I offered to pick it up next week but she insisted that I don't go without the necklace for that long. She took the jewelry and told me to come back in 30 minutes. Five Stars! I had the best experience with Paige and Youstina while shopping for the perfect gift with my friend. We originally went in to pick out something special for her husband, but with love in the air (and why not treat ourselves?), we ended up getting matching David Yurman heart necklaces! Our sales associates were the absolute sweetest--so patient, knowledgeable, and fun to shop with. Their energy made the whole experience even more special. She helped us with different styles, sizes, etc. she had the rings shipped to another store where we were getting married for convenience. She helped us pick out our forever rings. I want to start of this review by saying I love David Yurman it's my favorite place to shop high end jewelry. Although I love their jewelry I was very disappointed with the service I received from the sales associate Brian. I went in to get 2 of my favorite rings repaired and from the beginning he seemed like he didn't want to assist me. I told him that I always shop with another associate and he completely disregarded that and rushed the interaction. He did not explain to me at all what was the process was going to be and proceeded to type away as if I wasn't there. After not feeling welcomed I asking for my rings back and decided to the flagship location where I received amazing service. Absolutely horrible customer service experience. My fiancé and I went in earlier to get my engagement ring resized and instead of us being treated warmly and with respect, we were treated like we were bothering the salesperson (when the store had just opened). If I'm going in to get my ring resized, it obviously means that I don't know the exact size and would like some expertise in what size I should get. But I was asked what size I would like and then greeted with an attitude when I said I did not know my size. Pro tip: treat people who frequent your business with the respect they deserve (especially when they are a repeat customer who spends a lot of money on the brand). read more

I had an excellent experience here! I went in to look at some bracelets I was eyeing online. The sales lady was very helpful. She showed me many styles and everything was in the budget I specified to her. I tried them on and she let me think about my choices while sipping on some sparkling water. It was a great environment to pick out a special piece of jewelry! I will say that she told me that I would get a $100 store credit if I filled out a survey. This is true but the voucher is only valid until the end of the year and you need to spend $1000 to get the $100 off. The fine print is real! read more

Horrible costumer service alert - not about the jewelry at all - went in looking for a ring I saw online. Was told they don't have in store but they would call and check the warehouse for me and call or email me back - gave them all my info. Waited for a response - never got one. Finally called and asked to speak to the salesmen who helped me. He remembered on the phone and basically admitted to completely forgetting to call or email me. It was bizarre. I might have actually been able to have been upsold IF he'd called me back. Moral of this review - shop online or at a different David Yurman cause these salesmen aren't reliable. read more

Deplorable customer service. I purchased a gift here for my niece. Sales informed me I would receive an email receipt and a phone call when my order arrived. Sales had no trouble billing me, but has no record of my email or phone number. I didn't know that was only the start of poor service. The manager, a woman named Shawn, had LOADS of explanations but only apologized after I pointed out that an apology and rectification would be nice - and would suffice. In one phone call, she said she would proffer a discount for my trouble, but in the last call, there was no mention of a discount - just loads more explaining. David Yurman is one of my favorite luxury jewelry designers. I have a few DY expensive trinkets. I went to the boutique to have the missing dingbat ( DY logo ) added to my bracelet. I purchased my bracelet years ago at the store on Madison Ave. I'm closer to Soho. Therefore,I decided to there. When I entered the store. I was greeted by the security guard. The decor of the store is warm , inviting, and unstated luxury. The man who initially helped me with my repair was assisting a client when I saw him. We smiled and nodded at each other. I walked around the boutique looking at the classic, eclectic, elegant jewelry. Finally, a lovely lady with a bright smile came out to greet me. I gave her my receipt. She gave me my repaired bracelet. When she presented my bracelet, it looked brand new. They did an excellent job cleaning and repairing my bracelet. She gave me a new pouch for my bracelet and shopping bag. I thank her for her professional , friendly customers service. I walked to the gentleman who place my order weeks ago and shook his hand and thanked him. I'm a happy client. read more

Never in my entire life I have I experienced worst customer service than I have at the Soho David Yuman store. It is extremely dissatisfying as a repeat David Yurman customer to experience such incompetency from a brand that holds themselves to such a high standard. To start, I ordered a spiritual bead bracelet in lapis lazuli from DY.com. When the Bracelet arrived I was dissatisfied with the size/fit of the bracelet. As such, I elected to travel to the David Yurman store in Soho (the closest David Yurman to me). As this is a 3+ hour drive for me I elected to call the store 24 hours in advance. I spoke with Youstina who assured me they had the spiritual bead bracelet in a size small in stock at the store. However, when I arrived 24 hours later youstina was not there nor did she reserve the bracelet for me as promised. As youstina was not there I unfortunately had to deal with Tessa an extremely unfriendly, condescending, narcissistic sales associate who I have had the misfortune of dealing with on previous visits to be Soho David Yurman store. Please be aware, if you elect to shop at the Soho David Yurman store avoid working with Tessa as her and her condescending attitude will ensure that have a poor experience while shopping for jewelry. read more

Came in with a friend to learn about David Yurman and the jewelry here for a special James Beard event. We were so incredibly impressed with the staff. The time and patience they showed towards us and knowledge was excellent! AJ clearly has a passion for the industry and what he does, which made it a great experience. He took time to carefully explain everything and show us a variety of what David Yurman has to offer. My wife bought a Sterling Silver bracelet and after a few days, her skin turned black green. So they said "ok come in with it and we will coat it with Rhodium. She never had these problems with silver before. We googled this issue on the web and found out that Sterling Silver contains 7% copper. Is it possible that David Yurman is using more copper and less silver in their jewelry? I hope not. The bracelet comes with a 14 day return policy for a full refund. When my wife went there on the 14th day to return it, they said she could not and offered a store credit or exchange. This is not good business practice. It's time to go somewhere else for fine jewelry. read more

This was the single best buying experience ever, thank you Anne-Cecille Mystille for being so incredibly patient and helpful, and for making it such a uniquely wonderful experience - I'm a fan! We wandered in aimlessly since we were visiting NY on my birthday and I was truly kicking tires, never having owned a Yurman piece despite a fairly sizable jewelry collection but somehow never been taken with Yurmen since I prefer unique pieces. She glommed onto my taste pretty quickly and showed me fabulous pieces that fit my taste really well versus the classic Yurman look , never pushed, and we had fun. Of course the complimentary champagne helped (and not bad champagne!), but we were well into a great experience already so had already built positive momentum. :) I bought a necklace that I adore and will wear a lot, and two bracelets that stack well with my John Hardy pieces. I Really can not believe my experience at this location. Both my fiancee and I have been fans and buyers of David Yurman for years. When my necklace popped after wearing for some months, I quickly took it to this location in hopes of getting it repaired. To be honest, I did not feel welcomed at all. Even though associate tried everything in their power to address my concerns, the energy and my overall experience was not what I expected, employee constantly sighed and finished my sentences as if they had better things do. I love David Yurman's pieces, but as far as visiting the Prince street location again, that will be the first and last. read more
