Buying a new car through Cartelligent is a true, "No-Brainer!" Why would anyone want to spend all the time talking to car salesmen and finance advisors only to have to settle for a car hundreds above MSRP because the dealer loads the car with accessories you don't want or need. Not to mention the countless hours wasted speaking to dealer searching for the car YOU want and then be told you have to wait till the next shipment comes from the factory. This is the second time I've partnered with Aaron Braverman of Cartelligent. The first was a decade ago and I was surprised that Cartelligent's fee has only increased by $100! For the work they do it's worth every dollar! I was searching for a very popular, hard to find 2026 RAV4 Limited. The only small hiccup was when a vehicle of interest was sold over a weekend, but Cassie was able to remedy that situation by securing another model the following week. Let me preface this review by stating that I'm obsessed with cars. Even though I've owned a lot of them, I always spend hours upon hours researching each one that I have ever purchased. With this in mind, I recently was in the market for a new SUV to haul various carseats and other gear as the new official daddymobile. Despite needing to be utilitarian, this however didn't mean it had to be boring. I therefore did my research and decided that I wanted a SUV that cranked out power in the 600HP range. I also wanted it to be filled with the latest tech & gadgetry. With that in mind, I limited it down to the BMW X5M Comp, the MBZ GLE 63 S, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and the Audi RSQ8. I originally tried shopping for the best price on my own through approaching all the various local dealerships. I even had some dealers where I was supposedly being given the "Friends & Family" insider's pricing since I had bought cars from them before. Before I proceeded to sign on the dotted line for any of my options, I decided to give Cartelligent a try just to make sure I was indeed getting the best price. This is when I met HILARY BROPHY of Cartelligent. From the moment I connected with her, she was super responsive. I learned that she could assist me with pricing on either purchasing or leasing virtually any new car. She informed me that this even applied to special custom factory orders. No matter what, she felt she could still beat any price that I had been promised already. While I felt this was highly unlikely, I decided to test it out just to see. I therefore priced out all my various choices with a customized list of options. Hilary did not bat an eye when it came to me wanting her to price out multiple vehicles all at once. She efficiently took my custom builds and within 24 hours got back to me on her negotiated Cartelligent prices. I was actually amazed when her deals were actually better than mine. Some were fairly close, but they were still undeniably better when it came down to the final numbers. After I did more research on which exact SUV best suited my needs, I told Hilary which one I wanted. Exactly 12 weeks after putting in my order, my SUV was fully built and delivered to the local dealership. I showed up at this office, signed some final papers and paid for the agreed-upon driveoff amount via credit card (checks are also an option). Stumble upon Cartelligent while looking for a new car. I sent an inquiry through the website, got a phone call the next day. I already know what make/model I want as well as color/package. The account executive discussed the options and sent back a build form to confirm. Then he went to search for a car, came back in a few days telling us he found the car we want, with the exact exterior and interior colors, that was in transit from the port. He negotiated a pretty good price below MSRP for us (when one of the dealerships told me no way to go below MSRP for this particular model), and we also bought the lease end warranty from them which is cheaper than if you were to buy from the dealership. At delivery, we found one of the dealership-installed options was missing. They took care of contacting the dealership for us so we just had to swing by the dealership later on to pick up the missing part. For me, it took away all the stress from having to go to dealership and sit there for hours negotiating something that you don't know if you get a good deal or not. I think we may have spent like 30 mins doing the paperwork and we left with a new car. We were very well informed the status throughout the process. We also traded in our old car with them for a fairly good price. It was great experience for us and I'll for sure consider Cartelligent again for our next car. read more

Solid experience. Now usually I'm cool with car negotiations and the such but just had a baby and just recently did a Bolt lease so I was pretty tired of the whole drawn out process. Enter cartelligent. Worked with Chase. Chase was good at listening to what I wanted...I knew specifically the model and trim I wanted. He came back a few days later with a good result (I was looking for a 2017 in November of 2017 so the stock was low prepping for 2018s). His first price was decent but not any better than my first 5 internet "show me the price". Was about $300 over the "True car" average. I had a price of about $3.5K under MSRP...about $500 under invoice but Chase doubted we could get there... Being on paternity leave helps. I spent about 3 days emailing dealerships and playing them against each other. Low and behold I got them to exactly what I wanted. Sent it over to Chase. From there on was the benefit. He arranged competitive financing for me (beat Honda rate by a lot), and had the car delivered to my house. They also picked up my car for trade in and offered basically KBB value which is nice (another area dealers try to shaft us). The paperwork took 15 mins and I was a new car owner! All in all...it's good if you want to cut down the pressure tactics and wasting tons of time at a dealership waiting around. Do your homework...email a dozen dealers for their lowest price and keep emailing until you hit bottom. Then use these guys to save you some time. I think time is money...and for the $300 or so I paid I saved probably 3-4 hours at a dealership..no bait and switches...easy trade in. End of the day...service was worth it in my opinion. read more

We leased couple more times and since we established trust they tipped us off by selling a loaner vehicle from the dealer as a vip demo only vehicle . The vehicle fell apart within a week of purchase . Total failure with about 20k in parts change on transmission etc. Thankfully it was on warranty but cost us a lot of time and energy . The first year we had to go for 3 problems - all for a car we thought was just a vip demo then we were told later by the dealer which was a loaner vehicle not a vip demo and people have abused it badly. We lost so much trust in them. So be cautious when working with cartelligent sales people. Don't let your guard down. read more

Bought an e Golf from them and unfortunately the software was not updated properly so when I took it home to charge it, it wouldn't charge. The car was not drivable! I bought a brick. I tried to contact my broker (Don) to resolve the problem. At first, he was available to help but soon lost interest and stopped returning my repeated phonecalls for advice. The car was eventually fixed at the dealer and I was treated with more attention. The lack of returned phonecalls once I had a problem spoke volumes. I lost a lot of sleep but learned a valuable lesson. Don't buy from Cartelligent. read more

A bumpy start, but a happy ending. All's well that ends well. I started looking at new cars in January 2011, and test-drove several of them before settling on a BMW 128i. I was able to use the BMW web site to "build" one with the options I liked-- in particular I wanted one that was blue. I selected the "get me a quote" button and found that pretty much all the cars in local inventory were silver or black. Boo. I saw the Cartelligent ad in the SF Chronicle, and thought they might be able to find what I wanted. Plus, the low-hassle aspect of using a car broker was very appealing. So I signed up ($500 up front) and Dwight did the search. No matches anywhere in California. There were a couple that were close, but they had expensive options that I didn't want. So it looked like I would have to order one. Oops, in early February of 2011 you can't order a new 2011 BMW. Ok, I was in no rush, so I said I would wait until they were taking orders for the 2012. I was asked a couple of times to "put my order in early" but since the actual 2012 cars weren't ready to order at that time, I didn't see the point. So in March 2011 BMW started taking orders for the 2012 models. I went back to the website and indeed, several options had changed. I rebuilt my car and hit the quote button. The quote I got from Cartelligent was exactly $500 less than what I would apparently have paid at a dealer had I ordered the car online. I was told that their price was "$500 over invoice" but would be surprised if the online MSRP is only $500 over invoice as well. Maybe it is. I tried a few times to find out exactly what was going on, but never quite got a good answer. Nevertheless, I was not obsessed with getting the very best price, although I would have appreciated an upfront explanation of the details. I ordered the car, was asked for a credit check, and then was told 6-8 weeks for delivery. 6 weeks later, Dwight says the car arrived in dock, and one week after that, I had my car. It was perfect, exactly what I ordered. Dwight picked me up at my office, and in less than an hour I was done. I signed lots of papers, and was surprised to find that they had taken care of the DMV registration as well... so my plates should just show up in the mail. Sweet. I think that because of my specific request of a rare color, and the unusually bad timing, I hit some bumps in the process that most people won't have. The experience overall, was quite good. I've not had much direct interaction with dealerships, but what little I have had has been stressful. Definitely this is the way to buy a new car. read more

I knew the exact car I wanted, but there were none available in the state, so Bryce quickly sent me a contract to order my dream car (Mazda MX5 in eternal blue).
