This Round Table is one of the very few businesses that been around for over 50 years in Los Gatos. Soon not to be! There's a new owner now who clearly doesn't understand American pizza or any pizza for that matter. I ordered a pizza last night and stuffed jalapeño peppers and I have to say this is the WORST INEDIBLE pizza I've ever had in my over 60 years lifetime. Soooo bad! Unbelievably dry with maybe some sauce somewhere? And is the cheese even cheese? It had a strange slightly sweet taste. And the jalapeño peppers stuffed with cheese? Straight out of the frozen foods section from a budget grocery. AND what the heck happened to the inside of this pizza place?? A true nightmare! Glaring bright overhead lights, so bright you almost need to squint. And the worst part there's flat screen TVs plastering every inch of the walls. There must be 15 flatscreen TVs in this tiny pizza place ALL with different channels going. He just forgot to put them on the ceiling for the finishing touch. The whole place is a nightmare. I order from Round Table in LG whenever I order pizza to go. It's convenient and I find it to be a good and consistent pizza. We order the cheese, sausage, and mushroom variety. Sometimes extra cheese or extra sauce. It's always reliable. I think getting in and out of the back entrance makes for an easy pick up, too. I will continue to order pizza from this Round Table. I have ordering from Round Table for a long time. I usually get two of the Specialty Pizzas. King.Arthurs Supreme and the Gourmet Veggie. These pizzas normally come with large pieces of meat and vegetables but this time looked like everything had been chopped. Could hardly distinguish between the two pizzas. Here is why the review cannot be five stars or low enough to fall below three stars: VALUE. I used to think round table served table sized pizzas and grew up wishing I could someday work hard and eat a table sized pizza!! Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to fulfill this dream yet... But I have discovered another amazing thing of round table, the amazing round table toilet!! When nature comes a calling and no other store seems to care, RT answers the call!!! On a more serious note, their bathroom is very clean, I'm talking eat off the floor clean! Couldn't find any gratti, paper on the ground, or any other unsightlies. The hot water is hot, the soap dispenser has soap?! and the paper towel dispenser just works! Amazing right?! This RT staff is very friendly so i can imagine that this place would also serve good pizza given that the owner even cares enough to keep the bathroom is great condition. 4 out of the last 5 pizzas have had an extremely chewy crust , very hard to eat, kind of ruins the experience. I've been eating round table for 36 years and it's always excellent so I don't know what's going on. The manager was real nice and sent me a free pizza , but that one was chewy too! They made a few good ones before so I don't know what happened. The crust isn't being made properly, they are screwing up a step or something. Wow! So what's better than round table Pizza? THIS round table!! I have been to a lot of round tables and never once have I received a pizza with a crispy crust. You didn't even have to work your way through the lamp pizza to get to the savory crunchy crust to edge. My daughter pointed out that you could hold the pizza up to take a bite without it flopping down. The ingredients are very fresh. They put just enough sauce they did not overpower the flavors of the fresh toppings. We also got the wings which again had just enough sauce to be yummy but not a mess. Excellent customer service. Really nice guy taking our order and serving the pizza. Everyone in there was friendly and greeted us with a smile didn't just walk past us. When he called me to thank me, he admitted he already had eaten three slices before calling. He said the pizza arrived fresh and hot, and tasted great. When I placed the order, I carefully stated I would cover any extra charges and tip in addition to my order. Five stars, all the way! FIrst off, this is the absolute cleanest pizza place I've ever been to. Period. Not a speck of dust to be seen anywhere. I've never had a bad pizza from this location and the customer service is consistently exemplary. The workers are very attentive and the management makes sure you are being taken care of. The pizza dough and sauce are the best, and all the ingredients are always super fresh. If you like a thinner crust, ask for the Skinny Crust...that's usually what I get and I'm never disappointed! They have five different beers on tap, including Shock Top, Stella Artois, and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale...yummy!! They have two flat screens that usually have one or more sports games showing, which is great if you want to meet up with your friends and catch a game. Even though it is a smaller location, it is cozy and you can usually find a seat, even when they're busy. On a side note, I'm not quite sure why the reviewer Ann W. gave this location only one star....while the rest of the country was observing Easter Sunday, she was unsuccessfully attempting to order pizza from a pizza parlor that was closed. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth it. I can actually tell someone has RTP in their home by the smell. I have been coming here for 40 years. When I was young, this was a dark and scary place. We would only get pizzas to go. Those days are gone though. They have lightened the place up and recently installed a new bathroom that was much needed. The staff is great! Always going the extra mile for their customers. The pizza has always been good.
