Everytime we come here it's always good, never had a bad meal. My husband and I always get the fajitas for two which is huge generous portions, my kids get large burritos and enchiladas always great. We went there last night and it was terrible. When we were seated I saw the chair backs in the booth were torn and you could see large sections of form (a lot missing). When we sat down it was like we sat in a bucket. It took them 20 minutes just to come to the table and ask about drinks. This was after I ask if there was a waitress for the section. I took another 10-15 minutes to get the drinks to arrive. When the food did arrive after another 20 minutes it was only warm and not very good. This place used to be very good I don't know what happened. The restaurant needs a complete update and maybe more waitresses and better cooks. read more

Service was inadequate. Took over 10 minutes for a server to acknowledge our table--at 3:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. When finally received our orders--2 taco salads requested with "our choice" of dressing, the dressing was absent. No one checked on us to see if we needed anything: missing dressing, beverage refills. Food tasted good, but not prepared as described on the menu. For example, cheese was not melted on the meat, barely sprinkled on instead. Won't recommend it, and won't return. Perhaps management should perform review training servers. read more

Delicious food! I don't know how they cook their steak, but it is the best tasting steak I've ever had at any Mexican restaurant. Super tender and extremely flavorful. Their carnitas are awesome too, I only got to try a small piece of the meat as I was with a friend who ordered it and we exchanged a taste of each others dishes...and I wasn't willing to give up anymore of my steak, but seriously considering ordering both next time I go and hoping to not regret eating it all in one sitting, it's too good, I wouldn't be able to stop eating anything with the steak or carnitas. Decided to try Casa Ramos in Lincoln after not eating there for awhile. My wife order a chicken tostada based on their image. Low and behold like much of the other items it is full lettuce. Not meat beans or anything else. Looks nothing like their photos. In fact minus the sour cream and dab of guacamole there was no Tortilla insight. After digging we did find one soggy one barrier under the lettuce. We did also find while looking a few pieces of chicken. If this was ordered at any other of restaurants in town it would have been much better and cheaper. So if your looking for a bunch of lettuce than this is your place. read more

I came in here tonight because I had a craving for some Mexican food as soon as they entered in the establishment I noticed a really delicious smelling aroma authentic Mexican food being cooked as soon as I came in the two ladies working the front we're cleaning the front area and they were very friendly and I asked if I could have a menu so I could choose out some items I wanted for dinner I decided to go with the two chicken tacos with beans and rice and for my mom I got a chicken taco and a cheese enchilada and I only had to wait 10 minutes for my food my was very good And tasted like perfection my mom also really enjoyed her dinner This establishment definitely keeps very busy It's a great place for lunch and a great place for dinner definitely a great place for parties and large gatherings definitely a place for the whole family I highly recommend This establishment for anyone who has a love of Mexican food like myself very authentic very great taste I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more future visits and more great experiences to come thank you Casa Ramos for the delicious foods read more

My husband and I visit Casa Ramos at least three times a month. We always enjoy the chips and salsa , margaritas are great and our servers couldn't be any friendlier. I give the servers a 10+ for friendliness. The food is very tasty and delicious and the selection is plentiful. They make a great Chili Relleno and a dish that's called Citytacos with a wonderful sauce. You won't be disappointed if you try either. really enjoy our visits to Casa Ramos. The only thing that I'd like to add to this review is that when you order hot dishes, ask your server to make sure that they're Mucho Caliente.(Hot in temperature) other than that enjoy your meal read more

I went in knowing I was going to spend a bit of money and I did. For 2 people we walked out close to $60 for just 2 plates, a soda, and 1 beer. I had the Los Dos Amigos and it was dang good! I am a big guy and I couldn't even finish it. It's nearly 2 full size burritos with a side as well. Reason it took me another day to comment, was because I wanted to see if it would taste just as good the next day as left overs. BOOM, yes it was and kinda almost better the second day :) ! My wife's plate was close to $28 for fajitas and I think that's pretty pricy, but that's what she wanted. 3 meats - shrimp,steak,chicken. She said she really liked her plate as well. I tried Casa Ramos in Lincoln today for the first time. I had not gone out of my way previously to eat there due to a less than satisfactory experience at the Casa Ramos in Natomas. The wait staff here was friendly and helpful. Plenty of comfortable seating with a full bar area and regular tables / booths outside of the bar. The menu was extensive and offered a number of options that looked tempting. Initially, I ordered a glass of wine and it was served with chips and salsa. Nothing special or unique about the wine, salsa or chips - they were simply ok. Ultimately I settled on a Taco Salad with ground beef -very disappointing. Within 2 minutes after ordering... "seriously"... I was presented with my meal. Note, the salad was $10.25 plus I paid another $3.25 for a teaspoon full of sour cream and another equally small dollop of guacamole. The Taco Salad looked and tasted as if it had been made many hours ago and left on the counter. It consisted of very little of anything except lettuce.... but it was served with the good stuff on top so it presented pretty well. Not much cheese or tomato and even less beef once the surface layer was removed. The salad shell had a stale, flavorless taste and lack of crunch. Bottom line, I believe I paid too much for only a comfortable seat and a friendly waiter. Too bad I was hungry because the food was not at all very good. read more

I made the mistake for the last time of eating at the restaurant, and not getting pickup! The service has been HORRIBLE for years!! I know they stay in business because the food is great, but really! Getting seated was quick and the "chip lady" was on point, but the server was so slow. We waited about 15 minutes (our chips had been eaten and refilled) before even ordering beverages. When ordering we requested some guacamole for our chips....never came; he forgot! Once he noticed (another 15 minutes) it was brought to us by the "chip lady". I choose to personally tip our "chip lady" because she was the only person who knew what service was! Please Casa Ramos, improve your service so the community can better enjoy your food! read more

Absolutely HORRIBLE service!!! We attended a trivia night here with neighbors that go weekly. I took 1 1/2 hours just to put in our food order!!! 11/2 hours!!!! They did take our drink orders in a reasonable amount of time, but one person in our party ordered a raspberry margarita because she is highly allergic to strawberries. They brought her a strawberry margarita!!! I called the restaurant after we were home and spoke to the manager - Bobby. He agreed that the service was bad and told me he had reasons for the bad service but it was in one of my business why it was bad!!! Kept making lane excuses for the horrible service - but no apologies. They have definitely lost customers from this incident. I will NEVER set foot in a Casa Ramos again!!! Stay away!!! read more

My husband and I tried this place for lunch today. Unfortunately the food was super disappointing. I ordered the taquitos and my husband got the quesadilla. The food came out on the hottest plates I have ever experienced my husband burned his arm. My taquitos where interesting to say the least. It looked like a burrito they cut up into pieces, the chicken a cheese mix was sticky and had a strange flavor my taquitos where room temperature but the plate was scorching hot. My husbands quesadilla w/ steak was ok but also wired, we have never had a quesadilla with cheddar cheese in it and the meat had a very strange flavor. Currently we are worried about if we are going to see our lunch again because we don't feel that great. I'm hoping this unpleasant experience is just because of Covid but I have a feeling it's not. read more

This place got mixed reviews from the people I was with. The people who got seafood dishes were happy. However, my taco salad was really gross. The chicken they added in was boiled shredded chicken and it was super watery. It made the entire salad taste like they soaked it in chicken water. All the kids at the table (3) got a quesadilla with rice and beans. None of the kids liked their quesadilla. They all only took one bite Which never happens, this was a first. I'm not sure what kind of cheese they use but it was so greasy. They did eat the rice and beans so at least they got that right. Eat at your own risk I suppose. Sadly, had lunch today and will never return. When asked if we could bring in a large group we were told no reservations. Why would anyone refuse the possibility of 20-30 people guaranteed for dinner on a week night. Turns out it didn't matter. My lunch was beyond mediocre. None of our food was hot. I got the same thing with rice and beans and mine was 16.00. I called thinking there was a mistake. No mistake, an extra 10 dollars because it became a meal with rice and beans.
