They have some cbd options too but I didn't try any of those. I tried the iced texas Star - flavorful and great espresso flavor. I do wish they used smaller ice cubes so the drink would last just a tiny bit longer. I also tried their chocolate croissant. Good, but would've been better warmed up! I don't remember if they offered that. My friend had the matcha and she loved it. They recently got a new matcha and she was worried because she loved the other one but was pleasantly surprised how smooth and delicious this one was as well. I definitely need to go back and try their matcha as well as other menu items because everything sounds so good. 1 star taken off because it is very hard to navigate with a stroller which is a bummer because I know tons of moms that love to venture out and find new coffee shops. Part cafe, part apothecary, and part vintage shop, Wildcraft General is the store of your dreams if you're into witchy, whimsy, and herbal things. I ordered the cortado and the Neapolitan Latte for here and I found a nice blue little chais to nestle in while I admired their items for sale. The cortado was a smidge foamy but it had excellent flavor. The Neapolitan Latte was the star of the show, though. You can tell the strawberry syrup is homemade and fresh. It paired well with the coffee and the vanilla cold foam (and mocha syrup drizzle). Like the best of a Neapolitan ice cream sundae but in drinkable form. After I finished my drinks, I shopped around and found a box of tarot cards that called to me, so I bought those, and I bought a jalapeño cheddar scone to have later in the day. So many things to look through - it's way on the other side of town for me (but there's a house I'm eyeballing on Zillow that's less than a mile away), but I wouldn't mind making the trip back just for that Neapolitan Latte. Oh, and the staff is super nice. Just the absolute sweetest, asked me how my first visit was, and encouraged me to come back.

When I read this was a coffee spot and a local general store-like spot, we were in. Upon walking in we were kindly greeted and a quick look at the menu we decided on our iced coffee drinks. I ended up getting an iced mocha and my partner got the Neapolitan style iced part matcha, coffee, and a sweet latte aspect to it too. His drink was way more impressive (looking) than mine but I am not a matcha person so I stuck it out with a classic mocha. The glassware they offer, when staying in to enjoy the drink and ambiance, is super cute and classy. We found a nice cozy spot on the oversized large leather couch near the front entrance. From the couch I was able to get a few pages of writing in as my partner did some reading. I saw several others come in, seemingly regulars, grab their usual and chose a spot at the large community table to sit down to chat with their company and/or read. There are also 3-4 seats, at the barista side, for you to sit in if you are solo. The general store won us over too! I saw so many cute patches, pins, vintage goods, ties, lotions, candles, incense, and books, picture frames, greeting cards, etc. here. There is something special about stopping in here to pick out and buy someone something special here. This should be your spot for finding unique and curated gifts. You can't go wrong here finding something from a baby age to grandmas & grandpas. I got something here for my father for Father's Day (a greeting card and a cool vintage tie). Looking forward to coming back in sometime in the future. This spot is definitely worth a drop in and stay in San Antonio. Parking was easy too (street parking).

Bright, with all of its windows and natural light, is well, bright during the day. The staff is really excellent here, just like at NoFi, being super friendly and welcoming. My girlfriend grabbed their Ube Latte while I opted for the Banana Milk Latte, which I had never heard of before and which was super fun to try. It's a super unique flavor for a latte but excellent. I've had many different fruits in my coffee, from blueberries to oranges, but I have never considered bananas to be in the range of opportunities. Bright has opened my third eye to this concept. All their house-made beans from Perdido are top-tier. They also had really cute espresso and pour-over Comfort Color shirts that I had to grab while I was visiting. I also really love the subtle smiley face they add to all their hot to-go cups. There's plenty of space between each seat inside Bright so it never feels crowded even when it's packed. There's also tons of locally-made art on the wall, which really makes Bright exist like a piece of the community. But the highlights: the wonderful staff and conversation and meeting Rudy, who was the creator of their local beverages, discovering that he offered a cold beverage called Tepache. Similar in "fizz" to kombucha, for a reference. Now traditionally this beverage is made with pineapple that is fermented to give it a bubbly fizziness, but Sr. Rudy has come up with a variation, using ginger and blackberry and some other fruits and I tell you that it is worth making a special trip just to sample his particular recipe. The first time I visited, the shop was completely empty with no customers or staff in sight. I waited for ten minutes during which time I snapped some really great photos of the place for Yelp, but ended up leaving when no one ever came out. The café was cute and had their monkey mascot everywhere from murals to plushies, the pastries in the case looked yummy, the dark chocolate samples from around the world were interesting to try, and I really liked the idea of making my own chocolate like they advertised so I decided to try again another day. Unfortunately, the café is a little more out of the way and free parking in the downtown area is limited so it made it difficult to return as soon as I'd hoped to. On the second visit there were two customers and a single manager in shop, and I finally got to order. I opted for their Matcha Latte with Hazelnut which was, at first, okay at best. It was pretty smooth for the first half of the drink or so but was grassy in flavor, and the Hazelnut was dark chocolate like the rest of their chocolates in shop, so beware if you like a milkier chocolate flavor. I would have been less harsh on this drink if it wasn't for the fast that towards the end I ended up sipping a HUGE clump of unblended matcha. It was so bad I ended up pouring out the last of the drink to assess the unmixed matcha situation and was even more appalled to see the bottom of the cup. A few matcha flecks? Fine. But I've NEVER had so much matcha caked down at the bottom of a drink before this one. It was insulting that the manager who made this drink thought this was okay. As an ex-barista, I've said this before and I'll say it again: If you don't know how to make a drink, it does not need to be on your menu. It doesn't matter if you specialize in coffee and chocolate, that does not give you a pass on the other things. If it's on your menu, you need to know how to make it. 5 Stars for aesthetic, 2 Stars for the second worst matcha beverage I've had in my life.
