I was searching for a place to eat today and we chose not to go to our regular location while in the area. We most definitely did not have a huge appetite. We ordered 1 carne asada taco Ala cart with a Pepsi, I ordered for myself 2 cheese enchiladas. Our meal came with complementary chips and salsa. Service was immediate drinks were brought out immediately. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The business was not busy by far. It was huge and roomy inside with multiple tvs on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Mango margarita

Mango margarita is so well made here! You always get complementary chips & salsa. i got a fried mojara, ride, beans, and what I didn't expect was the fries. Very good food here.

Garnachas

We were looking for some Guatemalan cuisine and came across this place on a whim while we were driving. What brought us in were the pictures of the garnachas on the window. We were immediately greeted and seated. Interior feels like a old timey diner. While it could use some updating, I think the service and food speak for themselves. Our hostess was attentive and provided our food timely. Everything tasted fresh. I ordered enchiladas with shredded beef and salsa verde. We also had the garnachas, chicken soup, and plantains. The salsa for the complimentary chips was delicious and spicy. The plantains were perfectly crispy and paired with crema and black beans. My enchiladas including the rice and beans were well seasoned and I had leftovers to take home. I hope you give this place a shot because I am going home with a happy belly!

Carne Asada quesadilla

Was going to a concert at the SoFi stadium and wanted a quick bite beforehand. Decided to stop by here on the whim, but boy was that a mistake. I should've read the Yelp reviews here beforehand as there were clearly better places to eat in the same plaza as Casa. The restaurant was a bit dirty and the bathroom was even worse. I ordered the Carne Asada Quesadilla. It came out in about 5 minutes, which made me a bit wary. My suspicions were right. The meat was tough and flavorless, and the cheese was less than desirable. The fries were honestly better to eat than the quesadilla. The only upside to this place was that the service was quick and friendly.

Oof, so I went here because there are very limited options walkable to the SoFi Stadium. I was hoping to get a good drink and possibly food before heading over to watch the Giltini Rugby team and was really disappointed. I got a Michelada and it was pretty sad. It looked okay, but it tasted as though you had warm beer and you poured it over ice so it got all watery and then added some dashes of hot sauce. It actually ruined my appetite and couldn't get food also based on the vibe and stuffy smell. The service wasn't helping much either and I just wanted out. Anyways, it's in a good location as the SoFi Stadium starts getting more use. Hopefully they can up their game though, but I'd be hesitant going here again.

I was here before and after rolling loud. I went in to use the restroom but I was told that it was for customers only. I ordered 2 steak tacos and omg I loved them. I went back for more and a burrito. Their salsa is one of a kind! Glad I stopped in now I will return whenever I'm in LA.

Riquísimo desayuno en Casa Rios. Ordene el desayuno Guatemalteco que viene con huevos fritos, frijoles negros, plátanos, crema y queso. Riquísimo y muy bonito ambiente totalmente recomiendo. I fully recommend this restaurant for their delicious homemade food. I ordered a Guatemalan breakfast very tasty. Very nice ambience. Must try

BEST CHILAQUILES with eggs on the side! Rice and beans were delicious too! GREAT FLAVORS!

Came to get Breakfast before a Rams game. No wait upon arriving, Rams game started at 1pm. You can park in a lot down the street and walk to the restaurant and then to Sofi. Super friendly and kind servers. Clean restaurant. Sat at the bar as opposed to booths. Pretty big seating area in the back of restaurant. They have a great breakfast menu! YOU HAVE TO ORDER THE CHILAQUILES! I got eggs on the side. The sauce AMAZING!!! Chips weren't soggy and flavors were so yummy! Plus they have bottled Modelos and Negro Modelos!

enchiladas verdes with cheese inside

My boyfriend and I were walking back to our hotel after a concert trying to find a spot to eat but couldn't find another spot open around 11:30pm. We came here and it turned out to be so good! Great service and great food.

I decided to take my grandma to have some Central American Breakfast. We arrived right at 10 AM once the restaurant opened. My grandmother order their Guatemala Breakfast; eggs, Platanos Fritos, beans and crema. The presentation of the food was pretty bad, the beans were not cooked well and were not fresh at all. The 3 platanos Fritos also weren't cooked well. We also ordered their Mexican Chilaquilles and the presentation was a lot better, but tasted very poorly. The tortilla was soggy soggy and not crispy at all. The salsa is not homemade. The presentations of the plates need to be a lot more appealing!! Unfortunately this restaurant did not meet my expectations.

Eagles at the Forum 2021
Franklin M.

I heard this was originally a Sambo's location from decades ago. We were heading to the Eagles concert at the Forum but wanted to have dinner before hand. The interior has seen better days but we were here for the food and not the decorations. We ordered a bean and cheese burrito, soft tortilla fish taco, and chicken sandwich and fries combo. The burrito was good but a bit on the small size for the price, my taco was actually very good, and the sandwich was your basic no thrills combo. So hands down the food is pretty good but the young teenage girl waiter needs a bit more training in table service.

First time at Martin's and we will definitely be back to try some more options…read more Food: ° Taco Sampler - you get 6 tacos (2) Al Pastor, (2) Asada, (2) Chicken with guacamole, pico de gallo, cilantro, onions, and lime. These tacos were so good. Great flavor on all of them but my favorite was the al pastor and pineapple. Great choice for small groups. ° Ceviche Camaron Con Mango - this was my favorite of the day. The flavor was so good and it was a large portion, it came with sliced cucumbers dipped in tajin on the side. The dish had avocado slices with mango sauce smothered on top. The Tostadas were made fresh. Loved this dish. It's a must try. ° Chips and Salsa - the salsa is everything. You can literally put it on anything and everything. I cant believe how good it tasted. It's smoky, mild heat with a good mild consistency. We put it on the tacos and it changed everything. I would buy this salsa!! We also added guacamole and heads up it could use some salt and lime to enhance the flavor so we added it in ourselves. ° Steak Fajitas - This plate was so hot and stayed hot the entire time. The meat was well seasoned and they give you plenty for one person. The tortillas come wrapped in thin paper to keep them warm and you get rice and beans with sour cream and pico. It's a must try. Really good. ° Baked Salmon Roll (Sushi) - The roll was big and had flavor you get about 8 pieces and the salmon is cooked table side with a torch. This gives you the option to cook the salmon to your liking. I chose medium toasted. It's a really cool experience. The flavor was great I would order this again. They do need to get better soy sauce cups, the ones they have are too deep and its really a salsa bowl. ° Combination Plate - you can choose 2 or 3 items so of course I chose 3 items. A chicken Enchilada, Hard Shell Taco (chicken), and a Chile Rellano with red sauce, and Rice and beans, the red sauce had a strong tomato base that I didn't really like too much but the Enchilada, and Chile Rellano was still pretty good. The portions are just right and the plate stayed hot. ° Drinks - we ordersd a Strawberry Frozen Margarita, and a Cadillac Margarita both can be ordered in large sizes which we did and when i say those are large drinks, those are large drinks. The bar tenders was quick too and the drinks was made just right. Service: The staff did a great job and seated us quickly, he was polite, attentive, and checked on us when he saw plates empty or us looking for assistance. The staff was great!! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a good vibe with plenty of TV's to watch sports, the bar is big and their is plenty of seating its a pretty big restaurant but it is split into two different sides. So if your looking for a place with space for big groups they can accommodate. They also have music playing but not too loud so conversations are easier. Location: It's on La Brea Ave in inglewood CA near the corner of Regent St. Price: The prices are fair. It's about $20-$30 per person. Parking: The parking sucks. It's really bad but you can park around the corner on the street. It is paid meter parking.

This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and this is easily becoming one of our go-to spots for nights out. Highly recommend.

We were staying near LAX and I didn't want to drive too far, so we stumbled upon this Mexican spot in the cutest little downtown area ever. El Segundo, you are THAT b*tch! We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday and were seated immediately (thank goodness). Our server was super duper friendly and even had multiple conversations with us throughout the meal, sharing anecdotes and talking to my tattoo artist friend about getting a tat from her LOL. We quickly ordered some chips and queso (not free) and were blown away by how creamy and tasty the queso was. The tortas were also delicious and easy to scoop a lot of cheese on to. On to the menu, they had a good variety of Mexican dishes, but the price point, man. I thought $4-5 a taco at Barrio Queen in Arizona was steep, but this place charged $7-8 for a single small taco. I would've been okay with any menu item since it's Mexican and nothing under that cuisine could be bad, but seeing each enchilada over $30, made me steer clear of the main entree dishes. I also knew I wanted to try fish tacos, so I just opted for one fish taco and one grilled taco, with a side of mashed black beans. Crazy that some black beans also were at least $5. The fish taco was nicely battered and the guacamole was ripe and creamy, but the grilled chicken taco was nothing spectacular. There was also cauliflower tacos and beef brisket tacos ordered among us. My friend who ordered the beef brisket taco rated it 7.5/10, whereas the cauliflower tacos were rated 9/10. The food also took at least 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Both sauces my tacos came with were extremely spicy so I didn't even touch those. My friends enjoyed their meals, and the side of green rice two of them got was rather tasty. Overall, our server was the best part of the experience. She really ate DOWN, whereas our food and the price point did not.
