If not, you can stand around or sit on other little tables on their outside patio. You can view the drinks through a QR code, a wall menu or above the bar. The drinks were really good with fun names, it was hard to decide which I'd make my first! A great place to visit and enjoy a good drink.

The beers itself were decent; however, there were no prices posted anywhere on the chalk menu, or the paper menu from what I saw. I ordered 2 drinks, one of which needed to have the keg replaced. When the attendant returned she said they were actually completely out, but the drink I had ordered was a double IPA, and without any prices posted or itemized receipt, I wasn't sure what I was able to get instead. The attendant then tells me "if you get something cheaper, I won't change the price" which confused me. A double IPA is typically more expensive than a regular beer or seltzer and she didn't even offer a refund to compensate for the fact that it was sold out and I had already paid for it. This could have been mitigated if the prices were available or she offered me an itemized receipt. For 2 beers I paid $20 before tipping. As a customer I'd like to be informed of what I'm getting charged for, and if I'm charged for something more and given less, I'd like a partial refund. In the end I got my beers and sat down. The brewery itself doesn't serve food, so it was nice being able to bring my own food and est what I want. Again, up until 30 minutes of being there, no music was playing, so very off putting vibe. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience here and don't recommend anyone coming here when other breweries are in tbe area and much more clear with pricing and have a more lively vibe.

The food was surprisingly good, plenty of choices, good beer selection, and the service was excellent. Our waitresses were friendly and attentive even as the place got busier. The whole crowd had a fun energy, which made watching the World Cup even better. I've heard Wild Goose really cranks up at night with a younger crowd, but I haven't experienced that side of it yet. For a big sporting event, though, I'd absolutely come back. Great atmosphere, good food, cold beer, lots of TVs, and friendly service. Hard to ask for much more.

Our server was good, however I will say as soon as we paid they stopped refilling our waters. We stayed and chatted for a bit but our waiter or any staff never checked on us again after. Also, the bathroom could have used some attention, the trashcan was overflowing with paper towels and the plunger was out in plain view. I think a basket would help hide the plunger and cleaning products just so that the customers aren't thinking about plungers while at the restaurant.

Went to Casa De Onda for the House of Lumma event on a Saturday night with a bunch of friends, tickets were $36 each, so we expected a solid night out. The way it was promoted on social media made it sound like a big, well-produced event, but honestly, it was super misleading. When we got there, they tried to upsell us a $500 table for one bottle, like we were at XS Nightclub in Vegas or something. The music quality was rough, low-quality speakers, and the DJ's sound cut out twice due to technical issues. Whatever music was playing inside, you could barely hear it outside. They really need a better sound system if they're going to host events like this. To top it off, they didn't want to give us wristbands to go in and out, like we were about to run away next door. The dress code was nonexistent, there were guys literally on the dance floor in gym clothes, which totally killed the vibe for a place charging $36 per person. Honestly, this whole event felt poorly organized and overhyped. There's a lot more I could say, but let's just say it's not worth the price or the hassle. read more

Checked out Casa de Onda for their grand opening with a friend! The ambiance was really nice and the service was solid. Shoutout to Jackson for being super helpful with walking us through the menu and suggesting items. Bonus points to the staff for checking in and handling a little bug situation quickly -- we appreciated that. Food-wise, it's a little overpriced for what you get -- but hey, it's Costa Mesa, kinda expected. We tried the horchatas and honestly... they tasted like milk water. Jessica was really sweet though and tried to fix it for us, offered to swap them out and take them off the bill. We still ended up getting charged for the new drinks, but we appreciated the effort. I got the chicken tacos -- pretty good, just wish they came with a little rice or something on the side. My friend got the chicken enchiladas and they weren't too impressive for the price -- kinda just looked like some tacos on a plate. Overall, it was alright! Casa De Onda is my new go-to spot! This place seriously checks all the boxes. The vibe is chill but still has that "wow" factor -- great music, good crowd, and such a fun atmosphere. You can tell right away that the team here puts their heart into it, especially Alex, the owner. He's always around, working his butt off to make sure everyone's having an awesome time. You don't see that kind of dedication often anymore! The food? So good. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done -- you can tell they care about quality. The cocktails are creative and perfectly balanced, and the service is just top-tier all around. Also -- they do Football Sundays! If you're a Chargers fan, this is the spot. Great energy, TVs in all the right places, and the kind of crowd that actually makes game day more fun. Casa De Onda has become one of my favorite places in Costa Mesa, hands down. We discovered this restaurant through Instagram Reels and decided to give it a try, especially given its Newport location and our high expectations. Upon arrival, the décor was appealing; however, the restaurant was noticeably empty for a Saturday night, which was concerning, particularly compared to nearby establishments like Yard House and Sevilla that had waits. Despite this, we chose to proceed. The waiter was pleasant, but unfortunately the food and drinks fell short. The chips were stale and the salsa lacked flavor. The shrimp enchiladas were served cold, and while the pork belly tacos were acceptable, they were nothing memorable. We also ordered the Watermelon Margarita and the Tóxica Margarita, both of which lacked flavor and were unenjoyable. We did not finish our food or drinks. I attended the soft opening of Casa de Onda last night, and it was a really wonderful experience. The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful setting. It feels like a very mellow and relaxing place. Something about the color scheme just really sat well with me. My bbq chicken wings appetizer was very smoky and flavorful. And a huge serving, as well! My steak frites entree was tender and delicious, and I really enjoyed the chimichurri sauce on top. For dessert, I opted for the chocolate brownie. I can't stress enough how much I enjoyed it! Other members of my group selected the tres leches cake and flan, and I was equally impressed by these offerings. Right when you walk in, it feels like you have been transported on vacation. The lighting, the plants and vines, and the music is something that feels like it would be overseas. The drinks are refreshing and strong. I had the La Toxica which is a spicy margarita. And I switched to the Sabor Fresa which I guess is a tequila mule, but flavored strawberry. The food was top notch. We started with the smoked buffalo wings and they were large and tender. The combining of buffalo sauce with the Smokey flavor was delicious. We had reserved indoor seating, but when we arrived, we were told we had to sit outside--even though it was cold. Things didn't improve much from there. Our food came out cold, which was really frustrating, especially for a special occasion. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed and busy, so we had to keep reminding her to turn on the heater. When it finally got turned on, it ended up being too hot, and it took a long time before anyone came back to check on us. We were brought water along with the menus. The waitress was very kind and checked in on us consistently. The drinks were really good and the food was delicious. After we placed our order, the food came out within 15 minutes or so. So it was pretty quick. They have a really cool seaside ambiance with the decor. We had a great view of the ocean and boats where we were seated. Food was overall delicious, the drinks were good, and service was excellent. Definitely a place to try if you're around. Amanda was our server, and she was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The views are amazing, especially with a great view of Newport Pier, and there was plenty of shaded outdoor seating, which made it even more enjoyable. The happy hour food and drink prices are honestly some of the best you'll find in Newport Beach you really can't beat the value! I also love that happy hour runs until 6 PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the food, drinks, and waterfront atmosphere without feeling rushed. Great food, great prices, beautiful views, and excellent service. I will definitely be returning!

Now we made sure to arrive early and organized ourselves to be able to avoid the wait, etc. Our tab was $400 not including the tip and we got told to leave by the manager. My party and I literally LOL and said really?!?! After she left, so we all got up and left. This act of the manager shows that what they cared most about was $$$$ versus customer service and truly caring about customers enjoying their time. I left out that she had said "I noticed you payed your tab already". Clearly she thought "payed tab we got what we needed now leave". This was our experience dining at Rosa Madera, most likely won't be coming back.
