This Old Navy awesome. The employees have fulfilled my online in-store pick-up order in as little as 2 minutes. When I had a question and called the store, a real person picked up the phone and talked to me. FYI they check ID at pickup, and my question was about my husband picking up an order in my name. When my husband went to pick up, the guy remembered my call!!! IN THIS DAY AND AGE?? For what it's worth, I have not stopped shopping at ON since I was a kid. I have always been able to find something I thought was cute, especially floral summer dresses. I have workout clothes that are 10+ years old and still look brand new even though I think each piece cost less than $10; I can't say that for most of my lululemon. A few years ago, I got matching outfits for me, my husband, and my daughter for my daughter's 1st birthday without paying an arm and a leg like I would have at some of the more specialty online stores that offer this. I now consistently buy kids clothes from there because they are stinkin' cute and affordable. read more

I just like how this location has ample parking and the sliding doors to welcome you inside. Plus the employees are always nice and accommodating. So last year around this time I went to Old Navy and was teated poorly and racially profiled in the store. It was SUPER uncomfortable. Shortly after I posted my review I got this message from some random person. I think that it was an employee working that day. It was such a racist and inappropriate message that I am posting it here to show the level of ignorance and hostility that people of color deal with EVERYDAY. We had a really nice experience here taking a 10 year old for her birthday shopping at the Hillsdale Mall. Old Navy had a nice selection of clothing, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Our granddaughter had a great time looking and she found some outfits she really liked. She informed us that "probably in another year" she will be "obsessed" with clothes and then we should do this shopping trip again. We will see! read more

3 stars are for the employee who checked out my purchases . When I got to the car I realized one of the shirts I purchased scanned for more than it was suppose to and which also was hung in a section (with multiples of the same exact shirt) that had a 30 % off sign over it. I mentioned it as we were leaving the parking lot to head home. I was tired but my husband still turned around and took it in for me and spoke to the same young man (not sure if he was newer but he didn't have a name tag so I can't give him a shout out by name). He called over a gentleman my husband assumed was a manager to help after he showed him the location of the shirt and the discount sign right above. He acknowledged that the shirt was indeed rung up incorrectly (obviously-the tag said different than the receipt). However, he wasn't going to honor the 30% off that was clearly posted and it was not an accident as if someone had lazily thrown a shirt back on the wrong rack. There were multiples of the same shirt and in different colors. This was purposely put there. He told my husband he wasn't going to honor the discount. However, the original cashier understood and knew that this was not right and even against business practice and DID honor the discount. This was over $20 in savings. Please watch your receipt and the discounts posted. And if a business has a product posted at a discounted price they are to honor it. It was clearly not a one off thing. read more

Shopping Old Navy is a blast! There's so many things to check out for whatever season you are looking for durable, yet affordable clothing. I always check out the clearance rack and score big time bargains. Last week I picked up three pairs of built-in liner athletic shorts in size Medium. Perfect fit and I am rocking my body when working out, wearing them. I know my size and usually pull five pairs of jeans or pants in different styles to try on knowing I might only choose one to buy but more often than not I choose three. I believe in purging my wardrobe and actually enjoy giving away clothing I no longer wear. Old Navy fits my styles and tastes so I go in a couple times a month and look around and then take advantage of awesome sales they are having..Old Navy...have FUN! read more

Overall, Old Navy is great. It's inexpensive and the quality is pretty good. This stuff lasts. At this store, however, the lines are always atrocious. No movement at all! To wait 20 minutes with five people in front of me and three working at the register is just insane! If customers can't get to the front of a line to buy clothes, how can the store sell anything?! This location is typically just like any other location. They have their share of clothes and price scanners and at least they have someone to man down the dressing room here so I did give them an extra star. However, I've never waited so long in line at an Old Navy before! I think there was about 5 or 6 people ahead and I waited for about 15-20 mins! Longer than I was even in the store for looking and browsing around..... Not too sure if I'll be back at this location to shop around. I visited the store with my 15-year-old daughter about four days ago. I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at the store. Oh wait, that's because I didn't get any. This is not the first time I have experienced this. The first time I thought maybe the staff had a one off day so I thought of giving another opportunity on my most recent visit. Unfortunately the second time around was even worse. Not a single person greeted me when I entered the store. I did not feel welcome. I was struggling to find sizes on the denim wall and there was an employee folding clothes just a few feet away from me and she never approached me to ask if I needed help. My daughter and I were standing at that wall for a while trying to find sizes and trying to be courteous of not making a mess and re-folding the jeans that we looked at. Once we found a few sizes we went to the fitting rooms and there was no one manning the fitting rooms. We just walked in helped ourselves and we were not quite sure where to return items we did not want so we felt the need to have to put everything back where we originally got them. This really saddens me because I am a former Old Navy employee. I absolutely loved working at the Colma store when I was a teenager. This was my very first job and I took so much pride in representing Old Navy. Sadly I will not be returning to this location because I did not feel the warm welcome at all. I was hoping the cashier at the end of our experience would've improved our experience but she had no passion either. I don't expect perfection but I do expect for employees to make customers feel welcome for coming to their store. Very sad! One star for the prices, one star for the denim quality. On a hunt for basic tees (on a budget) for my friend, we found ourselves stopping at this Old Navy. I haven't been to very many Old Navys, so I'm not sure if this is common practice.. If not, this one should win a giant lollipop for having a little table with coloring sheets and crayons within eyesight of the employees working the cash registers so that Mommies can shop in peace. I've been to this Old Navy a few times. Their clearance section is always packed with clothes. They often have additional x% off in their store, especially for clearance, so I often find some good deals. Their jewelry sections is interesting. I actually saw a lot of rings that I thought were cute but the rings were too big for my fingers. They had a lot of size M and L but not too many S for some reason. I had a $5 reward certificate, and I ended up using it and paying an additional $1.92 on a pair of boxers and a cami. Not bad, right? This Old Navy also has a large parking lot, and you can always park at Hillsdale Mall too and just walk over. read more

They left the sensor on a pair of pants that I bought. I come with my receipt to get the sensor off and the location is closed for a special event. Now I have to go to another location that's three exits away with a screaming toddler in the car. The customer service obviously sucks! read more

I'm so disappointed. Ordered an item online and received an email saying it was sent. I then received an email saying it was delivered. I never received the package. I have cameras, so I know it wasn't stolen... The address was correct... Still no package. I called Old Navy. They made me wait because there was a window of time that it could've still come. So I waited there time and I called back at that time. They said I still need to call back one more day to get my refund. The product I wanted was no longer available. read more

Part of me misses the old location where DSW is, but I like the way they pulled it together. The clearance section is in the back of the store. Be sure to hit that area if you aren't up to their semi high prices. I've found some cute items here and will continue to look around when I have the time. Um, when they first opened there was this one girl with long brown hair who looked like she could be a model, but had the worst attitude. I avoided shopping here till I noticed she wasn't working. The selection here is lackluster, but the customer service is pretty great. I went in today to return items, but the original store had made a few mistakes when completing my transaction. Luckily, Natalie was eager and able to help right away. With the support of her manager, Natalie was able to correct the mistake (twice, due to a system error), complete the exchange transaction, and sent me on my way. I appreciate her people skills in what could've been a challenging situation and look forward to visiting ON soon! Tifanny's review is so on point! This exactly just happened to me! Just now! Im from around the area and this is the closest store to me. We're literally had the same treatment from this exact same employee! Im trying to get a price matched of the things that I purchased online but obviously still hasn't arrived yet due to their shipping problem. I decided to deal with this on my own and just buy the item in store and hoping for the price matched from the online order that I have purchased. The lead was very helpful and was very understanding of my situation because she herself know that the shipping of the online orders are having some issues right now; hence the agreement that she would approve the price matching and just let the person at the counter know. When I got there, this mean employee is already giving an attitude to me. I tried explaining the situation and then she called for a manager to the cashier, the lead who dealt with me saw me at the counter and she was the one who told this mean employee to do the price match. Right there and then, this mean employee switched her attitude into being like a nice person all of a sudden. She didn't even know how much trouble I had due to the shipping problems of my online order and yet she started judging me just because I want a price match! I wouldn't asked for it if the lead told me she can't allow that! This is also not the only time that she gave me this bad treatment. She was giving me attitude when I returned something I bought a day before from this store. Im sorry that I am not happy about the item that I purchased from your store! And that I have to return it early in the morning because I have work. This employee does not have empathy of your customers. She needs to get another special training specially knowing now that Im not the only one who had this same treatment. This employee is the only one for the first time ever treated me this way. No one on the sales floor greeted any of the customers. This was on a Sunday afternoon. One employee was particularly good at customer avoidance - he walked very quickly past shoppers, with no eye contact at all. When one shopper walked towards him, he even picked up the pace and then the shopper couldn't find him. The dressing room attendant smiled at all of us in line. The dressing rooms were tidy, and the lighting was good. There were more dresses in stock here than at the Valley Fair location. I have found that Old Navy dresses vary in sizing - sometimes I wear a Small, and other times a Medium. Their tops generally fit me in Medium; once in a great while, I will see tops that run huge, where a Medium is like an XL. Oddly, this is the only location that I've been to where the jeans have a strong chemical smell - not sure if they got a bad batch or what. A shopper next to me commented that a person could get high from sniffing the jeans - that's how strong the chemical smell is. I've ordered jeans online as well as bought them from the Valley Fair and Great Mall locations (Westgate Center has never had my size in stock, and I've looked through piles), and none of them ever smelled like strong chemicals. This store has gone downhill in the last few years. It's always a mess, there's clothes all over the floor and half the time you can't even tell what belongs on certain racks. The bins and carts behind the register are overflowing with clothes looking like they've never cleaned up the store. Signs are always empty so you aren't sure how much stuff is. The customer service is really the issue for me. The only decent service I've ever received is from an employee named Sharon who helped me over the phone. Other than that, I'm usually ignored by the people on the floor, in the fitting room and the managers seem to make eye contact at the register and walk away. No one even greets you anymore read more

By surprise, we found out a fav location of Old Navy had been closed down & this was next closest to my proximity.....I did not remember this location very fondly & wasn't looking forward to coming over but I needed some affordable runaround clothes & Old Navy is such a good staple As we were driving up, I thought wow, what a change! The location of this store moved as well ( but just to the building next door ) & they now are bigger & better. Nicely spread out to accommodate the crowded shopping day - even though there were a ton of people inside, there was plenty of room to move about Found a great selection of the size I was looking for & people were waiting at the fitting rooms to let us in Also found a few cute weekend-wear shirts & sweaters & the Mr found some adorable Halloween boxers - it was a winner of a day And now that I know this location has improved so incredibly, I won't hesitate to come back! read more

This place is not what Old Navy used to be known for. Today the clothes are cheaply made, and not cheap in price. I don't mind buying things for one season when they are priced reasonably. But these were far too high for what they are. There is never anyone to help in the dressing room area. Are we supposed to let ourselves in or what? And how is that possible when the doors have locks? There is always crap everywhere, and never a salesperson when you need them. My thoughts? Either buy online (and hope you don't have to come here to return) or spend a few dollars more and shop at gap. read more

It probably should be a 1 star, but I am trying to reflect on my other experiences here aside from the one I had today. I am used to customer service being good. In fact, I'm used to people maybe not bending over completely backwards but understanding where you're coming from and trying to help you out. This just doesn't happen here 90% of the time. Three days ago, I went shopping and bought some stuff - no big deal. Two days later I received a coupon for thirty percent off anything in the store. At other retail stores that i work at, we are MORE THAN HAPPY to accommodate such an exchange of merch, whether it be adjusting the price with a receipt or doing a return/exchange. To receive a prissy and stupid answer of 'NO' from some little twit behind a counter is irritating, especially since she didn't even bother to think about it before she said it. And considering the fact that I know people that work for Gap Inc. No checking with managers, no asking another associate, no thinking outside the box. Just an answer of 'we don't price adjust." "How bout if I return the merchandise and purchase it back?" "Um, that's still a price adjustment." No, it's not. In the books, it's a simple return exchange. How bout you jump behind your training register and actually READ. I ended up simply returning everything i had purchased and, royally pissed off, headed to Bridgepoint where they had less of a size selection but listened to my complaint and actually said that in that situation, they would have been more than happy to help. Way to go Hillsdale. Instead of only losing $24 today, you lost over $90 AND a customer who has been coming since this store opened. read more

Not bad as Old Navy locations go. Good selection of items; I can generally find my size. I like to get exercise stuff here because it's decent quality for the money (I'm not going for high-performance gear). I wish the clothes were cut better, but that's not this store's fault. They have a lot of accessories here, as well as fun toys and gift items in the checkout area. I love the music they play here -- so frequently, they're playing one of my favorite songs. The playlist-maker (no doubt someone in some corporate office someplace) seems to have a special fondness for Roxy Music, as I do. The store's neatness quotient is so-so. Clothes stay in order and the sweaters stay folded, but the accessories and the bins in the checkout area seem to be messy every time I look at them. Checkout moves pretty quickly, even when the line snakes all the way through the "designated area" and on out. Pro Tip: gotta go? Don't shop on Friday or Saturday night. Try a weeknight. read more

I loved when this location was a couple of doors down, it was a huge location and everything was spread out and easy to look at. That being said they have moved into a slighly smaller location, but still a great inventory selection. Old Navy is a my go to location when looking for t-shirts, especially white ones. There is nothing I have more than when they start to look dingy from being washed. I usually can find some on clearance at this location and then I stock up. :) Staff here has always been friendly. For some reason this is one of my favorite Old Nay's. It's been remodeled and moved down a bit where the Tower Records used to be and is now one floor instead of two. I always seem to find something when I come here and end up spending some serious money! The floor is well kept and the employees are around to answer any questions or find sizes for you. Parking is a bit tight, but that's also because there's Trader Joes and Barnes and Noble next door. This Old Navy rocks. read more

Docking two stars because the lame people who work here charged me the regular price for a clearance item and refused to fix it claiming it was because the online price and the in store price are different. True, the systems are different, but if they would've just taken a minute to either call corporate or look in their system, they would've found the correct price. read more

This store doesn't have a wide selection of women's clothes as other Old Navy stores, but I did walk out with some cheap workout clothes. Their sale section is small and not really worth looking. Since they don't have a lot of fitting rooms, I ended up waiting for 10 minutes to try on things. Surprisingly, I was patient, but they really should have more fitting rooms considering that it is a store catered to the whole family. 4 stars for the friendly staff at the register. 3 stars for everything else. read more
