After a lot of walking we stumbled upon this fabulous pub. The restaurant is down a few steps but we'll decorated, and spacious. It was was a perfect find. I got the chicken sandwich and it was pretty decent but could use more flavor. The this chicken was also a little off. The truffle fries were fabulous and my favorite part! The service was friendly and thoughtful!

My husband and I have done a staycation in the city during NFL playoff season for the last few years and watching a game at carragher's is now one of our yearly traditions! The service here is always top notch and we had the save server from last year. Side note to all the bros- don't be a jerk and tip well. The servers here work very hard especially when there are games and fights on. I got a Caesar salad, wings and my husband got the Reuben. Our food was delicious as usual and huge portions for the price. The place itself could use some TLC but that's part of the charm.

Food was good! Ordered the bangers and mash and the Albert burger - delicious but gravy left something to be desired! Vibes were cozy, but it's definitely loud! Service was fine. They weren't very personable, but they were efficient with getting food out and cleaned up!

The service on this place is atrocious. This place needs some work. I saw our server once to place our order. Never saw him again, a runner brought food and when I went to tell him they gave me the wrong beer he said only your server can fix that. Had to ask 3 people to get my server. 28 mins to get that done.

Lunch at Carragher's? A full-blown feast. Wings were crispy little trophies, the fries were golden perfection, and the chicken pita basically whispered sweet nothings to me. The beer list was longer than a CVS receipt, and all on draft - like, I started planning my next visit halfway through pint one. Service was very attentive. It's down in a basement and the AC was doing the absolute most, but honestly, I'd sit in a freezer if it meant those wings and beers again.

I don't care about sports or Irish stuff. I just got out of a late movie and was looking for a place open. The bouncer was funny and welcoming. He even told me of a place I could go that was open after they closed if I wasn't ready to go home after my meal. The bartender and the server still on duty (there was only one because it was like 11 PM and they closed at 2 AM) were also great. The server gave me the choice of sitting at a table or at the bar and also checked to make sure the kitchen was still open for me. I chose to sit at the bar in hopes of making their life easier. Please keep in mind that this late, the menu is more limited. I ordered the classic beef burger medium. This burger is basic--you can choose your cheese--cheddar, blue, mozzarella (I chose cheddar). Also comes with onions. There was mention of mushrooms and other additions on the menu, but that didn't come on my burger. Probably because of the late hour, and that's ok. Honestly, I was worried I would get the "Waiting" treatment (for elder millennials who have seen the movie)--cold, served with a side of crotch rot and pubes. But I got a super hot, juicy, dripping, fresh burger and some decent waffle fries! I was happily surprised with how good the burger was! The drinks aren't craft, and that's not expected here. I got a couple of the cocktails, but they were pretty meh--this is more of a beer and shot place, and I recognize that. The bartender didn't rush me and was really laid back. As someone who tries to not come into a place less than two hours before closing, I appreciate that. This Irish pub is great for sports fans (lots of final four basketball action on TV). Casual vibe. Their more expanded menu includes things like lamb lollipops, chicken fingers, fried pickles, French onion soup, chicken wraps, steak sammies, multiple types of burger, buffalo Mac n cheese, as well as a few steak/fish/chicken entrees. I wouldn't call this spot a destination, but a nice late night spot in a city that used to be the city that never sleeps, but is now usually in bed by 11 PM.

As a Liverpool and Carragher fan, I had always wanted to visit this place. We went for the Tottenham vs. Liverpool game on a Sunday, just four days before Christmas. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a Christmas theme, creating a fantastic atmosphere. We opted for beers to drink and ordered Eggs Benedict and Carragher's Breakfast for food. Both dishes were excellent, with the classic flavors I love for breakfast. The service was quick, though on match days, you need to order everything at the bar rather than having someone take your order at the table. Would definitely recommend this Irish Pub to enjoy Liverpool games with other fans along with great food and drinks!

Must go to see a game or hang at the bar or have a lunch sometime! Local places like this are disappearing and they are really worth checking out ! Taste of Ireland or something new as they never disappoint!

Great place to watch sports, drink, eat and then shake it the other room. Caesar salad - very good; French onion soup was excellent. Pork sliders/fries also very enjoyable. Bartenders quite attentive.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. We will absolutely return.

We started with the steak tartare with Melba toast and caviar. For entrees we had the creamy cavatelli with maitake and squash. Always a solid choice, though it could have been a bit colder. The bartenders were very nice and attentive, and the place clearly has a strong group of regulars. There was a friendly, familiar energy in the room that made it feel welcoming right away. Once my friend arrived, I tried "The Greatest Espresso Martini" and asked to swap the vodka for bourbon. They were very accommodating, and the drink turned out delicious. Rich, smooth, and good enough that I ordered a second. Unfortunately, our server only heard that 5 of us wanted afternoon tea, and one of the tiers of food was smaller than the others. We also had to pay extra for additional tea, which we were fine with, but service was severely lacking throughout. Our server didn't check up on us, and seemed to want us to leave quickly after dropping off the check. We would have been happy to pay the $65 each for afternoon tea, but it wasn't worth it and frankly, I was agitated by the whole ordeal by the time I left. We were also disappointed by the food items (as they were lacking) and nothing about this was like other experiences we had with other afternoon teas. I can't in good faith recommend this place, nor do I see myself coming back after the atrocious service we experienced.
