One year to day I tried Casa Grande again. Same issue. I asked the lady who took my phone order to put it in styrofoam because I'm allergic to Aluminum and she said ok. Got there to pick up and all food is in the Aluminum take out trays, I then explained to her that i would need new food because i can't eat it. She took the food to the back and twenty minutes later it was all packaged in styrofoam containers. Got home to eat the food and I still taste aluminum, my tongue got numb and tingly. They do not take people s conditions serious. I'm done done with this establishment. If I could give it no stars I would. read more

This was our first time eating here. We stopped here on the way to the movies next door and the food was delicious. I ordered a chicken burrito wrap. It came with a lot of food I couldn't eat it all!!! What was even more surprising is how quick the food came out!!! We didn't even tell our server we were in a hurry and they brought our food out so fast. We will definitely be coming back here. I also ordered a dessert, a cheesecake. Yummy!! Staying in motel for work I ventured over to Casa Grande. Tres Amigos Grandes were pretty cool out front. I took a picture. The food was very good I had the Borito grande mixed pollo and steak. I would have given a 5 star, but I could hear the bar conversation from my seat and the bar keeps big and loud were jokingly blaming Trump and his "stupid wall" for Mexico City's earth quake. Well I happen to love Mexican people and there strong belief in family, work ethic and God. And I want as many who want to come to come. I know factually the wall will be good for them and Americans as the felons and drug smugglers loose there access to this country. Do they want to live with the Mexican gangs or would they rather leave them behind in a place they are trying to escape from. If this team mentality would go away we all will win when truth prevails. I've had to ask 3 ppl handling my food to pull their masks from their chins. One bartender just took her off as she closed down and clocked out. I remember i stopped coming here in 2019 altogether when i could never get a clean margarita glass even after leaving a review about their glasses being dirty all the time and speaking with the manager several times. I wasted 1.5 hours here today trying to get a meal. The manager, Luis was of no help. I called for 30 minutes to place a to go order and no one answered the line. When someone finally answered, I was put on hold for 10 minutes, then the person hung up. I decide to try the drive though, only to find out there are limited options. That would have been nice to know before waiting in line for 45 minutes. A man who was delivering some to-go orders to cars told me to go inside to order when I explained my frustration. So I park and go to the door and I'm told I can't go in, by the manager (Luis) because they are too busy. I ask him can someone take my order at the door and he tells me to hold on. After waiting 10 minutes, I ask him is someone coming (at the same time I'm calling the number trying to order with no success). Luis says I'm sorry, hold on, just wait here. Then another 5 minutes pass and I tell him I've been waiting a long time trying to place an order. He tells me he would take my order if he could, but he can't leave the door. While I'm waiting I see him leave the door several times and speak casually to employees and other customers. I feel this was completely unprofessional and I felt ignored and was given the run around by the manager. I will never visit this restaurant on cinco de mayo again unless things are more organized or there is online ordering. It shouldn't be this chaotic. I have driven by this restaurant several times and there are always lots of cars. Couple that with 4 stars and over 200 reviews, what could go wrong? I ordered tacos al carbon, the dish i is usually order when trying out a new Mexican restaurant. You really can't go wrong with this dish; it is a mini fajita plate. A lot went wrong. The dish was served with a salsa bowl size of BBQ sauce, and there was BBQ sauce on the tacos!!! You read it correctly: BBQ sauce. I lived in TX for 16 years and have been to Mexico several times. I have NEVER encountered BBQ sauce on a Mexican dish. The charro beans were OK; there was a small tostada with a tiny bit of pico de Gallo, and a little more guacamole, which were fine. My wife's steak had no flavor at all, only the texture of steak. My child loved the fries. Mine was, well... ok. Casa Grande is a sister restaurant to Marietta Diner, Marietta Fish Market, Pasta Bella, Yeero Village (Greek) and Cherokee Cattle Company (steak house). We have tried all of these except the Greek one. They all tend to give large portions, but skimp on the spices. Pasta Bella is the best one to us. My breakdown for Casa Grande: 4 stars - atmosphere 4 stars - wait staff 3 stars - location 3 stars - food quality 2 stars - food flavor Summary: Cass Grande has potential, but like others in this chain they need to not be afraid of adding enough spice. If they don't have an executive chef, they should hire one. With that said, we like this family of restaurants, and will return to some of them, but not this location. Mother in law and my husband headed here for dinner one night. We fully expected a wait time because every time we've passed this place it has been packed with people waiting outside. We decided to head to the bar for drinks and actually ended up eating there instead. MIL and I Shared a seafood fajitas and my husband for the Texas fajitas. Both were very good. The only thing is when we asked for a small plate because we were sharing he never came back and although the tortillas are made fresh and to die for they didn't come out at the same time as our fajitas plate so we had to wait with our sizzling food in front of us for a few minutes. Just as cool on the inside. One of the first things you see is the 6 and 7 inch high cakes in the display case. You must save room or take a slice or two home. Service here is great. Food will have your taste buds dancing. The staff here are friendly. Something that doesn't happen at most restaurants these days are a manager visible and visiting your tables. Hey when the owners are known for great restaurants like Marietta Diner, Marietta Fish Market and Cherokee Cattle Co. to name a few, you expect them to deliver on a great dining experience and Casa Grande is no exception. From the grand opening they were a hit, and Austell Powder Springs area really needed it. With few good dining options available this place really filled a void. Outside you'll enjoy the Mexican decor and inviting Latin music but it doesn't stop there, inside you'll find the same attention to detail. They even have the same cake displays as their other restaurants, is almost impossible to refrain from the guilty pleasure. We absolutely love Case Grande! The service can sometimes be hit or miss, but the food is always outstanding! I'm a fan of the Texanas Fajitas (steak, shrimp & chicken) with those delicious homemade flour tortillas, and if we don't opt for the "For Two" version, my man often enjoys the Super Burrito! We haven't tried any of the amazing looking desserts in the case next to the hostess stand, but that's only because we're always too full.
