We were lucky to be under the specialized and meticulous care of Idelis, one of the bartenders and a founder of this Doral location. We started with a tasting of the Wines of the Month: * The Gold Rush California Red; highly cherry-fruity with nice depth. * The Vinho Verde; crisp, refreshing, with a very light bubbly sensation. After the tasting, and keeping in mind her preference for reds, we decided to go with 2 bottles of Pinot Noir; elegant, with beautiful red fruit notes, soft tannins, and that classic silky finish that makes it so versatile and easy to enjoy. We started with the house pretzel bun with butter, which is always excellent. From the seasonal menu, we tried the Crispy Barbacoa Arancini, which were very good. For the main course, my girlfriend ordered the Blackened Ahi Tuna and I had the Shanghai Braised Short Rib; tender, perfectly cooked meat with a delicious soy-chili glaze, accompanied by roasted broccolini, shiitake mushrooms, and wasabi silky buttery mashed potatoes. The portions were perfect and the mix of flavors in the sauce and the mashed potatoes is something I can't even describe absolutely phenomenal. For dessert, the Summer Peach Butter Cake (the seasonal option) was already finished, which was very disappointing we couldn't understand why, especially since it was relatively early. We ended up ordering the Key Lime Pie instead, which was very balanced in flavor and sweetness. The crust was excellent and gave the impression of being homemade. Another great visit overall at Cooper's Hawk. The service, the wine, and most of the food never disappoint.

I also got the calamari. Both plates were great. Make sure to order the marinera sauce for your calamari. I really wouldn't pass up on the lobster Mac & Cheese. Julio was our waiter and his service was outstanding. He was knowledgeable about the menu and kind. For the entrees we got the white fillet and the 6 oz picanha as well as the fiocchi with beef. All the entrees tasted amazing and I would recommend them. The fiocchi specifically was so tasty. The foodie in me is very satisfied with this restaurant.

To Whom It May Concern at 107 Steak & Bar, I am writing this…read moreletter because I am beyond frustrated with the experience I had at your establishment during your so-called "happy hour," and frankly, I don't think "happy" is the right word for anything about what happened to me. I came in expecting a relaxing evening and a fair bill, and instead I left feeling like I had been nickel-and-dimed and taken advantage of, and I am not the type of person who just lets this kind of thing slide. First, let's talk about the tax situation, because this is where things really started to go wrong. When I got my bill, I noticed that I was charged two separate taxes on my order. Two. Not one, TWO. I don't know if this was a glitch in your point-of-sale system, an error by the server, or some intentional double-dipping happening behind the scenes, but either way, it is not okay. I did the math myself, more than once, because I genuinely could not believe what I was looking at. I am not a tax attorney, but even I know that being charged tax twice on the same items is not normal, not standard, and not something I should have to catch myself. Shouldn't your staff and your systems be checking for this kind of thing BEFORE handing a customer their check? I felt like I had to do your accounting for you at the table, which is not what I came out to do on a Friday evening during happy hour. Second, and honestly this might frustrate me even more than the tax issue, I was charged an automatic gratuity fee despite being ONE customer. Just me. A party of one. I understand that some restaurants apply automatic gratuity to large parties because splitting a big check and handling a bigger table is more work for the server, and I get that, that makes sense. But I was sitting alone at the bar during happy hour. There was no large party. There was no complicated split. There was just me, ordering my food and drinks like a normal customer, and somehow I still got hit with an automatic gratuity charge as if I had rolled in with a party of twelve. That is not fair, and I don't think it should be the customer's job to cover an automatic fee that was clearly meant for larger groups. If your policy is going to apply gratuity fees regardless of party size, that needs to be disclosed clearly, upfront, before I order, not buried in a bill I only see after the fact. Honestly, between the double taxation and the unwarranted gratuity fee, I feel like I was charged for things I should not have been charged for, and I think 107 Steak & Bar needs to take responsibility for this. I believe the store, not the customer, should absorb the cost of an automatic gratuity fee when it is mistakenly applied to a single customer's bill. That is a business error, not a customer error, and it should not come out of my pocket. I am asking for the following: 1. A full refund or credit for the duplicate tax charge on my bill. 2. A refund or removal of the automatic gratuity fee, since I was dining alone and did not agree to or warrant that charge. 3. Some explanation as to how this happened, so I have some confidence this won't happen to me or another customer again. I really wanted to enjoy my time at your restaurant, and I know mistakes happen, but this is exactly the kind of thing that makes a customer think twice about coming back. I would appreciate a prompt response and a resolution to this matter, because right now I am not a happy customer, and "happy hour" is starting to feel like a bit of a joke. I look forward to hearing back from you soon. Sincerely, A Frustrated Customer

We arrived to a pretty quiet dining room, though it slowly filled up as brunch hours kicked in. No chaos, no delays--just a smooth, well-paced experience from start to finish. The brunch menu is stacked. Plenty of variety, and everything that hit the table delivered. Generous portions, beautifully presented, and most importantly--consistently delicious across a group this size (which is no small feat). Service was a standout. The staff was attentive, organized, and incredibly patient with our large party. Drinks refilled, requests handled quickly--it felt seamless. The space itself has great potential for a lively vibe, with a full bar and a stage that suggests live entertainment. That said, brunch felt a bit low-energy compared to what the setup hints at. A little music or ambiance would elevate the experience even more. Overall, a solid go-to for large group brunches: great food, excellent service, and a space that just needs a touch more brunch-time buzz to really shine.

This is literally a hidden gem tucked away in the middle of a strip mall in Doral, next to a few other restaurants and new construction warehouses. It has a pretty sizeable parking lot. The aesthetic mix - exposed brick wall, modern lighting and open structure would make this place feel like Wynwood or Las Olas. Finally, our waiter was really cool, sidenote dude could pass for Maluma. We ordered bottomless drinks - mojitos for myself & mimosas for my date; our drinks were never empty. The hostess was also accommodating when we had to shift our reservation time. Great service all around! Onto our food: they have a three course brunch menu where you pick one appetizer, a main and a dessert. Among our group, we all picked different courses to share and sample (we even had sharing plates). My sides were the manchego & serrano ham croquettes (5 per plate) and also seasoned the beef empanadas my ladyfriend ordered. The margherita flatbread, as well as the chicken Parm, were well seasoned with a robust flavored marinara sauce. I sampled a spoon of the mushroom risotto and wouldn't mind trying a little more again. Of course you could never go wrong with a chicken and waffles for brunch. #Classic. As far as desserts amongst our group, we tried all three of their brunch selections. I personally went for the guava one and the birthday girl enjoyed the chocolate brownie à la mode. The servers even sang happy birthday for her. I would definitely say this place is worth the drive West and look forward to trying it again.
