Large salad but i cleaned the plate. Enjoyed the vegetable tagine. Server Gil said the restaurant is known for its tagines and that they're popular. Delicious combo of mushrooms, white beans, peas, onions in lemon-infused tomato sauce. Creme brulee was excellent. Reservations a must in this very popular restaurant. Two years in a row now, we have wrapped up our Florida Christmas holidays with New Year's Eve dinner at Figs Grille. We chose an early reservation as we had an early flight on New Year's Day. Always nice to be greeted by the owner. I could tell he was well prepared for a busy evening with many extra servers. We began our meal with the soup special: wild mushroom. Very earthy. Delicious. The entree specials sounded enticing, especially the sea bass but my heart was already set on the shrimp kabob which I had last year. DH opted for the lamb tangine. He found it quite tasty but it could have been more tender. I am guessing our server, Adriatic, was not a regular. At least he seemed unsure on a few things. His biggest misstep was that he poured the entire split into my glass. I didn't have a chance to stay STOP before the sparkling wine was at the top of the rim and overflowing onto the tablecloth. His solution was to bring me a small bar straw for sipping! I was aghast. Not worth causing a scene on a busy night, but a good server IMO would have offered another split or taken it off the bill. All in all a good way to wrap up 2024. However, on our next visit to Figs, we will aim for a regular evening, not a holiday. read more

Place is overrated for the amount they charge. The ambience was OK. Waiters were attentive. To give you an example of the overcharge:: four pieces of fried shrimp on a bag of fig sauce was $16 and they were tasteless. My wife had the Corvina. Nothing to brag about. This is a very nice restaurant located in Bonita Springs,FL. on a busy main road. We made reservation for 6:30 pm and were seated immediately . Our waitress , Gillian was great! She took our order for drinks and immediately came back with them and she gave us what were the specials for dinner. We had Caesars salad, Lentil soup, hale a head of Broccoli and chicken Kabob! Everything came together , no waiting for one order! Food was very delicious! The restaurant was crowded and lively ,but not to a point where you could not hear yourself talk. Food was excellent ! Tender fresh-grilled colossal shrimp kabobs were on point with fresh grilled vegetables. Eggplant Parmesan was light. , fluffy and perfectly cooked. Not heavy and overly breaded. Many Italian restaurants in the Naples /Fort Meyers's area. The variety of Mediterranean and Italian on the menu was appealing when booking the restaurant reservations. Located in a strip mall, parking was very easy. When entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly host and seated promptly. Our server came with in 5 min to bring us water and take our drink order. Great wine selection and cocktails to choose from. I ordered the white sangria. The drink looked fabulous but extremely too sweet for my tastes- think they added way to much fruit juices ( corn syrup ) and no small pieces fruit .white wine sweet by itself- could only drink half. I'll stick to wine or Prosecco next time. Appetizers- we shared fried calamari. Perfectly cooked and battered. Not chewy. Salad- spinach with figs, nice balsamic but added canned tangerines- maybe fresh tangerines or blood oranges would be a better accompaniment. Canned fruit was not expected in a finer dining place. Main course: Pork chop- with cous cous . My dinner mate said it was tender and delicious. seasoned with Mediterranean spices . Cous cous perfectly cooked. 5 stars per my dinner mate. Lamb tangine - severe grout the tangine to the table and removed the top- tender slices of lamb with onions maybe raisins in a delicious sauce - my other dinner mate loved the savory and sweet tastes. 5 stars Clams and linguine- lots of clams, and a nice portion of pasta cooked perfectly. The clams were very smelly which was a red flag. The white wine sauce was bland. I could barely taste white wine and little presence of garlic which usually makes this dish outstanding. Disappointed - below average taste but gave to 3 stars mainly for the nice potion Side of sautéed spinach - cooked perfectly with slices of garlic Too stuffed for desert. Decor: elegant traditional Mediterranean colors - nice atmosphere - not too loud Overall a nice restaurant- will come back and order wine, and the Mediterranean meat dishes. We got tajines for a light dinner. Omg so delicious. My friend got the chicken version and I got the veggie. Plenty of food and very different flavors. They didn't just slap the meat into the basic veggie. It was a whole other dish. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly. So we had gone to Bistro 41 a few weeks ago and the owner said he was mentored by the owner of Figs. So we decided to check this place out. It's super busy. Great outdoor patio and expansive indoor dining and bar area. The owners are on the floor serving and interacting with customers. Food is a blend of Italian and Middle Eastern. Great wine and cocktails to choose from. I got a lamb shish kabob plate and the figs salad with pistachios, oranges, dates on a bed of fresh spinach with balsamic. Food is fresh and delicious. Our service by Sam, the owner was perfection. Every aspect of our evening was amazing. They also have an extensive array of desserts should you save room. Finally got back here after thinking about the Seafood Tagine throughout the pandemic and it did not disappoint! I love this bright, clean, airy restaurant because all of its dishes are packed with flavor. Although I have to have my seafood tagine, I also want to try new things, so on this particular visit we ordered the Spinach Orange Fig Salad to share among the three of us and I am SO happy we did! The tender baby spinach, bright mandarin oranges, perfectly ripe figs and yummy vinaigrette made a perfect big salad to share and I highly recommend it. My SIL ordered the Shrimp Scampi; the shrimps were perfectly cooked and tender and the pasta was fresh in a side dish with delicious marinara sauce. Brother had the ravioli special, cooked in a delicious, creamy sauce. Service is five star, food is five star, atmosphere is warm and inviting. Make a point to try it! read more

When we pulled up to the parking lot we had no idea that Figs Grille was a fantastic Italian restaurant. The food was fresh, plentiful and very tasty. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was indeed superb. I had the Chilean Sea Bass Special and my husband had the Veal Parmigiana which were both hits. We came here on a Saturday night for dinner. It's in a strip mall and they have indoor and outdoor seating. Outside appears more casual while the inside has a more upscale vibe. We were seated right away when Carlos came up to us and handed us the wine and drink list. He gave us a moment to look at the menu and then he came to tell us what the specials were and he started with a Chilean Seabass which is my all-time favorite. I didn't even bother looking at the menu anymore I was getting the Chilean sea bass. He had to walk away for a moment then then he came back and he finished the specials which included lamb shank osso bocu. Another fave. I went with the lamb shank Osso Buco and my husband went with the veal scallopini Pizzaiola The lamb shank was cooked perfectly and was falling off of the bone it was so delicious. It was served with a Parmesan orzo which was also very good. My husbands had three pieces of veal scallopini which he said he didn't even need to use a knife he was able to cut it with his fork. He also had zucchini and I'm not sure what the other item was but he said it tasted very good. I thought their prices were very fair and the food was delicious. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was their bread. It was not warm and they served it with what I'm assuming is a fig type of olive oil. read more

Service was on point and the food was amazing. This place is worth trying when you're in fort myers area for sure, it's been the best Resturant I have ate as so far. My wife got the seafood trio special and it had lobster, shrimp, and scallops over linguine. I had the seafood tagine it had scallops, shrimp, clams, mussels with an amazing sauce and rice. The flavor of mine was amazing. We also had the calamari app which was pretty good wasn't a huge fan of their sauce, it was a little bland. The crab soup special was amazing basically like a lobster bisque with crab. If you come here get the tagine for sure it's amazing. read more

My GF and I had an amazing first time experience especially on Valentines Day. Our server Carlos was fantastic. This man knew every dish, explained everything in detail, had a wonderful sense of humor, and was on point . We didn't go with what Carlos recommended because I'm a picky eater but everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. The food came out quick as well which we was surprised because it was busy. I recommend for appetizer The fried Calamari and the Hummus. It was so yummy!!! My GF got the Shrimp Parmesan and I ordered the Adona Kebab. Both plates was so good. I've dined at Figs numerous times over the years, but this weekend I placed a takeout order. It reconfirmed that the food is some of the very best in the area! I would highly recommend Figs for both their amazing service and ambiance, but even more so for the quality of their food. I thoroughly enjoyed their Imperial appetizer--fresh mozzarella, with with black figs, mandarin orange in honey citrus vinaigrette. Ultimately, you can't beat the chicken kebob--cubed chicken breast marinated in yogurt, charbroiled with grilled tomatoes, red onions and peppers, served with yogurt cucumber mint salad and basmati rice. We learned about figs from the local newspaper and decided to give it a try last night because of all the great reviewers. Well the reviews were correct this place is great. My wife and I started the night by splitting the mezza plate which was large and super good. We then split the Mediterranean salad. This reminded me of the salads I ate in Greece. Lots of good tomatoes, olives etc in a tasty dressing. Next we spilt the fried goat cheese in fig sauce. Super good. For our entree we decided to split the lamb shank. Thank goodness we split this since it was large enough for the two of us and it was delicious. All in all we highly recommend this restaurant due to great service and super tasty food and we will be back. read more

Being from NY it's hard sometimes to get the top notch service that you see up north but figs brings it! The food is a blend of greek, Italian and Egyptian (In my opinion). The waiter staff is superb and the food is very fresh! From the scrumptious crab bisque to start, right to the warm fresh bread, then I had the lamb shank, followed up with some homemade creme brûlée and some expresso! Could you ask for a better finish? Ok, my only complaint about our meal was our server was not friendly. His assistants were very good, but he was non plus to us. Now to the good part, the food. We started with the goat cheese app. It was fried perfectly and the goat cheese was a smooth ooze (in a great way). The port wine/ligonberry reduction with figs was a perfect combination. Heavenly. Then I had the roasted duck with figs and port wine reduction (you see a theme here). The duck skin was crispy and the meat was also perfectly cooked. I came here on a nice Saturday in Feb 2023 for dinner. They seated us immediately and accommodated our ask for a table sitting next to one another. I appreciated their flexibility. Our waiter named Dean was very attentive and professional. The other waiters and staff were also helpful and service oriented. We had the tuna ceviche and the corvina. My first take the place was full and buzzing. The wait staff was good but hanging over us for most of the meal. A little overboard. The food options were nice. Our classic dishes were excellent. Food done right. The odd dishes were a bit of a mess. We had a few salads which were very good. The we ordered mains which includes the steaks which were cooked perfectly but the demi was just ok. I had the feature pasta which I would highly not recommend. Lobster tail with 4 shrimp was good. But the pasta was somewhere under the soup sauce which I believe was a type of lobster bisque. I should have tried the Moroccan dishes which sounded better. I think i ordered the wrong stuff. Our waiter did not know his wines very well. Was just happy for me to order a bottle of anything. The restaurant is located in a strip mall but the strip mall feel ends at the hostess stand. Inside is a perfectly lit dining atmosphere, white linen table cloths, a good vibe that has energy but not the loud cafeteria talking. Perfect. Our server was a pro, well versed in the menu and able to suggest apps and entrees with the knowledge of the dishes, not just pushing the days specials. Bread and an olive spread was at the table soon after waters were poured. My husband had the lamb special and I had the miso cod. We shared the fried calamari appetizer. The food was delicious, complex in flavor and large enough that half was taken home. Tiramisu for dessert was the best we have ever had...light, good flavor- a perfect ending. The owner sat us at our table and then returned after our entrees had arrived to ensure that all was good. We have found our new number 1 restaurant in Bonita Springs. Happy! read more
