Stopped in for lunch and was seated immediately so that we could have our favorite waitress, Louise. Louise arrived once we were seated and took our drink orders and was very good on ensuring the drinks were exactly what was needed. We ordered their soup of the day, beef vegetable, pasta with butter, house side salad, and large meat lovers pizza. The soup had plenty of beef chunks in it along with some nice vegetables in a great broth. The pasta was cooked perfectly and had plenty of butter with it. As always the side salad was good sized with green peppers, cucumbers, carrots, (left out the tomatoes as requested) and then plenty of blue cheese dressing. The pizza came piping hot and heavily loaded with sausage, bacon, pepperoni, and hamburger and the right amount of cheese. This is what gives them the 5 star rating as the pizza was one of the best that I've had in a long time. The flavor of all the meats and the quantity was amazing and definitely will be another one that will be chosen in the future. The restaurant has recently had a makeover and has a very comfortable seating combination of individual tables and booths. And, as always, the restaurant was decorated for the latest holiday, in this case Easter, and looks very festive. read more

We were craving pizza & decided to go to Georgina's. I am only giving 3 stars & that is pretty much due to the service we received. The place/food - is a solid 4. If you like Greek style pizza (a bit thicker), the pizza was very good. Crispy crust. I had a small cheese pizza. It definitely fulfilled my craving. I did overhear another table ordering their pizza with extra cheese -I think I'll do the same next time. My husband had a small pizza with pepperoni & black olives - a decent amount of toppings. We were there on a Tuesday night - so not very crowded. The restaurant is big. The booths are comfortable & clean. However, our server was either overwhelmed or I'm not exactly sure why we were consistently overlooked. We just wanted a refill on our sodas or some water. We've been here before - dinner with friends or attended an event (wedding, fundraiser). We will be back and hopefully the service will be better. read more

Georgina's Restaurant is in Bolton Conn. It is located at the Eastern end of 1-384, a branch off 1-84 that goes through Manchester Connecticut for a few exits. This was my 1st time here as I was here for a special occasion and they had the buffet. There was a great selection of foods to choose from and a great way to try out their delicious food. I personally loved the eggplant Parmesan over the chicken Parmesan. The chicken was sliced a little too thin and thought it was a little on the dry side. This resturant has gotten better and better throughout the years. The dining and bar areas are beautiful and the atmoshpere is always so relaxing and enjoyable. Stopped in after a baby shower to grab a meatball grinder, a chicken parm grinder, and a cheeseburger. Was never quoted a price over the phone. Upon arrival my total was over $50. For two grinders and a cheeseburger. When I inquired why the price was so high, the waitress informed me "it's because you added olives" I've lived in Bolton almost 10 years and have seen the quality here plummet, and their prices skyrocket. Our family has been frequenting Georgina's for 30 years. In all those years I have never ordered a pizza . The reason being is that their dinners are great! While prices have increased like everywhere, the quality and quantity of the meals at Georgina's has remained consistently awesome! Stopped in for dinner tonight and was pleased to see our favorite server, Louise, was working tonight. We were seated promptly by the hostess and Louise was over to take our drink orders. For dinner we ordered meatballs in a meat sauce, veal parmigiana with linguine with a side salad and cheesy garlic bread. Our drinks arrived along with two slices of their regular garlic bread which was hot with plenty of butter and garlic. Salad was fresh with green pepper rings, grape tomatoes, and fresh crisp greens with a healthy serving of bleu cheese dressing. Meatballs were very large, well cooked and the sauce was very flavorful. The veal parm portion was very large, well fried and plenty of cheese. Linguine was cooked Al dente. Both the veal and pasta could have done with more sauce. The veal was tender and easily cut with a fork. The breading was light which was good given the size of the portion. The garlic bread was a little overdone and not really very flavorful. Overall the meal was very good and the service impeccable. We love Georgina's! We used to frequent this restaurant when we lived closer and got to know the staff, who are great! We often took our granddaughter there when she was preschool age and up. (She wanted to celebrate her 5th birthday here so we did.)We hadn't been in quite awhile so we stopped in for dinner. One of the ladies we got to know didn't recognize our granddaughter until she saw us. Her mouth fell open as this child is nearly as tall as I am. She swooped her up in a hug and my granddaughter was just beaming. The employees here are like family to us. The ambiance here is great. It's decorated with nice finishes, including a gas fireplace, and is perfect for date night or dinner with family/friends. They do a lot of takeout business as well. Our granddaughter got her usual from the kids menu, which is extensive compared to most places. She loves spaghetti with butter. She prefers to omit the sauce & meat, and this is an option on the menu. I ordered the chicken francaise, which was includes garlic bread and a small salad. And by small salad, I mean one that will nearly fill you up! I prefer lettuce only so my granddaughter enjoys the tomatoes and cucumbers as her appetizer. She's known to help herself to my garlic bread, too. It is lightly toasted which means my clothes aren't covered in crumbs with each bite. It has just enough flavor without giving me dragon breath. My chicken had the beautiful egg batter that this dish is known for. Fluffy and proportional to the chicken cutlet, it melts in your mouth. The sauce has a touch of lemon and is emulsified into a creamy and delicious sauce to accent the flavor of the chicken wonderfully. The linguine pasta is cooked to perfection. The portions are large enough that I took nearly half of my entree home. Hubs ordered a large pizza with sausage and pepperoni. The pizza crust in nicely done and is similar to a hand-tossed crust with reference to the thickness. It's easy to eat with just a tiny bit of chewiness. Hubs loves the pizza here. I typically order a chicken cutlet grinder, which is huge and made on a large baguette, if that's a thing. It's shaped like a baguette with an artisan quality. Call it what you will... The grinder comes loaded with breaded chicken. I like mine toasted with mayo, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Hubs has enjoyed a chicken parm grinder here. Georgina's has banquet facilities and a full bar so if the parking lot seems packed, there is may be a catered gathering or wedding going on. read more

Shout out to Georgina's for hosting a gathering of 10 people who work together at Heritage Savings back in the 80's. We were seated by the cozy fireplace providing privacy as there was a lot of conversations around the table. There overall prices have increased dramatically, the quantity and quality has decreased. We had our micro-wedding (12 guests plus the two of us) at Georgina's in March 2022 and it was wonderful. Harold was very helpful leading up to the event and exceeded our expectations on the day of the wedding. We brought our own decorations that he helped set up and even added some additional candles which made the ambiance perfect. They let us use the Bluetooth sound system so that we could play our own music and were just very flexible overall with what we wanted to do for our special day. Harold personally served the food and drinks for our whole party and was constantly ensuring that all of our guests had what they needed.
