I've passed this place many times since I work in the area, and am so glad I finally thought to stop in and check it out! As someone who travels all the way downtown for really good Mexican food, this is my new favorite local gem. We were greeted and seated within a couple minutes by friendly staff. The server was super helpful when I asked about what kind of 'soft tacos' they offered. When she said flour and "corn street tacos" I was in! Chorizo street tacos are my favorite and I wasn't disappointed. My dinner companion got one of the combos offering 6 different items and was also very happy. If I had to give a criticism, our food didn't come out together. The smaller meal arrived about 2 minutes before the larger was brought out, but I don't feel that's a serious issue. Shared a combo plate for 2, washed down with a pitcher of quite tasty margaritas. Generous portions .all the food was very good. Service was decent. However, the outside landscaping is a joke. The grass has not been cut once this year. They should at least send out 1 of the goats to graze the lawn. Come on guys, hire a lawn service. Right now it looks like an abandoned building! read more

This is our go to Mexican place in the area! After the new management took over, everything has been really good. Big portions and very affordable. I usually get the Las chimis which is one beef and one chicken chimichanga, which comes with refried beans and guacamole. Their daily specials are also really good. No complaints from us and we will continue to come here for our Mexican fix! read more

I was a regular here before I moved away for college. It's my favorite mexican restaurant in the suburbs. A lot of people are skeptical of coming back because it is under new management, but don't let that prevent you. Food: They give you salsa and chips before you make your order. Their burritos, chimichangas, enchiladas and their chicken fajitas are amazing. I didn't get a chance to try any of their steak items. Service: They are very attentive with checking your drinks, asking for refills, etc. If there is a mistake with your order, they care of it immediately. Most waiters have good knowledge of the menu. We were excited to try this place after being recommended by a friend. When we got there, the server asked how many? We said 4 and a high chair.. she then said it would be about 10-15 mins until we got seated. There were only two other tables occupied in the restaurant.. so I didn't think I heard her correctly so I said 10-15 mins until we get a table? And she rudely said yes because I'm by myself and have to put in orders first. We didn't mind waiting but honestly she could've put us at a table then took our order when she was "finished putting in orders" and that would've been okay but she was rude about it and what she was trying to do didn't make sense. read more

We originally wanted to go to Azteca in Madison Heights but they were closed for some reason. We came by this place and stopped in. They had numerous tables open but we still had to wait 2 minutes before getting seated. After getting seated we waited another 5 minutes. My family and I have been coming to this place since they opened. We were happy to see a new restaurant take over the old Juan's. We have watched a fast turn over of employees since they usually only run with 1 server. Who has to seat the door, wait on the tables, make the drinks, and bus the tables. The last few times we've gone we've gotten really bad service. Tonight we were changed $2.99 x 2 for a few pieces lime and we were not made aware of the charge since our tacos came with lime on side and The 20 tacos between the two of us the four little pieces of lime each that we got wasn't going to cut it. Also we were charged for 18% that also wasn't mentioned or posted, in writing anywhere. Too bad this place is going to crap. It won't be too long before they're closed too. Well, I should've known when I pulled in parking lot and there was not one car there. But the reviews looked pretty good and I was hungry for a fajita quesadilla Terrible. I typically order this when getting Mexican food and have not been disappointed. However, the chicken in this one was like the chicken strips you buy in a bag at Costco. Including the "char stripes" from so called grill. When asked if it was ok I said no, not really. Waitress and I were very polite with one another but she only discounted my meal by three dollars. This was a wonderful place for a Friday evening dinner. We sat at the bar and loved the large screen TVs all over, but not playing loudly since there was a live singer from 6-8pm. We really enjoyed the music! We loved our waitress, Jennifer. She was very pleasant and accommodating. We shared The Casa Real Specialty for 2, it was delicious! This place is alright. Nothing special have been here many times and tried several different items. A lot of their sauces taste like they are from jars/cans. Service was mediocre most of our meal we sat with empty drinks because no one was around to check on us even though they weren't busy. Definitely the best Mexican in its area. I like them as Juan's, they remained good when they changed over to this name. I always get the same meal, because I know it'll be excellent (pollo a la chipotle). I greatly appreciate their beer selection, both in draft and size choice. We came here on cinco de mayo and the food was pretty awful. Not authentic at all and extremely bald. They were nice about not charging us for the food but we wont be coming back. Best Mexican restaurant in the area for sure Salsa and chips are fresh, and the food is delicious, so flavorful, and much improved from Juan's. I had the veggie quesadilla with a side of guacamole, and my boyfriend got the wet burrito - we both loved our meals and ate everything. Juans hacienda was my favorite Mexican restaurant and had been going there since I was a child so super bummed it's no longer the same. Decided to try the new place with a friend even though my sister and her husband warned us about how awful it was. Well, should've listened to them. There's no one in the restaurant, the employees sit at the bar waiting for anyone to come in. I've never seen a completely empty restaurant, that should've been a clue. The food had no flavor, completely bland. My friend and I didn't even want to take what was left on our plates home. Like many of other post Ive read, the place was empty and had been a customer when it was Juans. I ordered beef enchiladas . The most disgusting things Ive ever seen or taste. The tortillas were the consistence of cheese cloth and the meat cold in the middle but the serving plate surprisingly hot enough for first degree burn. I had one bite and got a carry out box as to not embarrass the waitress that was very nice. Got tired of hearing employees apologize to customers about errors in the kitchen (wrong meals, meals not coming out at the same time, not able to make meals that are on the menu). I used to visit this place weekly and this would happen about 50% of the time. This week I had enough...
