If you're trying to remember which is which, this is the one across from the convention center, not the cruise terminal. The dining room strikes a nice balance. It's warm, intimate, and stylish without trying too hard. Upscale, but comfortable enough that you don't feel like you're dining in a museum. Service was excellent from start to finish. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping us navigate the menu. The recommendations felt personalized instead of scripted, and every suggestion turned out to be a good one. The food is where everything comes together. Every dish tasted like it started with exceptional ingredients. The flavors were thoughtful without becoming overly complicated, and everything was beautifully executed. You can tell there's a lot of care behind each plate, but it never feels like the kitchen is showing off just for the sake of it. Overall, Botanist gets the full package right. Great room, outstanding service, and food that more than lives up to its reputation. In a city with no shortage of excellent restaurants, this is one I'd happily return to.
