We ordered the barbecue chicken, blackened tacos, regular chicken tacos and beef tacos and each plate had perfect seasoning. I appreciate the waiter which was very helpful. I don't eat spicy food and he was able to assist me with my order. They made some chicken tacos that had the least spice in it and it worked out at the end of the day. The waiter turned on the heaters which helped a lot that night was a bit cold. The waiter also accommodated us by putting the ice cream cake we brought in the freezer and bringing it out with the candles lit! That was awesome! We came here for House of Lumma event, and it was completely and utterly disorganized. First of all, on the event brite for House of Lumma, it stated that a ticket does not equal a reservation and we need to make a reservation and order food as it was required. We texted the number listed to make a reservation and the guy who picked up honestly seemed confused. His confusion confused me. I'm like well you told us to text this number to make a reservation, and you didn't respond. Anyways, after we finally made a reservation for 9:30, we showed up at the host and we told them we were there for the event. They scanned our tickets and let us in. After they let us inside, we have to go back outside because I guess they didn't realize that it's like: we have reservations why aren't we being seated at a table? We do that and we are seated at the furthest table on the right side of outside at a table. I knew that a server would not come because they sat us at the furthest table possible. I was correct and it was 15 minutes gone by and nobody came to us. Meanwhile, it is 930 and I'm hungry because I didn't eat because they said that we have to order food. After watching people come inside, we realized that we didn't actually have to order food. Well then. At one point, I saw a server standing with a super skinny supervisor/manager looking guy. I just got up from the table and went up to her and told her that we had been sitting for 15 minutes and nobody has come by and that we would like to move our table. Literally as soon as I walked up to this poor girl, the supervisor just abandoned her. What kind of manager does that? I specifically told her that it's not you, it's whoever is running this place has no idea what the hell they're doing. Clearly, there was a ton of disorganization between the restaurant and the event. There was not enough staff. There was this one girl and one man for like the entire half of the restaurant. You could tell she was trying really hard but it was just a disorganized chaos. I told her we would like to move and she said she would go speak with the host and get us to move somewhere else. She did that, and the host came and moved us to another side of the restaurant which was not in the furthest freaking corner possible for crying out loud thank God. As soon as we sat down, a server came by and took an order for a drink. I told her we would like a second to look at the food menu. Our drink came pretty soon after. But this girl legit never came back for like another 20-30 minutes. I had to flag her down. She wasn't coming by. She totally forgot about us even though I told her to give us a minute. oh, she gave us a minute alright. When we finally placed the food order, the food came in a timely manner. The food was actually pretty decent. I give two stars just for the good food. The best was the nachos. I also got a barbecue chicken salad, but it was lacking flavor. I was going to call the restaurant the next day but to be honest it's not worth my time. I don't like restaurants/bars that do this type of stuff. It's literally the bartenders job to keep tabs. Extremely poor service. My friends and I visited on 2/13/26 and ordered chips and salsa, but were mistakenly given loaded nachos. The server left immediately, so we assumed the order was correct. After we had already eaten about half, another staff member asked if we ordered them and later returned to take the plate away, stating we would be charged otherwise. We ended up being charged $20 for their mistake, with no apology, no solution, and not even a small discount. Completely disorganized and unprofessional. I stumbled upon Casa de Onda while looking for a bar to host our wedding after party, and it turned out to be the best find ever! It was the perfect space for our large group. Since the restaurant/bar is so spacious, we were able to have a more private area to ourselves. The owner, Alex, was incredibly kind and accommodating--he went above and beyond to make sure everything came together exactly as we envisioned. It truly was the best after party we could've asked for. We haven't tried the food yet, but the space and vibes alone made for such a great time.
