Regular hours, beautiful jewelry, and caring customer service. Farah & Crystal are some of the most professional jewelry sales persons i have ever met. Incredibly knowledgeable about metals, care, and symbolism. Farah stole the show with her kindness and down to earth aura. Anyways, we bought two rings for our wedding that are absolutely stunning. Farah even polished my silver ring and made it look brand new. I can't stop looking at it. I will be returning in the future to look at gifts and all the other fun odds and ends this cute shop has. I've had my jewelry repaired here before and they did such an excellent job, as it was quickly repaired, and the price was right! I went back again to get my mother's ring repaired, and as soon as I walked in the door, I was acknowledged by a very friendly young lady! She informed me that they no longer repair jewelry. However, she gave me some names of some places she would refer me to! She then walked me to the back to do some business with the owner Rick ! I broght in a $1250 Rifle(AR-15) New condition(6 most old) in box with two(2) 30 round mags. Vortex optic, bag, sling, and receipts. I just wanted a small loan. Before I had set the box on the counter the young man was asking me "How much do I want"? Obviously poor/and or no training, and had never watched "Pawn Stars"! Then he immediately started telling me that it's not worth much and will depreciate rapidly. Strike two! They didn't even clear the rifle or check the mags! Those mags had 60 rds of .556 ammo loaded in them the night before until I unloaded them) Again, they're just concerned with the "Hustle" not a clean transaction or a satisfied customer. Second transaction. Same thing, a hight quality new firearm, S&W pistol(10MM) with Trijicon optic($499) a $1200 value. Two 15 Rd mags with box and receipts. This time I asked to speak to Mark, the owner of the store. Mark was great, until he realized what a cool gun I had brought in. He tried to tell me that most people just take $250 for a gun like mine and then NEVER pick it up! Which is absolutely moronic! Imagine that, I'm supposed to hand over a $1200 firearm for $250 bc Mark reads off some statistics from a computer? I've had several transactions with this store and they're obviously being trained poorly. People and/or their "Property" do like to be disrespected! I'll be using Super Pawn now! Ron, Jeff and their group provide a much more pleasant shopping experience. Just beware. There are better places to do pawn business! read more

4th of July weekend 2022, my family went to Carson City, NV to see the State Train Museum especiially when they were running the Trains for the Holiday. We just happened to stop by Carson City Jewelery, while walking by the many shops downtown. We weren't planning on buying anything.... After talking with the cashier and sales person.... My daughter bought a ring. My wife got a ring and bracelet and I a watch. Make the long story short, after buying the items and having the ring resized and shipped to California everything went well. Not to go into details something went horribly wrong but Mark straightened it all out. They do back up their products with 100% satisfaction. I was very upset at first, but have calmed down now. Overall I am happy with the excellent customer service I received after the sale of the products. I would go back and buy from them again when I visit Carson City in the future. read more

He has been extremely helpful in trying to push the paper timeline forward and was able to get me moved up in queue in the state. He went so far as to spring for lunch for me at an Italian Restaurant in the area. He also offered other concessions which I will not give specifics so others will not attempt to take advantage. I feel he went above and beyond what he had to do to help resolve the problem when he could have simply said "sorry. It is the way the process works." I went in there unsure of the value of items I had to sell. When I went in Mark and his team greeted me with a warm welcome and went over everything in detail about my items and how they price them. They looked at each piece carefully and told me what they thought. They made me an offer way more than what I had expected! This business is a supporter of the Carson City wine walk, and it's always our starting point. We pay our $8 (cuz we bring our own previously purchased CC wine walk glass), wander around to see if there's anything new, and sample their usually home-made treats and truly good wine. We do it every month. On a previous visit, I bought a Daisy pellet pistol that I thought was a pump unit (meaning the more I pumped it, the more pressure behind the shot). Turned out I was sadly disappointed in its performance. One pump was all it would take, and the shot was weak. I figured "Oh well, my mistake". But, on THIS trip I decided to bring it back and see if I could get anything for it, just to get it out of the house. Imagine my surprise when the gentleman I talked with said, "Gee, I'm sorry about that. Ya know, I've got another pistol that recently came in and it is DEFINITELY a pump unit. Let me show it to you, and if you like it, we'll just swap out." Holy cow! What a deal. I looked over the 'new to me' Benjamin - Sheridan pump pistol (.177 cal pellet), agreed to the swap, and walked out a beamingly happy customer. So, based on this transaction (and a couple others that were totally satisfying), I like this business. I think they're honest and forthright in their dealings. I'll continue to do business with them when I find items I like. As an aside, everyone that works here is dressed nicely, and gives the air of professionalism. I like it! read more

I am a business owner and know exactly what a bad review will do to a successful business. That is why it was very hard for me to write it. I also have been a customer of them for many many years starting with my parents. If the stone was replaced with an actual diamond I am glad but if that was true THERE WAS NO REASON TO OFFER ME BACK THE RING AFTER PAYING THE INTEREST OF WHAT IT WOULD OF BEEN, TELLING ME THEY WOULD PULL IT OR THAT LAB MADE A MISTAKE. When my husband tried to buy it back they told him it was melted because it had NO VALUE because it was not a diamond. We stopped by today and my old ring is for sale as a certified canary diamond for the price of 12,995.00 I got pictures of it from when I had it. The stone was cracked in one of the corners when setting so customs prong had to be done to hide it. A MOISSANITE IS A BEAUTIFUL GEM ON ITS ONE BUT IS NOT A DIAMOND AND THE COST OF ONE IS WAY SIGNIFICANT LESS THEN A DIAMOND. We are reporting them both the pawnshop and lab to the BBB. Very sad how they are willing to lie and get your money. When confronted with the truth and facts about the stone and ring they continued to say it was a diamond. Until we told them we were reporting them. The older gentleman I think his name is Frankie not sure said there was no need and we could work something out. WE SAID NO. We don't want the ring back or be involved in dealings to hide something very sad and scary. Please be careful when purchasing anything specially something like a diamond with a fake certification. BUT I DO NEED TO ADD THAT THE WHOLE TIME THEY WERE VERY NICE AND SAID THEY WOULD PULL IT AND NOT RUDE. A genuine credible lab those not make mistakes specially like this one.
