it! Our waiter was attentive without being bothersome and when they were out of something I ordered he went to check and immediately came back and told me they were out of my first choice but if I wanted a different one there would be no charge. I have a new favorite Italian /steak restaurant! Prices are a bit high but if the staff is well paid I'm fine with it. They deserve a good hourly rate as well as what they may or may not get for tips. read more

Manager apologized for the undercooked meat and seemed genuinely bothered that it was so far under. - barely seared.
