I love their pizza. Their service on Saturday night, by the man who runs the place at that time, was appalling. I got there to pick up my Toast order, and the man said he didnt have it, Imust have called the wrong place, I dont know what to tell you ect., and I didnt have an order number. I went home, got my I pad, order was in, and there was no number on order. I called, he continued but took my pizza order, and I brought my I pad and showed him order.He made a new order, and told me I would be paying for both, One would be on credit.!/I will take this up with my Bank and Toast, and the owner I don't think he would talk to a man that way, insulting, never apologized..... We've gotten takeout pizza and meatball subs numerous times from Casa Bella in Medfield, Mass. The pizza is very close to delicious NY cheese pizza with just the right amount of herbs & garlic. Yes, you can fold the slices! The meatball sub is very flavorful with no scrimping on meatballs and the sauce is great! Employees are very nice and orders are ready when they say they'll be. I've passed this place dozens of times on my way into Dedham and have always wanted to try it. Finally made the stop and the one thing that comes to my mind to describe it is "meh". Maybe that makes me a food snob but I thought the food was just okay. It was one step up from a papa Gino's. I got the cheese ravioli which was described on the board as cheese ravioli with pasta and sauce. It was ravioli with sauce. It came with a side salad and garlic bread which made it better. If the ravioli came on it's own, it would have really been a let down for almost $10. The water that mixes with the soda syrup in the soda machine tastes like sewer. This made my $2 medium soda a bust and a waste of money. The workers were not overly friendly. The lady next to me looked like she had a decent steak and cheese sub. Your pizza is not as good as Casa Bella...I moved away and was so excited to show my wife what great pizza,. We used to order from here all the time for work. The Greek salad with grilled chicken was so good but not nay more. They hardly give you the veggies chopped up like before...ADN we ordered chicken cutlet subs and the chicken in both subs was all breaded no meat and burnt. Obviously the person who makes them saw that it was nasty and burnt and made the sandwich anyways and then delivered ot our office. SOOOOO disappointed. This is not brick oven pizza. Its not even good pizza. I tried this place for the first time this past weekend. Ordered online to pick up, showed up an hour later and it was still not ready. The store seemed understaffed, and it had a bad setup as the one person at the counter had to go to the back to get each order. There were several people waiting and all pretty frustrated. There's very loud radio playing, giving it a pizza joint vibe rather than a pizza restaurant... it's kind of a quick grab and go spot rather than a place to enjoy. WOW! How rude is the person answering their phone. Not only did I place my order online more than 1hr 15mins ago, but when I tried to call the line continuously went to voicemail. Finally, after waiting this long, I called again and got a person. A miserable, awful person. She told me there was "nothing she can do" and she "just answers the phone" and will get my order out "when they can". Then she hung up... No matter how good the food is, I wouldn't order or go here ever again based on that interaction alone. MANAGEMENT SHOULD FIRE THIS PERSON IMMEDIATELY... Delicious dough- went with my dad who is a tough pizza critic and he raved about it. Really quick service and really friendly staff.

He says: I'm a huge fan of this pizza place, it's one of my favorites. I may be biased, as it is my old neighborhood pizza joint- but I love the pizza from Casabella. There are three things I like about pizza from there: tasty tomato sauce, good crust, and fresh toppings. The sauce always is a highlight. Unlike most places where it is bland, tastes bad, or is nonexistent, they usually do very well with the sauce here. I think there is some tiny bits of fresh garlic and basil involved. I also have generally been quite happy with the amount of sauce, so maybe Pam had an off night? While the amount varies, I've found it to range between a bit too little and a bit too much but generally just about right. The toppings are also usually very good, and they have a good variety and let you split toppings half and half on a pizza (i.e. one half ham, one half bacon) without surcharge. The crust ranges from okay to excellent, and I'd classify it as medium thickness (0.75 cm, give or take 0.25 cm). This is one thing that depends a lot on who is on duty manning the oven, however. When their best guys are on duty, you end up with a crust that's very crispy on the bottom, with some crunch, and softer as you go up. To me, that's ideal. Sometimes on an off day though, it's clear there's somebody a little greener learning the ropes and you end up with a crust that lacks that crisp bottom. I would estimate I'd probably shared easily a couple hundred Casabella pizza's and I'm still always looking forward to coming back. Especially since I'm in Philly, and even going to a pricey place like Pietro's Coal Oven Pizza I still don't get as good of a meal. The one knock on this place always used to be that it didn't deliver, but it does that now so I probably will never eat pizza from anywhere else in this area again. read more

This is a good pizza place in Medfield, a bit more expensive than the others. I think the pizza dough has a nice flavor and the sauce, when you get it, has an intense taste. My problems have been this: last time we ordered (last Sunday) the dough had less flavor than usual and we got no sauce or hardly any. Sauce is my favorite, but I must be in the minority here because I'm seeing less and less of it at all pizza places. The food here is really good. The chicken tenders are hot and crispy when you get them and their pizza is sooooo delicious. It's really nice inside and they have plenty of seating. They even have cards that have questions on them to asks your friends while you enjoy your food. The people at the register are really nice. Been using this place for pizza and salad for almost a year. Loyal delivery customer. But it can take 45 mins to 1 hour and 45 mins for delivery. They have gone downhill every time. People on the phone are rude. Tonight was our last time. We have probably ordered every week for pizza and movie night at least 42 weeks. They were over an hour late, no call! So I called and he promised to call us back. Nope, didn't call back. They lost a good tipping customer today. Sherborn beware. They didn't even offer a refund when I called. So we canceled. This pizza is absolutely fantastic! I've been in the rut of ordering from the same-old places in my town, Westwood, for the last 15 years because I used to live on the complete opposite side of town. Since moving closer to Medfield, I never bothered to try to pizza joints there. Boy was that a mistake! The crust is the best crust around with the most flavorful tomato sauce of any pizzeria this side of the North End. The meatball pizza is outrageously good: each slice of meatball is practically a meal in and of itself. I can't wait to order a meatball sub from there if the pizza topping is any indication of the quality of the sandwich. Delivery is always prompt and service always with a smile. I don't even want to give 1star. we ordered a wrap and a appetizer. when we opened the bag, a fly flew out. Ok, this kind of thing might happen. But when I opened my wrap, (which came as a sub) 2 flies flew out. When I called, the kids who answered, never apologized and said "did you take a picture". How the hell are you going to take a picture of flies flying out when your not expecting it. Never tried to resolve the issue. They use really good ingredients, and the sauce is delicious, a very distinctive flavor. The pizzas come in several sizes, not just small medium large, so be careful you don't end up with a bigger pizza than you wanted. Maybe a little bit pricier than the neighboring pizza joints, but worth it. read more

First time eating here. Food is good. The Buffalo Chicken Rolls are fantastic. It's like buffalo chicken dip in a calzone. Can't stop eating them. The Mac and cheese bites are just ok. Probably won't get them again. The salads are good. The pizza is very good. They did mess up my toppings, but still very good. The chicken finger plate and fries are ok. Frozen chicken. The fries are the crispy battered fries, which I'm not a fan off. All around good place and we'll go back. I recommend it. read more
