Excellent food but I think it's too pricey. Their drinks were delicious and they were nice enough to substitute or customize something.

We just moved and tryed this restaurant. Walking in we noticed how run down it is. Ripped seats, scratch and chipped tables, dirt and dust on everything. We came in a little after 3:00 and asked the waitress if still serving "lunch" time for the menu. She said yes, no problem. Later another waitress came to take our order and said "no lunch". We were pi**! Did not leave a tip and we are surely never going back to this restaurant. The food was not that great either! Meh. The service was fine. The food is okay, but not impressive. I ordered chicken fajitas for lunch. The guacamole was slightly brown. The bed of lettuce that the guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo came out on was also slightly brown, as if it had been cut and prepared in advance and not fresh. The onions and bell peppers were mostly onions and I think there was only a couple bell pepper strips. The chicken breast was slightly dry. The tortillas were not homemade. The rice and black beans were good. There are plenty of options for great Mexican food in Lincoln. I probably won't be back to Casa Ramos. read more

Came because we had a coupon. It was super busy but only had a 5 min wait. Our server was friendly and adequately attentive. The menu is vast. Almost too vast. I find places that have too much of a selection cannot focus on a small area to be good at and instead end up being mediocre across the board. This is what I found to be the case. Chips were good-light and crunchy but best of all freshly made/fried. Salsa is VERY bland. A small child could eat it no problem. I ordered the two item combo with chimichanga and crunchy taco. Both of those items were very bland as well. I like my Mexican food to have some kick or at least be flavorful. Low meat ratio in Chimi. Had to really dig around to find the chicken. Plus, the cheese on top was not melted and it was small. The taco only sat for maybe 5 mins on my plate and it one side was so soggy that it fell apart. Beans were okay. Best part was probably the rice. Overall the taste is what I would expect to find at Dennys... you know those places that offer mexican food but aren't. I expect better from a place that specializes in Mexican cuisine. Another tell tale sign is that 99% of the patrons are Caucasians with an average age of 55. No Mexican families or Mexican customers or very much ethnic diversity. Could be time of day but seriously when you come from a rich cultural food upbringing, you don't pay for bland. The Prices are comparable to other Mexican food sit down type place so expect about $15-20 pp. Place is nicely decorated. In new shopping center. It is at best just okay. I will not return. There was nothing they did to leave me wanting more. It was just so unbearably boring for my palate. read more

My family loves this place! I could live off the chips and salsa, and it's free! Pollo fundido and fajitas for 2 are my favorites. The pollo fundido is like three tiny chicken burritos with cheese smelted over the top! Perfect for my kids to share, and it's nice and soft so when I had my braces tightened it was tender enough to eat! The fajitas are really great. My wife and I will get the fajitas for 2 and we can never eat it- but the leftovers are always amazing the next day! They are solid with their wait staff and always keep our drinks full. They are always friendly and have the margarita ready for my wife when we walk in the door. :) top shelf for the lady please! Even if they are packed they have a nice little waiting area. If you ever need food to go- just call then on your way back up to Lincoln from roseville and they are so conveniently located you can pick it up on your way home just off 65! . read more

The Casa Ramos in Natomas was one of our favorite places to eat but it closed. When we moved to Lincoln we were excited that there was a location here. Sadly, we discovered that the food was not as fresh or tasty as the Natomas location and compared to some other nearby takeout type places the prices were too high and the quality was lacking. read more

This place is one of the worst Mexican places we have ever ate at. The guacamole, salsa, and our dinner entrees were horrible. Nothing tasted fresh and the guacamole was an odd bright green color. We should have just left after we tasted the salsa and guacamole. When you compare this place to Zocalo's and El Tapatio this place only deserves a 2 star rating. If you are looking for a traditional Mexican restaurant that is set up more like standard American type restaurants (booth seating, carpeted, ect.) This is a great place. Most Mexican restaurants Ive been to are set up more like cafes, and i love that too...but this place is nice for dinner bc its comfortable. Last night was my 3rd time there. I give up !! It is so very much over priced. $16.50 for the Macho Burrito. That does not even come with Rice & Beans. I took 1/2 home. Filleted it open to find exactly 2 pieces of the Chili Colorado. I think there was 1 piece in the half I ate there. My wife discovered the same with her $17 Chicken Fajitas Burrito. Great margaritas. Service was fine. Not over the top, but fine. The food, well, yikes. I had the veggie fajitas. I am a vegetarian, and the waiter told me that their regular rice was made with lard (who does that anymore?!), so I had the white rice, which was just as one would expect - plain. The vegetables were definitely frozen and reheated - absolutely no doubt about it. I was so bummed. Come one, fresh veggies are cheap -- really?! Hubbie was bummed too.
