First off the prices are not bad at all. I went to the clearance section since my son is older now. I see a lot of size 14 or xl which would fit him. I saw a nice warm thermal top long sleeve. Went here for the first time. There was only one staff, she was friendly with certain customers- greeting them, chatting etc. I started looking at the clothes and she went closer to me, look at me and did not say anything. I was finished shopping, went in front of the cashier. She was putting clothes in the rack. I know she saw me but I did not want to bother her since maybe she needed time. I waited about 8-10 mins I was the only one in line but it was obvious she did not want to help me. I was going to just leave the clothes there and leave because no one should be treated like that but instead I told her I was ready. Her facial expression was annoyed and upset for some reason. This is the first time I've seen this person and never talk to her before. She was very rude and seem to be R*cist. I paid for my stuff and even treated her kindly after her rudeness. i've been here multiple times when shopping for my nieces, nephews, and friends' children. they have a pretty large selection of onesies, 2-piece outfits, jackets, shoes, and accessories for boys and girls. most of my purchases have involved onesies and 2-piece outfits b/c i feel that they are the most practical. customer service is decent, as i've always been greeted with a smile whenever i walked in, and thanked kindly upon checkout. tip: definitely take advantage of their sales, which can be as high as 70% off the original price. i've scored some great deals on gifts during these "hot" sale days. read more

Apparently there was something in the water about eight or nine months ago because I've got six or seven pregnant friends. Of course if you have six or seven pregnant friends, that means you have six or seven baby showers you have to attend. And if you have six or seven baby showers to attend, you know you need to buy six or seven baby shower gifts. Annnnnd if you're like me...you wait until the day before (sometimes an hour before) to buy a present. I went to Target to find some cute things, but can you believe that Target didn't come through for me? I was floored! I figured that I'd walk on over to Marshall's to scope out their baby clothing scene, but as I was rolling my Target cart back to its stall I glanced over and saw Carter's Babies and Kids. I figured I could walk over there to see if they had any affordable baby clothes. When I walked in there were two women working; they were both helping customers so they didn't notice me at first. No big deal. I saw several promotional signs advertising a 60% off spring sale, so that piqued my interest. To my surprise many current spring clothing items were indeed 60% off. Not up to 60% off, not 60% off if you buy five items, not 60% off if you give up your first born kid. That was nice! I picked up a few items for a baby boy and a baby girl and then went to scope out the clearance section. The clearance section had past season/holiday items, and I spotted some nice things for as low as $1.99. The checkout process was easy. By that time I was the only person in the store and both employees devoted their attention to me. When I got to the counter I thought one of the baby boy outfits I chose wasn't as cute as another one I'd spotted at the register. The ladies helped me make up my mind; they both agreed that the first outfit I chose was the cuter of the two. Overall my experience here was a good one. It's so easy for me to have tunnel vision when I go to the Target shopping center. All I see is TARGET. Next time I'm on the hunt for a baby shower gift, I'll be sure to stop here. *Note: make sure you ask all questions about the sales. I overheard the associate tell the customer before me that some of the items she purchased wouldn't get a certain discount. I think the lady brought in additional coupons and tried to use the coupons for the sale items. Always read fine print, but when in doubt--ask! read more

I was at the RWC store today with my baby and mom as they opened. I asked the only salesperson there who wasn't doing anything whether they had footed pajamas for 9-12 month olds. I can't even begin to explain the attitude flung my way. She didn't answer. I asked again whether they had the footed pajamas and she pointed a finger at some display where there clearly no such items. I asked again in case I was not clear. She starts yelling at me about how they don't have fleece pajamas. I never once asked about fleece pajamas. Rather footed pajamas. I asked for her manager (not in for another 30 minutes I was told) and then her name. Doris was this negative and unprofessional employee's name. When asked by the person I was with what was going on I told the person how the employee was acting and then Doris threatens me with "do you want to take this outside" and threats of calling the police multiple times. This person is unhinged and should not be working retail, let alone retail where children are present. I'll complain to corporate but warning about the terrible employee at said RWC store. read more

Well, I've officially been in this store for 5 minutes and not one person said hi, hello, nothing! There's 2 women working here and talking to 2 other women who came to shop but also work here. How do I know they work here? She just told her "enjoy your day off tomorrow". Not to mention hearing their conversation about "they were so messing around".... Maybe you should have that conversation behind closed doors. Or when there's no one in the store.... I've been here for 10 minutes now and still no one even said hello. I came here to buy my friend a late baby shower gift and I was surprised at how cheap everything was! Maybe I was just lucky since everything in the store was 40% off at the time, but they still had a ton of clearance stuff! It's awesome that a lot of their clothes are so cheap since babies grow out of them so fast. The baby clothes are also so cute and surprisingly addicting to shop for...I actually had a lot of fun picking out her gift and ended up buying 2 things. I absolutely love this store for baby clothes. They always have great deals and awesome customer service. The one thing I am glad about is that they know moms and their babies, toddlers etc are coming to shop so kids running around is okay. When I went Beth was so nice. She went and close the front door so my daughter wouldn't run out the door. So while I shopped my daughter ran around where ever I was. Another thing I like about this store is the organization of the clothing. The sizes are easy to find, nothing is randomly put in corner, and the deals are amazing. It's not a huge store but you can find basically all you need I. Clothes for your baby. The collection is so cute! Sometimes i try to not stay to long inside because I'll end up buying all those cute clothes lol. There is a bathroom for the customers to use and also a water fountain. Cute clothes and if you have coupons, it's a great deal. My exchange experience was a painful 18 minute one. I waited in line forever and the cashier had no clue what she was doing. I had signed up for email coupons yesterday and today she is asking for my home address and phone #, all for an exchange. In the mean time, my 3 month old is getting fussy and there was no urgency to get things rolling. Finally, someone who knew what she was doing came out to help. I stopped coming here because the ladies that work here are just simply rude and hate their job. I tried it once again today and guess what same type of attitude. I've never been to Carter's store before and after my visit last night, I've learned I wasn't missing anything. I've driven by countless times and the store is always empty. Now I understand why. They don't want customers ! I was the only customer when I entered the store. Not even a hi the entire time I was there. I even made eye contact with one associate stocking shelves and another two who were moving inventory. No acknowledgement from any of them. So many other places to shop for children's clothes.
