I ordered about 3 weeks in advance and Ruthy mentioned that it is better to order in advance since sometimes rush orders can cost extra. She also mentioned that they require full payment for the cake in order to hold the date that we need. We picked up on a Saturday. They are only open from 12-1pm on Saturday's to pick up. There was one add on that we discussed and she forgot to add it but when I mentioned it to her, she said she would add it to the cake immediately even if it would only be completed a little after they closed on 1pm. Overall, the cake was delicious and a huge hit at our party. Everyone thought it looked amazing and tasted equally as amazing! The cake was moist and the filling was great too! However, before I drove over, I use their QR code to order online when I realized that cinnamon buns have to be pre-ordered. But I called, Gentry was very kind to let me know that even though she had a large order of cinnamon buns, she could spare two for me! I dashed over to the shop, the cinnamon buns had come out of the oven and with the icing melting on top. I bought my order of two and went home to enjoy them. The Ultimate Cookie Dough Oreo Cake looked sweet and dense and it needed to be in my belly. Quickly purchased an espresso from Gathering Grounds and the Ultimate Cake from Lovelee for a mere $5.00. Carefully carried my treat to the outside patio tables to hopefully enjoy a few minutes of sugary bliss. My first bite proved that Lee is in fact a culinary genius and has stepped out of the textbook guidelines to create a well deserved masterpiece.
