Jana was my service advisor and she was amazing!! She worked with my insurance company so I didn't have to and kept me informed all along the way! The body techs then went to work and brought my car back to brand new after the crash! They cleaned it all up at the end. It looked like it just came off the showroom floor! I would like to type a book, but most of you won't read a book. Bottom line is the service manager was extremely unpleasant. He would rather name call and act immature to his customers than apologize for the inconvenience and bad experience I received from dropping of my car. When I went to pick up my car, he was confrontational only to prove his point. This shop is untrustworthy and not considerate of putting the customer first. The service writers were a strong a strong reflection of my experience with the service manager. I've had 15 years of experience in the automotive industry and nothing can make up for these people's behavior towards customers. I now work on aircrafts for a living. Thanks again guys I will drive up to Parkville carstar next time where they know how to respect and treat there customers. read more

Finally, the problem is fixed, seems to working pretty good...so far so good. After been contacted by the district manager (I guess) and returning her call, leaving a messages (playing phone tag is not my thing) she never did call me back. Makes me think it was just a phone log she needed to make for the Monday meeting. In other words, it's believed she never really wanted to address the issues I had. Probably just wanted to be able to log she reach out. I wish people wouldn't waste my time. Anyway, problem solved. I recently donated $120 to CarStar of Lee's Summit for nothing really. I did not receive any service or any sort of repair. Because I rescheduled my appointment twice, they were not sympathetic to my concerns. I tried to cancel the repair the first time I rescheduled and they talked me out of it. I tried to cancel the second time as well but was told they had already ordered parts. So, when I finally did cancel the repair, I was sent an invoice for $119 because they ordered a part for my car that they were unable to return to the vendor. Now, I may be naïve but I can't believe that they could not just add this part to their inventory and eventually use it for another Nissan vehicle in the future. I have no idea what the part is (except it was a part to repair a bumper). In all honesty, I also tried to reschedule a third time but they were adamant that I could not do so. I explained that I was required to be at work on the day of the repair and needed my vehicle but they just didn't care. I embarrassed myself by crying because it was extremely important I not miss work but their attitude was not forgiving at all. I became very overwhelmed by this whole experience and my faith in Carstar of Lee's Summit is non-existent. They never sent me a receipt either for my donation. read more

We took our 2009 Toyota RAV4 to Carstar in Lee's Summit last week after a deer jumped out in front of us. I took the car there on Monday and they called over the next couple days and gave me updates along the way. They called Friday and said it was ready to be picked up. I brought my Immaculate condition 2006 Dodge Charger RT into this auto body repair shop because it was on a short list given to me from my Insurance Agent. Someone had keyed the center of my drivers side door. It was a lightning belt shape scratch about six inches long and very deep into the paint. I have kept this car in exceptional shape over the years and the paint condition on it made my car to look like it was only a couple of years old! So I figured it would be easy for them to match and blend the paint on the door panel to the front corner panel and the rear door side panel. Well when I went to pick up my car two days after leaving it I was completely shocked at how unmatched the area they painted was to the areas I mentioned above. The store Manager called out the guy who worked on my car and for 15 minutes they tried to persuade me to accept this very poor quality of work! I refused to accept it! The Manager said he would have to paint the whole side of the car to get everything to match. So I said do it! They did make good and paint the whole side of the car. That side of the car is slightly darker than the rest of the car but it is very subtle. I registered my complaint with my insurance agent and company about this place. I do not recommend anyone to bring their car to this place! read more

After scraping my hood with a ladder I expected to have to spend $400-$800 to have it repainted. They looked at it, rubbed it out with some rubbing compound and recommended I get some touch up paint at the dealer for the larger dings. He even rubbed out a couple other spots. He then proceeded to tell me there was no charge. They could not have been more helpful and honest. read more
