My son who is active duty military bought a car here in Dec 2024 for 14k, no warranty and it stopped working within 6 months. He did not listen to us, we told him not to buy from here. He still has not received the title, he is pcsing and the car is sitting in the barracks garage, unable to move. He had a mechanic diagnose it and it needs an engine replacement. So we're looking at 20k. He can't get rid of it because he has no title. What a bunch of predators these people are. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! And look at this scammy paperwork. 1-Star Review -- Buyer Beware This has been the worst car-buying experience I've ever had, and I've purchased dozens of cars from dealerships of all sizes. I bought a vehicle from Carzlane on 10/10/2025, and from that moment forward it has been nothing but frustration, delays, and broken promises. One of the managers, Naim, promised that a few items would be fixed so the car could pass inspection--most importantly, the check engine light, which was already on at the time of purchase. I was told it would take a day or two. Instead, it took two weeks, yet they had no problem cashing my check the very next day. When I finally received the car, none of the promised repairs were completed. The check engine light came back on immediately. I contacted them, and they told me to bring it to their mechanic--another two-week wait. I picked up the car again... and once again, the check engine light returned. At that point, they told me to take it to another mechanic an hour and a half away. When I asked if they could help transport the vehicle, they refused completely. To make things worse, they never titled the car, and here I am two months later, still waiting. Now when I call, they tell me to "file a complaint" and that they'll "pass it along." This is a small dealership acting like a giant multi-location chain, but without any of the customer service. They don't return calls, they leave you on hold, and they treat these issues as if they're totally normal. Overall: a terrible experience. Buyer beware. What I thought was going to be a good car buying experience turned out to be one of my worst. First when I was considering buying a car from this dealer the wouldn't stop calling me. After I bought the cars then the problems begun both with follow up customer service and vehicle problems. One of the cars was leaking coolant fluid after a week. When I called about it I was never called back until I went to the dealership. I was referred to their service partner Ron's Automotive who blamed me for causing the issue by scraping the bottom of the vehicle on the curb. Doesn't make sense. I was still within my warranty and they said they will only pay $500 for a $1200 job. Then our other car came up with a check engine light. It was a fuel module issue. Again they blamed me for it saying I was putting gas in the car with the vehicle running. Another "doesn't make sense" situation. They wanted to charge me for the fix but after making noise they made me pay for the part which they bought on eBay. When I went to pick the car they wanted me to pay $440 for the repair and I told them that was not going to happen. Then Carzlane was supposed to make me a key for my car. They gave me the runaround for weeks before finally getting to it and only because I followed through. I was kept on hold so many time and never called back. I had to pay $75 as part of the key payment for a key they said they will cover. Now my car is showing another check engine light. I would not recommend this dealer at all. Do not buy a vehicle from this business my daughter and I went there to purchase a vehicle from out of state. They gave us an up charge of a vehicle that we did not come there to look for. They told us that the original vehicle was sold. They then tried to charge extra money into us buying something else and then convince my daughter to give them a $200 deposit to hold for a car we didn't go back for. We end up going someplace else and buying-a car. We contact them numerous times by phone and email about refunding us our money and they never did, They said they were gonna put in the mail never mailed her payment after we paid them by debit, NOW we have to file a small claims court case to just get our money back. Carzlane 1 star review: I would leave 0 stars if that was possible. I'm sure the only people who give this place good reviews are lucky that their used car had no problems at the time of sale. Otherwise you will experience the worst possible customer service and communication. Read on. The first issue we had was the fact that this shady dealer included thousands in fees that you would miss without reading the fine print (about $5000 over the advertised car cost). We made the mistake of purchasing a car with a check engine light on with a manager promising to fix it "even if we have to replace the engine". After three tries in over a week their repair shop could not fix the problem that our local repair shop was able to diagnose in a single morning. On the second repair attempt they offered to drop the car off to me at my work which was close by (would have been a nice gesture), however, when the check engine light went back on during the delivery attempt, the driver turned around and went back with no attempt to get in touch with me - literally leaving me waiting outside for a car that was never coming. Three times, it was supposedly "fixed" by their repair shop, with the check engine light returning before we even made it home. On the sale day which had us stuck in their office for hours, we left quickly and didn't grab our folder of signed paperwork. It took a week of multiple attempts to get them to understand that we were asking for them, and then at least another week before we found out that they shredded the papers without retaining a copy, which is unheard of in any business. Of course included in the papers is the promise to fix the check engine light. They included a fee of over $2000 for a certification safety inspection that missed a glaring violation - the windshield washer reservoir was ripped in half from an accident the car had been in. Even the basic MD state inspection would have required this be repaired if their auto shop was actually capable of doing decent inspections/repairs. The combined cost to fix this and the issues with the check engine light will be thousands. Four attempts were made to speak to one of their two managers for compensation, but only managed to speak to a manager on one occasion with no resolution. Despite the promise of return calls to discuss compensation, No manager there EVER returned a call or email at any point for anything. STAY AWAY!!! read more

**Do NOT Buy a Vehicle from This Dealership!** I had a terrible experience with them. After purchasing a car, they claimed they installed a new battery, but within a month it shut off--not once, but twice. When I reached out about the issue, I was told to bring the car back. I called roadside assistance on two occasions, and they confirmed that the battery was faulty. When I returned to the dealership, they directed me to a mechanic in the back. He checked under the hood and insisted that the battery was new, but I insisted there was something wrong with it. The mechanic suggested I purchase a new battery at AutoZone. I refused to pay for anything and asked to speak with the manager. When I returned, Mr. Calvin, who seemed somewhat dismissive, said they would inspect the car and asked me to leave it there, promising to call me in an hour. After five to six hours without a call, I returned, and he told me there was nothing they could do because the battery was new. I pointed out that no one at the dealership had actually tested the battery, yet they suggested there could be another issue, possibly with the alternator. Mr. Calvin's attitude continued to be unhelpful, and he just said, "Nothing I can do. Merry Christmas." Frustrated, I went to AutoZone, and guess what? The battery they put in was the wrong one! Now, I am planning to contact the Inspector General about this dealership and will be pursuing legal action to recover my money since Mr. Calvin seems to find this situation amusing. read more

After my atrocious experience and the reviews herewith, I am going to ask the Attorney General's Office to step-in for a closer inspection of this business. Last month, I drove nearly 2-hours to inspect a vehicle that was of interest to me. To my shock and dismay, when I arrived the vehicle wasn't even for sale. I pray the young woman Amanda no longer works there because she was literally the only one that truly cared about my experience. Amanda's sincere empathy and professional demeanor is to be commended indeed. For anyone reading this review. Please note that the reason dealerships such as Carz Lane get away with screwing customers over, is simply because customers are not aware that there are STRICT laws in place, which protect them. I command anyone that paid a deposit and never received a refund to contact me. I will not charge you to get a refund. Not only are they breaking the law but they can also have their license suspended and even revoked for not practicing ethical standards. There are hefty fines too! Maryland enacted a law in 2015, which enforces the so call "Yo Yo" financing or spot delivery. The dealership has only 4-days by which to obtain financing or you simply return the vehicle. The dealership cannot charge rental fees or refuse to refund deposits, If finance cannot be obtained or the deal falls through, by Maryland law they MUST notify you within the 4-day window. The owner is a very pretentious arrogant man. I am appalled that places such as this circus show exist. Please beware of this place and contact me for help if you are having any issues. I don't usually leave reviews for sales people but my experience was really smooth. I found a car on Facebook that I liked and text what I thought was a person. When I arrived at the dealership I was approached by a sales person who knew the car I was there for. I wanted to pay cash for the car but ended up financing at a pretty good rate. The sales person wanted me to go with another car but I ended up with the one I came in for. He was pretty fun and very informative. Overall it was a good experience. This place has the worst customer service I have seen ever. My first visit I was waiting for my previous loan to be closed but when I came to view a car I was told I could not view the car I wanted to see unless they knew I was buying it. I visited again a few weeks later once my loan was finalized and was told the cars I wanted to view was unavailable. Although I called a hour before my visit and was told they were available. Then they showed me another car and once you get the loan documents the prices are not what was shown the first time. I had to resign the documents like 2 times because the documents did not match what the salesperson said and I said something about it. Once I picked my truck up and drove it for about 5 minutes, sensors popped up and the truck had 0% oil. I took it to get a oil change and was told it had a oil leak from the gasket. I immediately called Carzlane back and was told to bring it to there mechanic and there mechanic says it is no oil leak. I get home and park the car and the next morning the oil is on the floor. When I called regarding these issues and the broken outlet they agreed to fix, they always said they was waiting for a manager and would call back with a update but never called back. 2 months went by and my temp tags expired. When I went up there 9/4, everyone was confused. I was told to go to the MVA and I had to pay at the MVA. I was told Carzlane would refund me since I paid them $323. After 2 weeks, AMAR couldn't give a update and was always confused. I am not sure if he is naturally confused all the time or playing. Then when I called and asked, he gets frustrated from doing his job and says "now you're not getting shit" and hung up. Buyers beware. The "mechanic" at this place is a fictional character. Salespeople are relentless to get us onsite but they share links showing vehicles that aren't onsite and can't be brought to their lot, in other words, the cars they are selling don't exist either. They insisted we need to get over there to secure a vehicle we wanted, but when we got there the "didn't actually have it." We had made the trek to the lot and were pushed to buy one vehicle that wouldn't start, one vehicle at double our budget max, and another vehicle that didn't meet any of our criteria. To add insult to injury, the sales protocol appears to be that when we realized the whole operation is questionable, the salespeople talked to us like we were unreasonable. Here's reasonable: show us cars you have on your lot and be up front about pricing and specs. You're a vendor, we're consumers who want to do business. Business requires facts. read more

Had an appointment to drive a car and when I got there they told me that the car was sold.

This dealership is deliberately advertising false prices on their websites, luring people in, and attempting to beef up their profits by adding unnecessary fees as well as conspiring with third party warranty providers as kickbacks. From the onset, they were eager to sell a car that turned out not to be ready for sale. They advertised for a price lower than market price, then tack on miscellaneous fees to bring the car back up to market price during the sale. Additionally they stress the need for a lifetime warranty of 3200 to increase the purchase price of the vehicle. The result is a huge difference in what is advertised vs what is the sale price shoots it up to an additional 7k. I made an 8k cash deposit and entered into a contract, which explicitly stated the dealership would fulfill the repair of several items outlined as a condition of purchasing the vehicle. To anyone who does proceed with purchasing from here make sure that We Owe You document is explicit on what they have to fix or they will try to play you. No exaggeration it took one month to take possession of the vehicle and have the issues addressed after negotiating an agreement. The customer service was piss poor. I had to chase down several salesmen via phone to find out a status, visit the dealership in person on several occasions just to ensure any progress on fulfilling their end of the bargain, . The last blow was me sending a certified demand letter and threatening to sue to be taken seriously. A miraculous 48 hour turn around soon followed. Due to their failure to fulfill the terms, I initially requested a cancellation of the contract. I Was given a range of roadblocks such as an inability to cut me a check for a refund of my deposit to it "taking time" to reimburse the bank for the loan and the title taking time to be mailed/returned as a necessary requirement. So at this point, they roped me into a loan, on my credit, with upcoming loan and car insurance payments, with no vehicle. With my back against the wall (having been with no car for several months) I ended up accepting the vehicle to avoid prolonging this transaction any further. To this day is still smells like cigarettes. I urge everyone to Avoid this dealership as They are engaging in unethical business practices. Save yourself the headache of the shenanigans. If you do proceed, proceed with caution. The only reliable individual there is Mr. Lamont. As for the manager Sayem, he is a patronizing condescending piece of work. In 2023 he pacified my complaints by calling me "love" when I'm a grown ass professional woman barred in the state of Maryland. Deal was made then the bank didn't approve of the deal they gave us. So I became frustrated still professional and patient as I could be. We drove the car off the lot just to get this notice of non approval of an APR . The APR went up no problem. I'm calling to see the outcome and I began to realize they weren't as nice as they were in the beginning. I had to GCheck one of the partners and he hung up on me. I visited Carzlane about the end of January to purchase a vehicle I saw advertised on CarGurus which was a 2021 Nissan Kicks(on the lot) I was told that I could not get approved for that vehicle then I was showed a 2017 Acura RDX(vehicle not on lot, vehicle on sister lot) I was approved for this vehicle did the paperwork on it and I did not put any money down which was asking price 3500. The vehicle is not on the lot, I never took possession of the vehicle and no money down. I was told by the salesman which was Mike and he told me to tell the financing company which was Westlake Financial to tell them I did put a down payment down. So after I went home and thought about it I called that following Monday to let the dealership know I changed mind and did not want to purchase the vehicle so I was then told to talk to the manager by the name of Ahmad. So we spoke and he threatened court saying I already did the paperwork. Fast forward to about two months later I spoke with Ahmad again to let him know that he needs to send a cancellation of the loan to the finance company. I explained that the finance company is now calling asking for a payment. I advised the finance what was going on and they keep telling me to reach out to the dealership. Now Ahmad is telling me once again we have to go through court but also says he hasn't filed a complaint against me because the dealership already got paid and he is not sending a cancellation of the loan and I can't change my mind about purchasing the vehicle. I explained to him in the state of Maryland I have 30 days to change mind about purchasing a car. So now I am not getting anywhere with getting help with this situation. Beware of this company! They use fake inspections (Sunoco gas station down the street). I bought the car for my 16-year-old on November 13. I drove off the lot and the same day the engine light came on. I (not them) had to figure out what was wrong with it. They did, however, order the part and replace it. Then I went to pump gas, and it wouldn't allow gas to be pumped correctly. It would keep clicking off and wouldn't take gas. So, I was given a run around and had to go there 3 times before this problem was fixed. Once I sat there sick for 4 hours being told by Vernon and Lamar that it was in the process of being worked on. So, I went next door after seeing the car sitting in the lot thinking it was done and was told they hadn't even looked at it. I sat there for four hours for nothing after being told lies. Then I left it there because I had two inspections from other dealerships and found that the rack and pinion with the steering was almost completely broken. It needed to be replaced. This is illegal to sell unsafe cars that have this problem per Maryland law....Md Code 11.14.02.02. I had to threaten them to take them to court if this was not fixed. (Oh, and I had to call Geico to get a jump to take it in that time because the car battery was bad. It sold bad). It is now January 15th, and I still don't have my car. I keep getting lied to by Lamar who has made many promises of making this right and it hasn't been. I asked Lamar to speak to Sayam Abbasi, who is the owner and he told me "He won't speak to any irate customer". Then as I told him, maybe he will speak to my lawyer. Who knows if this dealer's owner is even aware of what his sales staff is doing? This car dealership needs to be shut down. From November 13 to January 15th my son has just gotten his learners and has not been able to drive his car, and I am paying for a car I don't even have.
