I love the Longhorn Crispy chicken sandwich. Great taste at a decent price. First time eating at Palm Coast Longhorn. It was pretty busy night with a 20 min wait. Our waiter was nice but after taking our order he wasn't as attentive after the food arrived. No refills, never asked if we wanted the bill or dessert. So when he finally came we just paid and left. Other than that lapse in service it was good tasting food and a cheap night as we used a Christmas gift card. I will give them another chance next year. read more

I had visited this location when it first opened, and since then we regularly visit this Longhorn due to the convenience of the location. This night, it was a family celebration that brought us in. I had a less than wonderful experience, but I thought it was important to share. We were sat at 4:00 but didn't get addressed by a server until 4:15 or so, with no apology or explanation. The restaurant wasn't busy so it made no sense. We didn't have the cleanest experience, as there was food and other garbage on the floor around us and in the menus, but there was a worker trying to clean around us, so they may have been short staffed. We ordered drinks and an appetizer, got the drinks right away and the apps in a timely manner. We got the Texas Tunion which was saltier than usual but we didn't send it back as the table wasn't visited again until 4:35. At this point, we hadn't ordered dinner yet and were still working through the appetizer. As the table next to us enjoyed their apps and salads, we patiently waited to order dinner. At 4:38 we finally were able to place the order. By now, we were surrounded by dirty dishes and empty drinks. She brought new drinks, took our order, and let us know she'd be back to clear the table. Well, salads were delivered and the dishes were still there at 5:00, but all was cleared at the same time 5:10. Food was delivered to the table at 5:10 and it was delicious. We paid the check just before 6. Why this review? Remember, our perspectives matter, and our experiences matter, and our interactions with others do still matter. One review can hurt. In all of that madness, our waitress worked her behind off. She barely stopped to BREATHE. Instead of us getting upset, we enjoyed some additional family time together. We talked. We laughed. This place that had been so consistent had a bad day, but it happens. And it's still a 4 to me. read more

We ordered take out for curbside and on the receipt it says WHEN YOUR ORDER IS ALMOST READY WE WILL TEXT YOU AND THEN YOU CAN TELL US WHAT NUMBER YOU'RE PARKED IN. So we do exactly what we are told to do and the text never comes!! So I call the restaurant when it has been 20 mins past (bc we were trying to give a grace period if they were busy) and ask where are order is. I'm told oh it's sitting right here. Well now I'm concerned it's cold so she says I'll have them reheat it. Are you serious I'm not paying to have a steak reheated and overcooked!! So she gets a manager she says I'll have them cook a new one but it will be another 10 mins! So now we are at 40mins past when it was promised or I can take a cold steak. She say you never let us know you were here. So I say do I need to send you a copy of the receipt that says you will text me when it's almost ready? And she doesn't respond to that. So I assume she doesn't like it that she was trying to blame it on me but I offered evidence that I did exactly what I was told to do bc her tone changed after that. So I say I want a new steak but something else needs to be done to the check also. She ignores the part about the check and says I'll go see if they have a steak already ready and I'll get that one then hangs up. So I don't know if she only pretended to change the steak or do anything at all bc the steak was cold and we only love 2 mins away! So we paid full price for a cold steak!! This isn't the first time this has happened and that is why I am writing this to hopefully get something done about it!! I would love to place an order, pick it up when promised and eat a perfectly cooked steak at home! The female manager didn't seem to care about what went wrong and trying to fix the actual problem, nor fix the problem with the customer since they did something wrong! My first-ever visit to this location, I'd attended an event a short distance down the road during the day and wanted to stop for a beverage and appetizer before heading back home in Orlando. I had immediate seating available at the bar and was quickly recognized for assistance with my order. The service was quick, very friendly, and accurate. Update to original review December 23, 2025: While the initial experience at this location was disappointing due to a lack of courtesy, I appreciate the prompt follow-up and professional resolution provided by LongHorn Steakhouse's corporate guest relations. --- Original review December 21, 2025 I have been a regular customer at this LongHorn Steakhouse location and at the LongHorn chain overall. I've always treated the staff with respect and consistently leave very good tips. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my perception of the restaurant. We went out for lunch as a family. I finished my Strawberry Salad, but it filled me up, and I barely touched the rest of my meal. I then requested a to-go container and a plastic bag, packed the remaining food myself, and placed everything inside a closed plastic bag. My daughter also left almost her entire 6oz sirloin with mac & cheese, which was packed and placed in the same bag. Because we were in a hurry, we accidentally left the bag behind. A short while later, once we realized it, I called the restaurant. To my disappointment, the first person I spoke with was dry, dismissive, and showed no interest in helping. I then asked to speak with a manager, which only made the situation worse. The manager questioned whether I had "proof," as if my word and my receipt were not sufficient. I was told that no staff member reported that a guest left anything behind and that "they clean the tables." That explanation is unacceptable. This was a closed plastic bag containing clearly packed food, not loose leftovers on a table. Our server, Chuck, who received a very generous tip, did not make any effort to have the food held, even briefly. Instead, it was simply thrown away. No courtesy. No consideration. No customer care. I was not asking for a refund or special compensation. I simply expected basic decency and common sense, especially from a restaurant where I had been a loyal customer to both this location and the brand. This situation was offensive and deeply disappointing. You did not lose a customer because of a mistake, but because of the attitude and how this situation was handled. I got a burger (medium well) that was supposed to have onion, pickle on it which it didn't. it was so bland but i was starving so i drenched it in ketchup and ate half. i then realized the meat was incredibly pink and bleeding so i just gave up. no manager cared enough to come out and talk to me about it, which is okay. i wasn't expecting anything free or discounted since i ate half but still the gesture would've been nice. Where do I begin! I love Longhorn but not this place in Palm Coast Florida. The first time I went here last year when they first opened it was terrible from the service to the meal. I wrote it off because they had just opened and it was packed so I gave them a pass. Fast forward 10 months. My wife and I went there today and this was far worse than 10 months ago. My wife ordered a hamburger and I ordered a Ribeye steak. I asked them not to season my steak because last time I was here it was why to salty. I also asked them to please cook it medium. My wife's burger comes out the manger said they messed up and forgot to omit the seasoning so he had to cook a new steak. He said 6 minutes it would take. This was the second time visiting Longhorn Steakhouse and it was just as good as the first w. The filet was so tender that it seemed to melt in your mouth. The spicy Chicken Bites were an appetizer but portion was enough for dinner. The service was very good but I find they tend to rush you. The first time we didn't even finish our appetizers and the meal was being delivered. This time we ordered our appetizers and waited until we were almost finished, then put our dinner order in. I don't like being rushed through my dinner and I'm a slow eater. One other important thing is the seasoning on the steaks. They are very heavy with it. I ask for light on the seasoning and it has come out perfect for me. Some people like very salty foods but I don't and the flavor was spot on. The restaurant is typical Steakhouse atmosphere. I'll start this review stating that the food was very good. That wasn't the problem. The service was adequate. I believe the person who was our server was a bit over whelmed. May have been relatively new to the business. That wasn't the problem. The scenery isn't spectacular, more or less expected. That wasn't the problem. The problem is at cash out time I asked about a military discount, at which time I was informed that Longhorn Steakhouse no longer offered a discount to active duty or retired military and their families. This news saddens me. Because it reinforces the fact that more and more people are numb to the fact that it is because of our military, past and present that we enjoy the best nation on the planet. I know this statement is probably falling on deaf ears. that's why I'm not really writing this review for Longhorn Steakhouse but for their customers and potential customers both military and civilian. To start with, I came in with a large party of 8 adults, no children on Sunday To the Longhorns in Palm Coast. Yes, I know it was Father's Day. The wait time was quoted as 1 hour. There were a few large party tables set up. After an hour and 15 min, they pulled apart the large party table for two smaller groups that came in after us. 10 min later, they sat us at a large booth! As we were all hungry, we took it. That booth was probably good for maybe 6 people to sit comfortably. Had to stack appetizer/bread plates just to have room for the meals and drinks, not to mention when we were eating, you had to keep your elbows against your body so you wouldn't bump the person sitting next to you. We live in Bunnell and love the fact that we are barely a hop and a skip to dinner! Absolutely amazing atmosphere! We were seated pretty quickly to a high top in the bar area. We loved getting to order our drinks and food quickly! We ordered a lot of food! The Tonion, Wildin' Shrimp, the Stuffed Mushrooms were all delicious! You can tell they are fried in Beef Tallow, which is a huge win! The Lobster and Shrimp Chowder was steamy hot, which was great to give me time to dip my bread in it to still taste and eat! For dinner we ordered the Longhorn (Porterhouse) cooked to perfection of medium rare, and the most Devine lamb chops I have found in a while! Food and service were good but the ambiance doesn't match the Longhorn in Daytona. The Palm Coast location has a very high ceiling which gives the interior a barn like feeling while Daytona is intimate and cozy. The staff seemed very well trained for a restaurant that's only been open for two or three weeks. Our Outlaw ribeye steaks were both slightly undercooked and a bit chewy but the sides and cocktails were very good. This was my second time there we had Alonna was our server both times, she is awesome, very friendly, professional and informative. This girl makes the place come alive employees like her are what makes the business florist and be successful.
