What I'm about to say may sound like hyperbole, but i promise you its not.... EVERY SINGLE TIME my wife and i had gown to-go food from here they have messed up SOME part of our order. We keep thinking they'll get it together and now this has been at least the 4th time they've majority screwed up the order. And on this day, Sunday April 15th at 7pm, they've miss made my wife's Charlie tacos. I came to pick them the hostess informed me that they were made incorrectly in the she was going to go get them remade. This took almost 20 minutes all the while the rest of my order sat at the hostess desk getting cold. I spoke to the manager and all he said was sorry. We love eating at Casa Grande but in the future we may only sit down to eat which we don't get to do very often with a toddler. For to go orders it looks like we'll be returning to La Parrilla for our Mexican food. There was an opportunity for the manager to provide good customer service there was an opportunity for the hostess to provide good customer service and not a single person there did. I only accept sorry when I know they mean it but with as many times they've messed up our to-go orders I'm starting to get the impression that they're just lying. Very unhappy with my experience there. I have not written any skating reviews in the past about them just because I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. But now after the 4th time in a row of messing up to-go orders I felt it needed to be said. read more

My lovely wife and I enjoyed tacos and cheese dip here last week. Gus's various restaurants always give you tasty food, large portions and interestingly decorated big restaurants, and this place meets those standards. The owners stuck with their tradition of large portions, however, the food is definitely mediocre and bland. I used to go to Casa Grande every Friday Evening. The food is very good, but the Waiter Staff is Terrible. They bring you your Fajitas and then you wait until your food is almost cold for the flour Tortillas. There used to be 5, and now they only bring you 3. So you don't have enough... If you need more, they charge you $2, and you don't know until they bring you your check. On 09/17/21 I waited 10 minutes and they still didn't bring me my check. I've lived in Marietta for over 20 years and I have enjoyed several other restaurants by this owner who also owns Marietta Diner so I was really surprised at how bad this was. First off, the decor and music is bipolar -- It's a Mexican restaurant but they were playing Cuban music through the house speakers and Mariachi music live. Most people won't know the difference because they don't know the difference, but it was off putting. Secondly, the food was really bad. I thought about it and I've never had bad Mexican food before. I've been to Mexico, I enjoy Papasitos, La Parrilla, and other restaurants and never could make this claim, but I honestly took some of the food back home to my dog and he wouldn't eat it. It was really that bad. On a plus side, the people were nice, pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the management and the kitchen staff kept them from realizing their potential. Muy Bien! I love coming to this Tex Mexican restaurant. Portions are big and the food is well seasoned. The usual Tex Mex staples are on the menu, and it's a big selection to choose from. The place is always seriously crowded, so expect to wait for a table or a spot at the bar. The service is decent, can be somewhat slow at times because of the crowd size. I suggest you try the desert selections. They give you huge portions, over ten types to choose from, and they are very tasty. Oh, and they have live music on Friday nights. read more

My family and I use to frequent this place all the time. This was our weekend hangout spot but soon all good things comes to an end! Their service had declined to us so we took a huge break from them especially being that a new Mexican restaurant has reopened in our neighborhood! My nephew and niece took me here. They are pescetarians and I am a serious carnavore. We all had plenty of items from which to choose. My nephew had fish tacos which he loved. I had carne asada tacos that were so stuffed full of steak that they were a bit of a challenge. I am a sucker for great Pico and this was a great compliment to the grilled meat. With so many Mexican restaurant options in the area, I'm not a die hard Mexican food fan, this TexMex spot is hard for me to distinguish. BUT 10 bucks for 2 steak tacos with shredded lettuce onions and cilantro.(before tax and tip) seems just a bit like highway robbery. I mean these were just plain simple soft tacos with a few strips of beef, not particularly flavorful or seasoned even. I'm saying NO Rice or beans or any sides what so ever, but just two small steak tacos. They charged a 1.00 for a sprinkling of cilantro (maybe a teaspoon) and 70 cents for a tablespoon of onions. Plus a 1.75 for lettuce and a couple tiny tomato chucks. I buy cilantro at the store and not in bulk, it costs at most 1.00 for a fistful bunch. I mean for 10 bucks I was expecting some really fresh tacos. Not some shredded lettuce. But what can u expect when they charge for chips and dip, but ask right as you sit down as if to catch you off guard. No wonder this place is empty. read more

I think that I went on an off day (right before Memorial Day weekend) because the person I was with had been and said it was much better last time. Neither of us received hot food (it was more lukewarm) and it took a really long time considering the restaurant wasn't full. The women's room was filthy. The reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because, aside from wait for the food, the service was sooooo good. I should have listened to the bad reviews. The hostess that sat me was rude and did not even speak she just started walking. I had the Texas margarita and it was horrible. The chimichanga was good. The food is amazing, the drinks are good and the service is very nice. Servers don't try to oversell or push anything. They come to table and exactly as expected from restaurant staff. Where Mexican food comes to die. Waited about 40min to sit at this "Fine" establishment. My partner and I had 2 Texas margaritas 15oz and let me say I get more bite out of a warm sprite. We finally got a table next to the bar where we already were. Besides the unexpected karaoke night that the flamboyant bartender pushed just to get a tip. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, the steak super burrito, and the rattlesnake fries. First off the salsa is pretty depressing. The chips compliment the terrible taste as there is no salt in sight but the grease runs off so I guess that's ok...My rice was bland. You can get better rice out of an uncle Ben's bag of microwave rice even after they took his face off the bag. Now the super burrito isn't so super, it's flavorless. The shrimp on the fajitas looked like I could have caught them out of the gulf more cooked. Now the rattlesnake fries weren't half bad. The queso drenched steak and fries really makes it but definitely overpriced for what they are. Maybe it was a good thing guy Fiery didn't come here. Not even 2am Taco Bell good. read more

I am disappointed. The Door Dash driver delivered 4 beef tacos spilled over in the container. Smother in a big mound of what appeared to be sour cream. The container was NOT secured. Finally!!! We needed a place like this in Austell/Mableton. They have a great menu with affordable lunch options. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. If you like the Marietta Diner Family of restaurants then you will love their new addition in Casa Grande. We went last Thursday night and was seated in the bar area. Service was prompt and informative. She was quick with the drink and meal suggestions. I ordered the Camerones Diablo which had just the right spice. The meal also included salad and rice. My daughter ordered the Chicken Quesadilla which was probably the best I ever had. Like all the other restaurants in the Marietta Family, the portions are huge and the price is right. Deserts are also a forte with this group and are not lacking here. The only negative was the music was a little loud causing everyone to have to talk louder causing a loud atmosphere.
