    2 ground beef tacos. Bomb!
    Tim S.

We were on the way home to my Moms house, and we were hungry. My Brother said there was an El Tarasco nearby, so we decided to stop. Went with a Jr Super Deluxe ground beef burrito, and 2 ground beef tacos. My Brother and I split everything. How was it? Great! El Tarasco is old school South Bay Mexican food. Always good, and always consistent. The tacos have their famous "red sauce" which taste like some white wine or something. Really good. Old school, fried shell tortilla "chips". Great salsa! Burrito was stuffed with meat, rice, beans, wet, with guacamole on top. Solid burrito! Will definitely come back. Open late, too!

My Uber driver recommended this spot (specifically the chicken tacos), I knew we had to try it the next day for lunch. The pricing was very reasonable, the space itself was nice and clean, and I appreciated the outdoor seating since the weather was beautiful. Restrooms were also available (a plus!). The server was very attentive, helping us decide what were the best options for us to try. We ordered a mix of items to try a little bit of everything: Seafood tacos, Chicken nachos and a taco plate with rice and beans (with the option to mix and match meats !) The nachos were good overall (7/10 for me), but the chips got soggy pretty quickly and the bottom of the plate became a bit watery. Flavor was there, though. My friend really enjoyed her seafood tacos said they were fresh and light! I ordered the taco plate with chicken and steak. The rice was flavorful and well-seasoned. I skipped the beans since they came topped with cheese (something I didn't realize beforehand). The chicken tacos were solid, but the true standout was the carne asada! Very tender, well-seasoned, and easily my favorite item of the meal. Overall, this is a great, casual spot!

    Carnitas Burrito is the best!

Was working in the area and this was one of my stops and I made it a point to stop here for lunch. Parking is doable. There's a small lot with a few spots behind and to the left of the stand and there's street parking on the side street as well. It's more of a stand, where you order at the counter and then you sit outside to eat your food. They are close by to SoFi and they had a sign welcoming World Cup tourists to Los Angeles, which was nice to see. I ordered a carnitas burrito and a Pepsi and Priscilla was really cool and took my order. My order was ready pretty quickly and I sat down to eat it and looked in the bag and saw two or three tostadas or their large tortilla chips and their red pico-de gallo salsa. I was so elated! Back in the early 2000's there was an El Tarasco in Fullerton off Nutwood and the 57 fwy. (currently where Ensenada Surf N' Turf grill is at) and I still think about their burritos to this day. I was hoping this location was the same as the one from my years ago and it was! The carnitas burrito was so good! The carnitas were cooked thoroughly, soft, juicy, salted and just straight up great pork. The tortilla tasted great as well. For me, their burritos are nostalgic and taste great and I'd definitely stop by if I'm in town!

This place has been a long time staple in Hawthorne! I enjoy going here because the service is fast, food is great and the the place itself is very welcoming. They remodeled the dining area which is outdoors and provide plenty of space for tables and turf grass. They even added a munchie menu.

Such a gem! Friendly staff and quick service. The food IS AMAZING! Got the deal of the day Thursdays are burritos days and also got the California fries. Perfection! And love the seating outside.

First time at Martin's and we will definitely be back to try some more options…read more Food: ° Taco Sampler - you get 6 tacos (2) Al Pastor, (2) Asada, (2) Chicken with guacamole, pico de gallo, cilantro, onions, and lime. These tacos were so good. Great flavor on all of them but my favorite was the al pastor and pineapple. Great choice for small groups. ° Ceviche Camaron Con Mango - this was my favorite of the day. The flavor was so good and it was a large portion, it came with sliced cucumbers dipped in tajin on the side. The dish had avocado slices with mango sauce smothered on top. The Tostadas were made fresh. Loved this dish. It's a must try. ° Chips and Salsa - the salsa is everything. You can literally put it on anything and everything. I cant believe how good it tasted. It's smoky, mild heat with a good mild consistency. We put it on the tacos and it changed everything. I would buy this salsa!! We also added guacamole and heads up it could use some salt and lime to enhance the flavor so we added it in ourselves. ° Steak Fajitas - This plate was so hot and stayed hot the entire time. The meat was well seasoned and they give you plenty for one person. The tortillas come wrapped in thin paper to keep them warm and you get rice and beans with sour cream and pico. It's a must try. Really good. ° Baked Salmon Roll (Sushi) - The roll was big and had flavor you get about 8 pieces and the salmon is cooked table side with a torch. This gives you the option to cook the salmon to your liking. I chose medium toasted. It's a really cool experience. The flavor was great I would order this again. They do need to get better soy sauce cups, the ones they have are too deep and its really a salsa bowl. ° Combination Plate - you can choose 2 or 3 items so of course I chose 3 items. A chicken Enchilada, Hard Shell Taco (chicken), and a Chile Rellano with red sauce, and Rice and beans, the red sauce had a strong tomato base that I didn't really like too much but the Enchilada, and Chile Rellano was still pretty good. The portions are just right and the plate stayed hot. ° Drinks - we ordersd a Strawberry Frozen Margarita, and a Cadillac Margarita both can be ordered in large sizes which we did and when i say those are large drinks, those are large drinks. The bar tenders was quick too and the drinks was made just right. Service: The staff did a great job and seated us quickly, he was polite, attentive, and checked on us when he saw plates empty or us looking for assistance. The staff was great!! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a good vibe with plenty of TV's to watch sports, the bar is big and their is plenty of seating its a pretty big restaurant but it is split into two different sides. So if your looking for a place with space for big groups they can accommodate. They also have music playing but not too loud so conversations are easier. Location: It's on La Brea Ave in inglewood CA near the corner of Regent St. Price: The prices are fair. It's about $20-$30 per person. Parking: The parking sucks. It's really bad but you can park around the corner on the street. It is paid meter parking.

This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and this is easily becoming one of our go-to spots for nights out. Highly recommend.

Once everything was assembled, which took a while thanks to the tough avocado, I was hugely let down. Despite the large quantity of food, the quality was just not there. The fish was flaky and not overly fried, but it tasted like the ocean, not in a good way. SO so so much salt, yuck. Also disappointed by the sides. The black beans were quite runny, more liquid than beans, and the rice had a bunch of random veggies in there that took away from the dish. We were staying near LAX and I didn't want to drive too far, so we stumbled upon this Mexican spot in the cutest little downtown area ever. El Segundo, you are THAT b*tch! We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday and were seated immediately (thank goodness). Our server was super duper friendly and even had multiple conversations with us throughout the meal, sharing anecdotes and talking to my tattoo artist friend about getting a tat from her LOL. We quickly ordered some chips and queso (not free) and were blown away by how creamy and tasty the queso was. The tortas were also delicious and easy to scoop a lot of cheese on to. On to the menu, they had a good variety of Mexican dishes, but the price point, man. I thought $4-5 a taco at Barrio Queen in Arizona was steep, but this place charged $7-8 for a single small taco. I would've been okay with any menu item since it's Mexican and nothing under that cuisine could be bad, but seeing each enchilada over $30, made me steer clear of the main entree dishes. I also knew I wanted to try fish tacos, so I just opted for one fish taco and one grilled taco, with a side of mashed black beans. Crazy that some black beans also were at least $5. The fish taco was nicely battered and the guacamole was ripe and creamy, but the grilled chicken taco was nothing spectacular. There was also cauliflower tacos and beef brisket tacos ordered among us. My friend who ordered the beef brisket taco rated it 7.5/10, whereas the cauliflower tacos were rated 9/10. The food also took at least 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Both sauces my tacos came with were extremely spicy so I didn't even touch those. My friends enjoyed their meals, and the side of green rice two of them got was rather tasty. Overall, our server was the best part of the experience. She really ate DOWN, whereas our food and the price point did not.
