First time buying a vehicle from a car lot and couldn't be happier! The 1st vehicle I test drove…read morehad an issue with acceleration. DD said they would take it to a mechanic and let me test drive it again when it was fixed. That was in February and I believe that vehicle is still in the shop. I don't find DD to be at fault here. Obviously if multiple mechanics can't solve the issue, that's a problem. DD was unaware of the acceleration issue, and I don't fault them for that either, because I had been driving it for a good 30 minutes before the problem manifested. Meanwhile, my van was falling apart and in March, I explained to DD that I needed to keep looking for other vehicles before my van completely bit the dust. They offered me a loaner vehicle, which was amazing! I drove it for about a month, then DD called me asking to switch to a different loaner vehicle because someone was interested in the loaner I was currently driving. DD was originally going to drive the new loaner all the way from Tucson to Bisbee to switch out the vehicles. The call was on a Wednesday, and I happened to have an appointment in Tucson on Friday so I agreed to drive the vehicle to them. Lo & behold, a very similar vehicle to the original one I was interested in had been traded in on Wednesday or Thursday. DD gave this vehicle to me as a loaner, even though they were planning on giving me a different vehicle. I drove it around Tucson, and decided I would buy it! However, I didn't have all of the funds on that Friday to purchase it. DD allowed me to drive it home on April 10th and I wasn't able to secure the funds until the last week of April to officially buy it. They were completely fine with that. I've had the vehicle checked out by a professional mechanic and the only thing this vehicle needed was an alignment. I'm so happy I now have a reliable vehicle! I feel the price was good, and they even allowed me to trade in my van for $500 which was extremely generous considering it had so many problems. My main contact was HD, and I found him to be very warm and accommodating. I've also met most of the staff there and they were all friendly & helpful. As a woman that isn't a mechanic or very knowledgeable about vehicles in general, it's a valid concern that I could get fleeced. All of the staff members I met at DD are men, but I never felt like I was being manipulated or lied to in order to make a sale. I highly recommend Desert Diamond Motors. I'm certain my vehicle is going to last for the next 10-20 years. (Diesel baby!) But if I am still living in this area, and need to buy another vehicle, I will 100% call up Desert Diamond Motors.

We recently bought our first RV from La Mesa / RecVan in Tucson and had a great experience all…read morearound. La Mesa RV salesman Terry Oresman helped us through the process, and we really appreciated how he listened to what we wanted and took the time to show us different options without any pressure. He explained everything clearly, which made our choice an educated one as first-time RV owners. We ended up going with the 2026 Entegra Odyssey 25R, and it has been a great fit for what we were looking for. Leslie Martin, the finance manager, was also great to work with (extremely organized). She became our advocate as she walked us through our financing, options for insurance, RV care, and maintenance going forward. Overall, the whole experience felt comfortable and straightforward. We would definitely recommend Terry, Leslie, and the entire team at La Mesa RV in Tucson to anyone looking to buy an RV.

Also your staff would not ID the business owner and I could not find the business license anywhere on the properties. I asked to speak with a Dealer gen manager and the just left me on hold. AGAIN FOLKS they still will not take my calls nor pass me to any manager or GENERAL MANAGEMENT. They all hid from me and I could make a list but I see that YELP is now allowing these guys to even change the name of the business to avoid direct bad reviews. I'm working ON getting in touch with the Az DMV. I think. Any way. The fact they you hide your last name is another proving my case. Coward.

First experiences with them was back in 2018 when I got a new Soul. Their waiting area was nice,…read morebut they have improved it further since then with quite nice seats (only wish they had a few recliners for naps/back issues. Their culture, as I remember it, was one of positive energy, attentiveness (not just to customer "kissassery" but to the processes like getting the paperwork right, back checking TSB and recall info each time you get even a simple service done. Now, I used to be a mechanic, and as a former mechanic, here is my take on the service department in three crucial areas: 1. Upsell. I used to work for Quebeceaux GM and Quebeceaux, Mitsubishi, and (yeas ago, but if the news recently has been any indication then it sounds like Quebedeaux's dealerships have only slithered even further into unethical up-selling and your average stealership high pressure sales/service) and I have yet to even be told about some convoluted "recommended service - of any system, let alone one that a blind mouse could see is 100%. You know, like those service shops that come at you with a 6-month quote for 15 different fluid changes, inspections, and maintenance predictions? Yeah, they don't pull that crap at Royal. Not with my Soul back then, and not with my 2024 Niro EX Premium now. 2. No fake smiles or awkward pandering vibes. While, I am sure, there may be a degree of behavioral modification to oblige the professional culture/vibes Royal management/corporate is going for... It doesn't FEEL A the same as most places. I am not trying to say it is some polar opposite utopia ... Just... That it feels like the same culture being used towards CUSTOMERS is being applied to their sales and service people. Like... They are obviously expected to be professional and courteous... But I don't feel the awkward, over the top synthetic pleasantries from anyone there. You know... That.... 'Held at gunpoint' kind of customer service. That, robotic smile insincerity stuff. Maybe that is just my ADhD/Spectrum brain-stuff making me more sensitive to those "can't quite put my finger on it" voodoo vibes in the social atmosphere. Anyway, I like the environment there and feel comfortable being away from the safety and sanity of my house when at Royal Kia - seriously... I am not big on going places because society is unhinged and uneducated as hell these days. 3. No comebacks. Not just for service-related SNAFUs, but for those sloppy things other places do. Take for example, my parents have a RIDICULOUSLY expensive PHEV from some Mazda dealership on the east side of Tucson. It recently had a warranty service done for a CEL. All that was pretty routine and no big deal, just a random fluke issue that was completely minor and written off in the end as likely caused by a minor computer bug, since all testing of the car proved everything was running properly. Anyway... With that said, you would think that it would mostly be diagnostic, OBDii connector and test driving type stuff, right? Hardly any reason for anyone to get greasy, grimy, sticky-targum muck all over the hood or something, right? And ... Surely... With the chill diagnostic circumstances, surely they would not have been rushed or hectic enough to have those at excuses for NOT wiping their gunk off the paint/plastic, yeah? No. I was about to ceramic coat it for my parents last week and I had to reschedule because it took me an extra HOUR just for the washing/detailing stuff I had to do - ON A STILL NEW, HIGH END MAZDA LUXURY PHEV SUV! With that said, I have NEVER had anything but a freshly washed, gunk free vehicle returned to me. And, on this one in particular, I KNOW they treat vehicles with respect to cleanliness - since I have custom cream white and greystone leather seat covers. No way in heck some greasy fingered mechanic is getting in my car without leaving grimy evidence on THAT kind of material. So, maybe they use a service valet to move the cars? I dunno, but whatever they do, they respect your vehicle - even in the secret lair of the mechanics. Overall, me likey.
