a sign on the side of a building

I have never ever ever stopped on the side of 17, until this day. Promised my kid Id get him a candy, so here we were. Damn, $6.00 for a bag of peach rings... man, where is 7-11 when you need one, 2 for $2 peach rings. Whatever, all their refrigerator doors are rigged, so when you open one, a chime alerts the cashier and she'll come watch you to make sure you're not stealing, I guess? F*cking weird. They also charge a fee to use your credit card, but wont let you use your debit card. I wont stop here again. There are signs posted everywhere "THERE ARE NO BATHROOMS SO DONT EVEN ASK"... kinda rude. Of course my smart ass kid asked... but the lady just smiled and pretended to know his joke.

The minor quibble was that the outdoor space was so tight, anytime anyone wanted to get away from the table, multiple people had to get us and move out of the way - then again when they came back to the table.... We shared the meatballs for an appetizer. Tender and authentically italian. I got the pear and gorgonzola pasta, which was fantastic, might have been better as a smaller portion as an appetizer as it is RICH (in the best way possible). Hubby had the chicken parm, and you can never really go wrong there, this as a nice rendition - nice and thin and crispy. Dessert was sort a chocolate pudding, that was kinda a dud. I should have gotten the molten cake..but no worries, we were all so busy chatting and getting to now each other, the food was not the focus (which is not the norm for me!)

Ordered: - Mushroom pie: loaded up on mushrooms which is a big plus but also added to the sogginess toward the middle of the pie - Margherita pie: presentation looks nice but would like more basil on each slice. Solid undercarriage - Tagliatelle: Balanced flavor but felt a little stingy on the sauce bits (the good stuff) and cheese Outdoor seating available and heaters to keep you warm. Fun vibes, good food, no real complaints Cheers, Centonove!

The gnocchi is honestly one of the best I've had across the Bay Area - perfectly cooked, rich, and super satisfying. Their pizzas are just as impressive: well-cooked, flavorful, and made with great ingredients. Dessert panna cotta was a great way to end the meal. What really stands out is the service. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. I once called in because I was running late for my reservation, and they happily adjusted it by 15 minutes without any hassle. They're always courteous and go out of their way to make your experience great, including accommodating small customizations to suit your preferences. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a place you'll want to come back to again and again. On top of that, the pricing feels very reasonable for the quality of food and service you get. Overall, it's a must-visit spot in Los Gatos--highly recommended!

We sat at a table in the bar side of the restaurant, the music playing IMO was great and it is loud enough to here but not loud enough where you could not have a conversation (perfect) I ordered the Loverboy Pie (comes with crushed tomato, mozzarella, pecorino, double sausage, pepperoncini, garlic oregano, and basil (I added pineapple. wifey ordered the Gnocchi, made in house comes with Kale, butternut squash, basil pesto, parmigiano, garlic, and chili flakes. (added Sausge) and for dessert we both ordered the chocolate mousse. The Pie crust was very soft, not crispy but that does not mean bad, just different. unfortunately the dough was a little chewy (maybe a little high in gluten?) and the pizza tasted like a Totinon's frozen sausage pizza, again...not necessarily bad but I expected a lot more (I did pick up on the flavor of Oregano) but still I felt it was lacking. The Gnocchi were soft and creamy and the sauce was spot on, (this is a very good dish) The chocolate Mousse is the bomb! they use a lot of semi sweet chocolate with whipped cream? and almonds on top. This is a must to satisfy any sweet tooth.

I had some time to kill (and appetite to satisfy) before the LG Wine Walk a couple of weekends ago,…read moreso stopped by Pizza My Heart in DT Los Gatos. I'd been to other locations and always liked the pizza, so thought I'd try this one out. Their logo and "Hard Rock Cafe" type branding of having the city below the logo on merch always struck me as kind of cool. So I wanted to grab a t-shirt at some point, and their $8 special for both the t-shirt and a slice of pizza (which runs $6-7 by itself) is such a great deal, I decided to pull the trigger the day I was here (it was also colder, so I wanted an undershirt to wear under my other shirt). The pizza was very good (veggie) like I've had at other locations, and the shirt is pretty thick and all cotton. Service was friendly enough - young workers who are casual and not overly attentive, but responsive enough. :D Happy to have several of these in the area, and this location is convenient and food quality is on point.

Picked up some slices from 2G2G which contained the D'Lex Chicken & Bacon: Chicken, Bacon, Mushrooms, Garlic, Green Onions in Ranch Sauce. FYI..."Pizza My Heart is not a traditional New York-style pizzeria; it is a California-based chain (founded in Capitola in 1981) known for a thin-crust, surf-themed style that blends California-fresh ingredients with a thin, hand-tossed base. While thin, it is generally considered California-style rather than authentic NY-style." Support your local business.

Once the food arrived there was no follow up. We had to flag another server down for some condiments I really wanted to like this restaurant because the outdoor seating is inviting However I was sad that my out of town guest ate little and refused a take home container my pesto and salmon pasta was too heavy on the dairy and the salmon was not fresh it had that stale salmon strong taste., which I decided to bring home for my pet. I had a Sicilian coworker who was passionate about Sicilian food. Unfortunately the food here lacked passion. It failed to deliver for us. I would not bring out of town guests here unless you've had a previous experience with the food on par with the higher reviews. I'm sorry that I had to rate this as such.

*Vegetarian Foodie Review*…read more Went here with a group of friends for the first time. Ordered: 1) Garlic Bread: 5/5 - Tasted super fresh and garlicky without too much cheese, exactly the way I like it. 2) Walnut Pesto Linguine: 2/5 - It sounded super interesting, so I ordered it. First of all, the dish didn't look appealing at all. I get that it's called walnut pesto, but there were way too many walnuts. As for the pasta itself, it tasted very bland, not flavorful at all. My friend and I ordered the same dish and we both felt the same way, couldn't get past 2 spoonfuls. 3) Pasta Primavera (white wine cream sauced swapped for pink sauced - red and white combined): 5/5 - ordered this for my 5 year old, and omg it was amazing and full of flavor. 4) Burrata Pizza: 5/5 - A very interesting combination of toppings. Must try, do not miss it! 5) Port Belly Pizza (ordered without the pork, made vegetarian): 4/5 - pretty good and flavorful. 6) Pink Gin & Elderflower Tonic (mocktail): 3/5 - Nothing great. I don't drink alcohol at all, so I am not sure how mock gin should taste like. 7) Tiramisu: 4/5 - above average compared to most places. Not soggy or dry - it was good. 8) Brownie Sundae: 3/5 - I had a lot of expectations for this one, but it turned out to be meh, the brownie chunks should have been warm; instead they were pretty hard in texture. They should have warmed it before serving it with the gelato. The taste was good though. Definitely coming back, but I would stick to ordering pizza or the pasta primavera next time. The pizza, bread, etc. were super fresh, and you could feel that in every bite. The ambiance is awesome, you could come here for special occasions with friends and family. Our server was very attentive, gave us good recommendations, and was super nice to us.
