buyer beware, don't expect to get anything more from Carvana or there warranty company Silverrock. they will sale you a car that is in bad shape, unsafe and not do the right thing by fixing it. I just got my car and had to replace all the tires they were bubbled, splitting and unsafe, the car also has as bad breaks 3/4 pads that squeak and a broken oil cap. All of these things should be fixed before turning the car over to the customer. There 150 point inspection and warranty grantee a total scam. if you decide to buy a car be prepared to pay out of pocket to fix it. You would be better off going to a local dealer, that wouldn't send you off the lot in an unsafe, uninspected, unserviced vehicle. read more

I've contacted a lemon law attorney. I purchased a van in August and have already put $3000 Into it. AC didn't work when I bought it. They fixed that trough silver leaf. ERG valve blew the PVC valve blew. Window switch broke. Just ordered that for another $124 Had a coolant flush done today. Which was full of oil so there's a broken head gasket or something going on. Drive shaft is all rusted. Keeps throwing the same code with the check engine light constantly coming on. read more

Excellent Experience! I decided to sell 2 cars a few months ago so I could buy another one; I didn't want to mess with dealer trade in low ball offers or some online marketplace where people would want to test drive my vehicles. I first sold the lesser of the 2 to make sure it was good. All went smooth then I sold my more high dollar vehicle a few days later. Payment was next day deposited into my account and cars were picked u for $40. Fast forward a month or two and I wasn't driving my amazing and modified Jeep anymore with super low miles and perfect shape. I got on Carvana and they gave me a fair price, same good experience. Last week I sold another car to Carvana that my mom drives because she got a new Tesla and this was a s well a great experience. While you may get a higher price by a private sale, with Carvana, the car offer isn't as low as a trade in dealer offer and you don't have to deal withe selling your car; to me this is totally worth it. read more

11/3/2024, I purchased a 2018 BMW X3 from Carvana for $28,560. The delivery day was rainy, & during my initial inspection, Dylan, the delivery rep, assured me that any issues found would be taken care of by Carvana. I noticed a chip in the black part of the right rear bumper as it came off the truck. Dylan indicated that Carvana would fix such issues. The vehicle had 13,860 miles, & based on Carvana's website, it appeared in excellent condition with a clean CarFax . Over the week, I discovered additional issues & reported them to SilverRock, the third-party company managing repair claims for Carvana's 100-day, 5,000-mile warranty. On 11/9, I texted a Carvana rep about those items & the rear bumper's paint not matching the body, with visible overspray & tape marks. I didn't officially file a claim within Carvana's 7-day window for reporting cosmetic issues, as I was leaving the country on 11/9. I did mention the bumper issues in a text on 11/9, within the 7-day period. Despite Carvana's claims of high standards, the car's condition did not reflect the price I paid. The car should have been thoroughly repaired by Carvana prior to sale. After returning to the US, I contacted Carvana on 11/29/2024, & was told the issue was not covered. I managed to chat with someone who acknowledged my mention of the bumper issue on 11/9 & promised to file a complaint for me. 12/18/2024 I took the car to Rick's Collision. They noted the car had been in a rear accident, the bumper cover had not been removed or replaced, & there was overspray on various parts. They estimated the repair cost at approximately $3,800. 12/19/2024, I contacted Carvana again. I was told that a "complaint" would not necessarily result in direct contact or resolution & that it was up to SilverRock to approve any repairs. After much back-and-forth with SilverRock, they refused to cover the bumper repair. Given these circumstances, and that the vehicle was misrepresented, I am left with significant repair costs. 1/17/2025 their executive complaint department called and told me I could trade the car back in for the appraised value if I wasn't happy; still wouldn't cover the repair. AVOID this company! Beware of cars that Carvana has stated they have repaired and do not hesitate to return the car if you find something wrong with it. It is not worth the hassle to deal with Silver Rock or Carvana neither of which want to help me out or advocate for me. read more

I sold my car on a Friday. Realized I forgot a bag in the trunk and didn't take my license plate off. I tried to contact the facility and could not find a direct number. I tried to chat now with the robot who didn't understand my concern. It mentioned they would have an agent contact me via email, but they never did. Today upon a massive google search I found an actual number to call thinking it was a direct number to the location where I sold my car, waited a good 10 minutes to speak with someone. Once on the line she couldn't really help me out because she said she was the "internal side of Carvana" and didn't have a direct line to the Glendale location where she could see my car was still listed as sitting there. Seems like a missing piece to the Carvana business puzzle? I also learned I should have take the top portion of my title off and simply mailed into the DMV that was in a different state. How did they not mention that to me? Isn't this what they do everyday? This was my first time selling and handing over a title. The lady who helped inspect my car should have noticed my license plate was still on knowing I needed to take it off. I'm upset I lost valuables in the trunk, which they have to be there somewhere? Did they take it and trash it? Do they donate to Goodwill? Nobody knows. read more

The vehicle was delivered to me, and from day one it had serious engine problems and constant overheating. It was non-operable within 1 hour of having the truck and had to be towed to a mechanic immediately. The car was clearly a lemon that should never have been sold in this condition. When I contacted the Carvana, I received nothing but the runaround. It took them over a week to finally pick up the vehicle, and even then, they failed to report to the lender that it had been returned. Because of their negligence, my credit was damaged, and I was left dealing with the mess they created. This dealership shows zero accountability, poor communication, and the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They do not stand behind their vehicles or value their customers. I would never recommend them--save yourself the headache and go somewhere honest and reputable. RUN CARVANA IS AWFUL!!! Also, no thread on the tires!!!!!! the mechanic told us it needed a new alignment, new gasket, new water pump and tires. they were shocked in the condition it was sold-- beyond unsafe. read more

Purchased a 2019 F150 in April of this year. A few months later dash lights began illuminating. I took it to a mechanic shop for repairs which cost $666.58 and said the rear differential was bad. The shop referred me to a shop to get the rear differential repaired. I contacted Carvana and spoke with Gabe who stated I had no warranty, couldn't trade the vehicle in and unfortunately had to come out of pocket for all repairs. I will never buy a car from Carvana again. They claim they do a 150 point inspection on their cars. That's bull. I drove my car home and immediately noticed that the passenger side low beam head light was burned out. I also noticed that the steering wheel was crooked while I was driving straight. About a week later, I noticed that my front tires were nearly bald so I made an appointment to buy some new tires the next day. That night I looked at the front tires, and they were down to the steel belts. I had to pull off the front tires and take them to get the new tires put on, put them back on the car and drive it down and had the alignment looked at. It was so far out of alignment; the front tires were pigeon toed and wore down to the steel belts in just 10 days of driving. I'm lucky I didn't have a blow out. read more

On May 11, 2024 I bought a 2015 BMW X1 from Carvana VIN #WBAVM1C5XFV319065. I also purchased an 18 month 24,000 mile warranty that covered "Basic mechanical core engine and transmission". I took the car to the shop for engine problems that Carvana's warranty company, Silver Rock, recommended. The shop said the repair would cost $2792.05 to replace failing fuel injectors and a catalytic converter that was damaged by the failing fuel injectors. Silver Rock denied coverage saying that the fine print of the warranty describes the parts of the engine it covers and fuel injectors are not included. My contention is that when selling warranties for engine failure that ALL parts of the engine, including fuel injectors are included. And listing specific parts of the engine covered in the fine print for the purpose of rejecting claims is misleading and in bad faith. read more

I just bought a car from them 2 weeks ago and have learned that the car should not have been sold to me with the tires that were on it as they were old and had low tread so I tried to reach out to them about it since they messed up but since it was out of the "7 day return window" and it passed their supposed requirements they kept pushing it off on their warranty company which most likely won't cover tires based on what their own coverage requirements say so now I get stuck paying for 4 brand new tires on top of the mechanical problems they found wrong as well without any help or acknowledgement of wrong doing from them. So I recommend never buying a car from them. All they care about is getting cars off their lot. read more

Of course they sold me the vehicle without a hitch, but now its been over a month and they are taking their sweet time about completing the registration on my new vehicle. I have an account with MVD and the car has yet to appear on my registration platform with MVD. I've called over and over again to Carvana and they keep giving the same spiel. They are dragging their feet and I'm getting nowhere with them. The other problem is after the MVD gets wind of my registration status it's going to take another month for MVD to process the plates and tags. What a perfect birthday surprise experience for our granddaughter. She was so excited when we pulled into the lot. She loved putting the big coin in the slot and watching the vending machine go up to select the vehicle. She had no idea which car we had purchased for her until it came down and did a "fashion show" in the glass case for her. The souvenir token was a nice touch, as well. The fact that you know exactly what your out the door price will be before you get there was awesome. No haggling is the best and paper signing after we inspected the car was a breeze. I purchased a vehicle from Carvana. I got everything approved (i have proof). Scheduled for delivery between 8:00 a.m. and 11:a.m. on April 2nd. I paid a shipping fee of $1,950.00. I only paid this because I was already approved and ready to go.     On delivery day, the delivery driver (Brandon 412-533-5988) asked me to text him a selfie with my driver's license and my insurance information for the new car.  I completed all tasks as requested.   After information was sent to the driver, I received a canceled transaction notice from Carvana (final decision) and if I wanted to dispute it, I would have to do so through email.  I did this immediately. I also called Carvana and no one would speak to me about this transaction.  The canceled transaction email stated something about fraud and/or unverifiable information sent.   I purchased a vehicle from them back in 2020 and everything went very smoothly.  Now I can't get back my $1,950.00 and no new car. By the way, they sent me the canceled transaction email very shortly after I sent my info to the driver and after the delivery time.  Email was sent at 11:06 a.m. and my delivery of vehicle should have been by 11:000 a.m. that day. I have a call in to my attorney to hopefully resolve this situation.  I'll keep up to date on this issue. read more
