Many Italian restaurants in the Naples /Fort Meyers's area. The variety of Mediterranean and Italian on the menu was appealing when booking the restaurant reservations. Located in a strip mall, parking was very easy. When entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly host and seated promptly. Our server came with in 5 min to bring us water and take our drink order. Great wine selection and cocktails to choose from. I ordered the white sangria. The drink looked fabulous but extremely too sweet for my tastes- think they added way to much fruit juices ( corn syrup ) and no small pieces fruit .white wine sweet by itself- could only drink half. I'll stick to wine or Prosecco next time. Appetizers- we shared fried calamari. Perfectly cooked and battered. Not chewy. Salad- spinach with figs, nice balsamic but added canned tangerines- maybe fresh tangerines or blood oranges would be a better accompaniment. Canned fruit was not expected in a finer dining place. Main course: Pork chop- with cous cous . My dinner mate said it was tender and delicious. seasoned with Mediterranean spices . Cous cous perfectly cooked. 5 stars per my dinner mate. Lamb tangine - severe grout the tangine to the table and removed the top- tender slices of lamb with onions maybe raisins in a delicious sauce - my other dinner mate loved the savory and sweet tastes. 5 stars Clams and linguine- lots of clams, and a nice portion of pasta cooked perfectly. The clams were very smelly which was a red flag. The white wine sauce was bland. I could barely taste white wine and little presence of garlic which usually makes this dish outstanding. Disappointed - below average taste but gave to 3 stars mainly for the nice potion Side of sautéed spinach - cooked perfectly with slices of garlic Too stuffed for desert. Decor: elegant traditional Mediterranean colors - nice atmosphere - not too loud Overall a nice restaurant- will come back and order wine, and the Mediterranean meat dishes. Maybe stay away from the traditional Italian.

So we had gone to Bistro 41 a few weeks ago and the owner said he was mentored by the owner of Figs. So we decided to check this place out. It's super busy. Great outdoor patio and expansive indoor dining and bar area. The owners are on the floor serving and interacting with customers. Food is a blend of Italian and Middle Eastern. Great wine and cocktails to choose from. I got a lamb shish kabob plate and the figs salad with pistachios, oranges, dates on a bed of fresh spinach with balsamic. Food is fresh and delicious. Our service by Sam, the owner was perfection. Every aspect of our evening was amazing. They also have an extensive array of desserts should you save room. Really just a great restaurant you need to enjoy and experience.

Finally got back here after thinking about the Seafood Tagine throughout the pandemic and it did not disappoint! I love this bright, clean, airy restaurant because all of its dishes are packed with flavor. Although I have to have my seafood tagine, I also want to try new things, so on this particular visit we ordered the Spinach Orange Fig Salad to share among the three of us and I am SO happy we did! The tender baby spinach, bright mandarin oranges, perfectly ripe figs and yummy vinaigrette made a perfect big salad to share and I highly recommend it. My SIL ordered the Shrimp Scampi; the shrimps were perfectly cooked and tender and the pasta was fresh in a side dish with delicious marinara sauce. Brother had the ravioli special, cooked in a delicious, creamy sauce. Service is five star, food is five star, atmosphere is warm and inviting. Make a point to try it!

The dining area is well appointed and refined. The outdoor area is certainly more informal but the food tastes as good. Had the Melanzana (baked) eggplant, ricotta and mozzarella in fresh t'imitons sauce was delicious. Thé crème brûlée was the traditional custard with homemade figs confit and a crisp sugar glaze. The service provided by Dimitri was excellent and the chef s flair is felt on every bite.

When we pulled up to the parking lot we had no idea that Figs Grille was a fantastic Italian restaurant. The food was fresh, plentiful and very tasty. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was indeed superb. I had the Chilean Sea Bass Special and my husband had the Veal Parmigiana which were both hits. My husband never has leftovers, but there was so much food, we did have to get a to go bag. We can't wait to dive into the leftovers.

Great restaurant with wonderful food and competent service. We were there again this evening with a group. Everyone at our table were very happy with there meals. My wife and I shared a Fig's salad to start. It is always good. I had the seafood tagine. Great flavor and a lot of seafood. My wife had the delicious linguine Mare E with shrimp and scallops. We always enjoy coming here for the food ambiance and service.

We came here on a Saturday night for dinner. It's in a strip mall and they have indoor and outdoor seating. Outside appears more casual while the inside has a more upscale vibe. We were seated right away when Carlos came up to us and handed us the wine and drink list. He gave us a moment to look at the menu and then he came to tell us what the specials were and he started with a Chilean Seabass which is my all-time favorite. I didn't even bother looking at the menu anymore I was getting the Chilean sea bass. He had to walk away for a moment then then he came back and he finished the specials which included lamb shank osso bocu. Another fave. I went with the lamb shank Osso Buco and my husband went with the veal scallopini Pizzaiola The lamb shank was cooked perfectly and was falling off of the bone it was so delicious. It was served with a Parmesan orzo which was also very good. My husbands had three pieces of veal scallopini which he said he didn't even need to use a knife he was able to cut it with his fork. He also had zucchini and I'm not sure what the other item was but he said it tasted very good. I thought their prices were very fair and the food was delicious. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was their bread. It was not warm and they served it with what I'm assuming is a fig type of olive oil.

    Is it really byob?

I seriously doubt it. Our server kept asking us if we want to order wine. Most tables nearby were ordering bottles or glasses of wine.

Do they have a lunch menu?

They are not open for lunch, only dinner.

The drinks, while a bit pricey for some of the options, were on point as well. The service was just OK - they were not at capacity by far and we had to wait quite a bit to order another round of drinks or pay the bill. The negative experience - apparently they do not clean the chairs. Please check before you sit down. My new dress is basically going into the trash because I sat in a pool of olive oil or who knows what else someone decided to wipe on that chair and the entire back side of my dress is one huge greasy stain!! Thank goodness the restaurant is located in a mall and I was able to go to a store to purchase a new outfit. We made our server aware of the situation but all we got was a quick apology and no other effort to make things right. Overall, just disappointed in how they handled this situation. I walked out of the place in a bad mood, lost a beautiful new dress and had to spend another $70 on a fresh outfit - sorry the food was good and all but not worth this aggravation.

An open kitchen concept that is bright and roomy. Not my favorite decor in the world but extremely nice service! I craving something fresh & healthy after a holiday bonanza of food - we decided on Mediterranean cuisine and knowing Amfora is consistently delicious, we landed here! Their Grand Mezze platter offers creamy greek cheeses, hummus, baba ghnoush, and marinated peppers and olives. Really great offering! Then we split the Beet Salad with poppyseeds, walnuts, goat cheese, and pomegranate dressing - YUM! The blue crab gnocchi with saffron sauce was to die for (although I didn't understand the corn in there!) They even provided a scrumptious, decadent piece of their homemade tiramisu for my bday dessert - CHEERS TO 29 (again)

Naples, FL WOW!!!! We agreed that this is our favorite…read moredinner of the trip...and we've had some good ones! The decor sets you in a little slice of Greece and is simple yet elegant. First off..Emily and Alex greeted us like family when we got there and made us feel welcome (the Saganaki was amazing, the best we've ever had...thank you!). We began with an appetizer called Dolmades, which we have had before at another Greek restaurant, these were in a totally different ballpark though with a Lemanto sauce that was out of this world delicious, and Dolmades are hand rolled grape leaves filled with a beef and rice mixture and covered with the Lemanto sauce (a tangy egg/lemon sauce)...as amazing as these were I knew we were in for a great night! Emily and Alex then sent out a Saganaki for us to enjoy and get the chance to yell "Opa!" The Saganaki is (and this is straight from the menu cause I actually had no idea) an Imported Kefalograviera Cheese (goat and sheep milk) that is flambeed table side and everyone celebrates by yelling "OPA!" when it gets lit....also, the best we've ever had! Terri ordered the Chicken Souvlakia. For those who ask "What's that?" I'll tell you....It's Chicken marinated in Greek seasonings, skewered and char-broiled and comes with pita and a creamy Greek dressing for dipping, and a side of lemon roasted oregano potatoes. She said everything was amazing and she even tried (and liked) the creamy Greek dressing! If you know Terri, "if its not Thousand Island get it away from me" is the norm...so this shocked me. I ordered the Lamb Shank, which is something I have never had before...I've heard that Lamb can be " gamey" so it's generally something I'll shy away from. But watching the episode of TripleD where they featured this dish I was confident that these folks know what they're doing with a Lamb Shank..and am I ever glad that I did...their preparation for this dish pretty much ensures that the gamieness that you may expect isn't going to be a problem. They slowly braise it with vegetables, red wine, and other fresh herbs...the result is a beef so tender that it literally is fall off the bone! It reminds me of a roast my Grandma used to make but a richer and more depth of flavor beef. It was simply amazing! It's served over a bed of Mykonos style orzo (a Greek style of pasta cooked risotto style with a tomato base that at first glance looks like rice but its a pasta)...then they finish it with lamb gravy and parmesan. And it is fantastic!!!!! Thank you to Emily, Alex and their entire team that really treated us like we'd known them for years...we didn't find out about Mykonos Kuzina until we were headed back home from vacation last year and were totally bummed that we'd missed out on getting to their place. From the day we got home last year I started planning on stopping by their place ... it was the first place on my list of stops we had to make. Sometimes you get an idea or concept in your mind and you make expectations that cannot be met...I was a bit nervous that maybe I had done that myself here but I'm happy to say that Mykonos Kuzina, Emily and Alex and their entire team not only met but exceeded my expectations....Thank You!
