We asked for chips and salsa and didn't get them until after our food was served and then when we needed the check our server was no where to be found and when she came back to our table we asked for the check and she apologized for the long wait and offered a shot on house and then gave us our shots and still withheld the check until we were able to flag her down, we gave her our card because she would not bring the check to the table so once our bill was brought back we saw she charged us $22 for two shots and she was no where to be found after that so we ended up leaving. read more

I was in town briefly, staying at a hotel nearby and had a taste for a margarita and queso. I Googled places near me and decided to try this spot. They have a nice sized bar and restaurant area. I ordered a medium Texana margarita on the rocks and queso dip with chorizo. I loved the queso dip. It had the perfect amount of chorizo and the chips were fresh. We really enjoyed our late night meal. It was after 8 on a Sunday and we were looking for something that wasn't just bar food. The service was good, friendly and fast. The location is convenient to the Vinings and Smyrna. Lots of options beyond just tacos and burritos. We enjoyed the california enchiladas (shrimp) and Chilaquiles Chihuahua. It was around lunch time and it wasn't a lot of people in. I decide to get my meal to go. I ordered the New Mexican pasta w. Shrimp, chicken and steak. The service here was great! We got seated right away with chips and salsa and got our order taken quickly and our food came quickly as well. I wanna say, the salsa here is amazing! Rarely have I gone to a Mexican restaurant where the salsa was actually spicy, but this one was! It was spicy and flavorful, I loved it! For a drink I got the mojito, which was also delicious! I legit could've drank so many of that, it didn't even taste like there was alcohol in it. My friends got a margarita, the medium-size one, but I could not believe my eyes because it was in a glass as big as my face so I can't even imagine how large the large one is! For my entree, I got the steak street tacos and these were pretty average to be honest. The salsa that came with it was pretty good, also decently spicy. However, the flavor of the steak was pretty meh. I found it way to salty, to the point where the salt overpowered the taste of everything else. Legit all I tasted was salt. The corn tortillas didn't seem that fresh to me and tbh I think adding two for each taco was a bit overkill because each one was pretty thick. In the end I was starting to get full so I was just eating the one tortilla. I was also a little disappointed because when I asked for "steak" I expected chopped pieces of steak, not ground beef, so I felt a little bit scammed. Came here for cinco de mayo and I do not regret it!! Had such a fun time here. I love how on their menu you can mix and match different combinations so you can try more things. Horribly rude staff with no accountability. We were ignored for an hour while other customers were being checked on regularly. Went an hour without a refill. Nobody checked to see if our food was any good. This after it took 10 minutes just to flag down someone to order drinks. I tried for 15 minutes to get someone's attention to pay the bill after I had told our waitress that we were on a tight schedule. Finally I had to chase someone down behind the bar to pay so I could get back to work. When I called to complain about the experience I was told there was no manager and to try again tomorrow. And when I said to that employee that the service was so bad that I may never come back she said great thanks and hung up on me. Hey guys, So tonight, my friends and I decided to go to this Mexican restaurant that I have been to. I personally love the Blood Orange Margarita. It's definitely my favorite. Today I decided to have the quesadilla with ground beef and if you're kinda basic like me (and enjoys and basic ground beef taco) then you'll love the ground beef quesadilla, only a select few do. All jokes aside, my friends ordered, and devoured, the BBQ nachos, the Mexican rolls, and the chicken and shrimp enchiladas. They tell me that it's delicious. After leaving, a few minutes later I get a call from the owner telling me they had forgotten to give me the soup for the order. This was only about 3 minutes after I had left, so it was no biggie to do a U-turn and come back. This is what made me feel inclined to leave this review. The owner was insistent that he give me anything I want from the menu, and upon his recommendation I had a plate of seasoned rice w chicken, steak, and shrimp w queso, a bag of chips, and salsa.
