Underwhelming. I wanted to love this meal - but it was not a great experience. The food was not bad but it was very generic and basic with nothing special. The service was incredibly slow and we had to borderline beg for water. Our food took over an hour to come out. The seafood tower was good and the skewers were as well but again they were nothing special and did not justify the price whatsoever. We left hungry. The only reason I am giving this place more than one star is the incredible ambiance. Maybe a great spot for drinks but don't waste your money otherwise.

I had high expectations for this new NYC hotspot and Casa Cruz delivered. Once you walk in you are wowed by the amazing decor of this converted 6 story townhouse mansion. It may sound weird, but you have to check out one of the best designed bathrooms I have ever been in. Food was beyond expectations. Hands down the Best octopus, expertly prepared very tender and flavorful sauce. I had my favourite entree, Beef Wellington. Once again outstanding preparation. Excellent cocktails and I enjoyed my French Blonde. Service was on point! Professional 5 star servers were knowledgeable and sublimely attentive.

Lamb was a bit too rare and was gummy. Best items were the lobster ravioli, fries, and chocolate soufflé. Short rib agnolotti was alright but could have had a thinner wrap.

Not sure why this place has such a low rating I had such a wonderful night there. The decor is gorgeous, the service was spectacular and the food was so delicious. We started with the focaccia with whipped ricotta and caviar cones afterwards we had the salmon which was served with a beautiful rhubarb citrus salad, the carrot tajine and the wild mushrooms, i had a glass of rioja and my mom had a spicy mezcal cocktail, we ended the night with a sumptuous chocolate souffle and a pot of chamomile tea. In total our meal with tax and 25% tip came out to $277. Not sure why everyone is saying this place is extremely pricey, i have paid way more for way less in the past. I'd definitely go again, I hope people continue to support this establishment, it is unique and overall a great time :)

We made a reservation for Saturday at 7:15 PM and arrived at 7. They seated us immediately, and the service upon entry was impeccable. There's a coat check, followed by an elevator ride to your designated floor--ours was the main dining room. The restaurant's layout was unique. When we arrived, only one other couple was there, but as the night went on, it became more crowded. The tables are quite close together, which can feel uncomfortable when others are seated next to you. For food, we ordered the lamb chops, octopus, salmon, tots, and smashed potatoes. Everything was good, but the side dishes should at least be larger portions. After dinner, we visited the downstairs bar. It had a nice atmosphere, but the small rooms made the vibes feel disconnected. Overall, it was a nice experience, but nothing particularly special.

The restaurant was absolutely STUNNING. It felt warm and sexy as soon as you walked in. There wasn't a single thing we ordered that wasn't an absolute 10/10. Went for my birthday and they did an amazing job.

Delicious food every time. I love the cocktails and the fact that there's two separate dining rooms with two different moods. They have a fun little view too. Would definitely recommend!

Made reservations for Christmas Eve to bring in the holiday with a group of friends. The ambiance is beautiful. Who doesn't want to be in beautifully lit Manhattan townhome on Christmas Eve. The staff looked wonderful in their uniforms and their smiles were welcoming. We were seated in the upstairs dining area near a warm fire and delivered drinks that we ordered on a lower level. Unfortunately, we weren't delivered enough menus for the table, had to request water be delivered over, and had the wrong drinks brought out. All things were easily remedied but considering the rather lite number of restaurant goers during our dinner, we weren't sure as to why such mistakes were being made. We ordered Christmas stuffing which did contain pork but it wasn't mentioned in the list of ingredients, wagu beef tartare, fois gras, risotto with gambas Rojas, truffled pumpkin ravioli, braised goose, halibut, and Atlantic cod. The food was delicious but the goose was tough and chewy. We were told at 11:50 that we should order our last round because they'd be closing soon. We asked the waitstaff what was the closing time because the website stated that it was open until 2am. A gentleman with a floor length fur coat came over to the table and stated to one of my guest "brother it's Christmas and people wanted to go home." Which we understand but the restaurant was chosen because of the closing time. I wish that would have been updated on the website. I would suggest this restaurant. I believed everyone should experience an esthetically beautiful atmosphere and dinner or maybe just a few drinks and appetizers before heading out somewhere else for dinner.

Great party spot. Multifloor venue in UES with very professional staff. Good choices of appetizers going around. The drink options are more limited, but fair. Fun get together spot overall.

Swanky & sumptuous like CiSiamo but more lux. Think private & luxurious. & generous. Drank: Domaine genotype burgundy Ate: Cod plus humita corn side Cod $44 Humita corn $16 This is lunch btw. They gave toasted bread which was tasty & pretty. Cod & corn was delicious. The experience is very luxurious and private. Value not so much but the experience is top notch., except no to go boxes. This is NYC what??? Otherwise, snazzy & scrumptious & service is super attentive.

The place looks romantic, the staff were pleasant. Food portion sizes are too small and over priced. The flavor is delicious. Reduce the prices, add more food to the dishes. All dishes should come with a standard side. NO drink should be $25 that's unexceptionable.

We were lead upstairs to a table. There were 7 of us The seating was cozy but not cramped. We started with 7 family style small dishes: Hummus with Falafel Pops (chickpea purée, tahini, falafel, olive oil), Spring Burrata (roasted cherry tomatoes, toast, basil oil), Hamachi Crudo (passionfruit vinaigrette, citrus zest, cucumber, mint, sesame tuile), Scallops (carrot puree, serrano pepper, brown butter sauce), Tenderloin Skewer (zaatar chimichurri, fresh herb salad), and Shiitake Stuffed Grape Leaves (tomato coulis, yogurt foam, herbs). Everything was delicious. The hummus was well seasoned the falafel had a nice crunch. It went well with the warm puffy gyro bread that came to the table. The burrata was wasm and creamy. I love the vinaigrette on the fish. I ended up eating most of it. The scallops were the sweetest, most tender ones I have ever had. The tenderloin skewers were tender and well seasoned. I liked the grape leaves but the rice consistency was very soft almost mushy and you can barely tell there were mushrooms. There was barely any mushrooms flavor. Next we all chose an entree. I got the duck breast, my husband and daughter each had the beef tenderloin. The duck breast was smaller than i expected. The skin was nicely seared and very crispy but boy did it give my jaw a workout. It was done medium rare. It was juicy but tough. The small beef tenderloin was tender and smoky. The waiter poured the sauce over the tenderloin for added flavor. Finally dessert was a fruit plate with ice cream and pudding. The fruit was fresh and the flavors of the ice cream and pudding unique. It was a nice end to a good brunch. The price was a little expensive at $85 a person.

I had ordered ala turka but its not authentic really. pI think that this might've been the best Turkish food in New York City. I've been to Turkey several times and this was one to one authentic and the lentil soup is the best I've had also, the rice pudding is wow. As far as the meal I ordered the lamb chops and it came with the rice with the rice was perfection. It was completely cooked better than any other rice I've had in a long time. I must say the lamb chops I would say was mediocre, but I mean the price is such a good price that it is kind of what it is. I mean one seemed to be overcooked. The other three was edible and tender. Sometimes there's just one bad item. I don't know, but I'm going to order again tonight and try it again. Let's give them one more chance of the lamb chops. It's probably the best lentil soup I've had since istanbul.
