I had a lovely experience the first and most recent time I was here. The service was notably wonderful and the portions were unreal. We had plenty of extras. I've honestly forgotten what I got but I remember enjoying it very much, and my husband didn't stop hearing about it the whole way home. We had two servers on our group of 7 people for my moms 88th birthday dinner. One waitress took half the tables order while another waiter took the other half of the tables order, in this two flounder dinners were ordered one from each server. Well my mom did not get her flounder after being there for approx 1.5 hours. They offered her a free cake? But not a meal? I talked to who I thought was the manager to at least make sure we were not billed for it. He confirmed we would not be charged for it. My issue here is that a person in our group did not get their meal at all! and no discounts were offered on bill, (honestly they should have discounted check) bill was correct for items we had. Also no offer was made to give her a meal. Needless to say we closed out bill and left shortly after. I have always liked this place. But this really ruined an evening. And I should mention, yes they were slammed and yes it took 1.5 hours to get out meal and that's not my complaint. But I feel that also should be mentioned as I have been a bar manager for 20 years. So I do understand being in the weeds. I've just never seen such disregard for the fact she did not get dinner. read more

I am a regular customer at Giuseppe's. The food is always great. I just went there to grab an early dinner. 4:30 pm 1 person, they refused to sit me at a table. They wanted me to go to the bar. I told them I didn't want to eat at the bar. The restaurant was NOT full, yes they were expecting two large reservations. But there was numerous other tables open. I was pissed, and went back. I went back in, requested and spoke with the manager. I pointed out that there were tables open, he apologized and said he would accommodate me now. "Like I wanted to eat there now??!" I refused, I did ask him why they treated a repeat customer that way. I also pointed out that they just sat a couple at one of the open tables that I was refused. such a great restaurant, we've been coming here for a while and i don't see us stopping. good food, good service from some good servers and a nice bar. but definitely not covid safe. both hostesses up front are not wearing masks, busboys aren't wearing masks. i see two spanish busgirls wearing theirs with no problem even while cleaning tables... i know serving is hard but wearing a piece of cloth, doesn't make it impossible to work. the cleaning and sanitizing is up to par but it's really sad to see this. even on on both yelp and the website says all employees wear masks... that doesn't seem to be enforced read more

First time visitors last last. Pietro was our most amazing server. I ordered pasta w bolognese and my husband had gnocchi w meat sauce. Both were excellent and in large portions. My hubs is very particular with gnocchi and let's me know when it's below par. But he said it was absolutely perfect, so tender. The bread and olive oil that was served before dinner was sliced french bread plus a nice Italian herb focaccia. Pietro was so very attentive but not intrusive, informative and such a gentleman. I can't wait to go back for the homemade tiramisu! If I had to say one thing that would improve our experience, is the lighting. It's quite bright and would love to see the lights dimmed for more ambience. read more

Food is excellent. Service is great, Diana worked so well managing a large group. Quantity of food is large for me so we had take home. I had Lasagna and shrimp scampi ( I think). Delicious. No one had complaints with their orders or service. This restaurant filled up fast. I would call ahead to make sure they have reservations.The restaurant has a beautiful Italian decor and and because we were a large group the selections made were many and I was too hungry to take photos. Went for dinner with family. Wait was about 35 minutes when we were told it's 20. Not a really big deal but just be aware on Friday they are really busy and place is really loud, not a good place for small child. Service was good, other than getting wrong wine I ordered Moscato and got Chardonnay instead. Everyone was a mostly happy with their food. I ordered sausage staffed with provolone and parsley with broccoli. It tasted like nothing. Sausage was great but noodles tasted like broccoli water no salt no seasoning. Very bland and I didn't eat it. Overall maybe I'd try to give it another shot sometime. read more

We waited 1 1/2 hours for our dinner to come out. We ordered pizza as an appetizer and it came out burnt. The server was not attentive. We had to flag her down to get a second glass of wine and soda refills. Our server Diane Z was miserable. She never smiled and never apologized for the long wait for dinner. Worst of all was when one couple left a 15% tip Diane ran to the door and approached her and said thanks a lot - very unprofessional! Eaten here at least 3 times and I never experienced the negative vibe from some of the posts. Coming from Long Island, the food is authentic Southern Italian cuisine. And right from the hot bread basket with flavored olive oil I was hooked. And every single seat was taken at dinner time another good sign, plus the bar was packed with people watching the Kentucky Derby. Rigatoni bolognese was 5 star, light cream tomato sauce with nice chunks of mushrooms and chopped beef. My veal Parmesan and manicotti combo was right on too, well seasoned, delicious. I also liked the fact that you could a half portion of the pasta entrees, a really nice option. My party of 6 all had smiling happy faces. I will continue to eat here on a regular basis on my trips down to Stuart. read more

They have by far the best fried Calamaris , and their Calzones are huge you can make 2 meals out of it we had the Zippa Di Pesce, fettuccine Alfredo and Pizza and everything was delicious. I dined at Giuseppe's Italian Grill on the occasion of my good friends seventieth birthday. Two of my friends selected the Mahi and the other, chicken parmesan. I chose an everything pizza. The pizza would have been fine, but it must have been done well before the other dishes and it was brought out at room temperature. Even the serving dish was not hot. I took a few bites and then decided to ask the sever if they could heat it up a bit. This should have been the end of it, but the owner was in attendance and decided to express his surprise. He informed me that the pizza is cooked at an oven temperature of five hundred degrees and suggested that it was unlikely that it was not hot. I was sorry that I had said anything at all for fear of ruining the birthday celebration. They did bring the pizza back out and the waitress told me that she could feel the heat. Very well, it was warm but certainly not hot. I decided to finish the slice I had started and to take the rest home. It was actually quite good when it was properly heated. Everyone else seemed happy with their meals but I did not see one bit of steam coming off their plates. I am not going back. read more

Intimate, quiet, pleasant place. Nice bar with 2 booths, some high tops. Restaurant area is ok, but feels a bit old fashioned compared to the adjacent bar area. They have outdoor seating, but this seems almost an afterthought due to the mismatched furniture. Easy parking, but can compete on weekends with a nearby brewery and farm to table restaurant. Service has always been outstanding. Staff is attentive and thoughtful, unobtrusively making sure you have what you need throughout the meal. In my experience, I've only had expertly mixed drinks and generous wine pours. They obviously know their customer base here ;) Now to the food. Consistently good. Beyond just pasta. Baked pastas are seriously, well, seriously Italian. You cannot go wrong with their baked lasagna or cannelloni, a cheesy eggplant rollatini, or well, basically anything "Italian." Tonight they had fresh lobster tail, or two! Fantastic! I opted for perfectly medium cooked peppercorn crusted filet, served with garlic roasted potato wedges and roasted asparagus, finished with a rich wine Demi glacé. Delish! They make crispy crusted, thinnish pizza, to eat in or take away. Pretty good. Their shrimp, mussel, and scallops dishes are nice, some served over pastas, some baked or sautéed in wine and garlic... really, these dishes are yummy. Also, if you desire, grated parm can coat EVERYTHING. All in all, this is a solid choice for Italian at dinner time. I can't speak for lunch time dining. You won't find anything that is cutting edge here, however, it is far, far above something like Olive Garden.
