We usually come here and we never had a problem, however, recently the way they handled a situation was disappointing. Order a chile relleno burrito with green sauce- which we have ordered before. Got home and while a family member was eating the chile relleno - a part of it tasted like the chile itself was going bad and stopped eating it. We called to inform them because we also don't want this to happen to other people and all they said was " oh this was made fresh this morning and states it usually goes with a red sauce not a green sauce and that may change the taste." ( Now this made us more upset) . Red sauce or green sauce or not - it does not matter if that particular chile is going bad. They left it at that even though that person can't eat this anymore because their stomach may go bad but they did not offer a solution and kept saying " we made it fresh this morning ." I understand it was made fresh that morning , however , a customer is telling you what they are tasting and should be listened to instead of brushing off what the problem is and acknowledging what the customer is stating. Definitely need to improve with their customer service. read more

Came in today and I ordered a couple tacos. I asked for green sauce and limes on the side. The lady literally said "we don't carry green sauce and our limes are very expensive" I asked how much are a side of limes and she says 50 cents. I'm like I can pay 50 cents for a side of limes, that's not expensive at all lol. Then she proceeds to tell me that they pay about $200 for a box of limes and it's super pricey for them. Idk it seems like she just didn't want to sell me some limes?? Or me purchasing some lime slices would hurt their inventory?? I dont know, the whole interaction was weird, insulting and unprofessional. Not only that but I came here to their Yelp account and THEY DO carry green sauce. Why lie about that? Did you guys just not want to serve me?? Yeah I definitely won't be returning which sucks because I live close by, I would've became a regular, brought friends/ family and helped their business. Casa Taquito is a great place to eat authentic Mexican food. It's roomy so finding a table is usually not an issue. I ordered a chilaquiles con huevos with Christmas sauce. It was filling and tasty. A selling point to me is breakfast items are available all day. Unfortunately for me today that I only saw the board that they have pozole on my way out. Next time then. Service here is great. Our waitress stopped by a couple of times to refill out ice teas, otherwise left us alone to our conversations. The only drawback to me is its location, kind of hidden on Green River drive in Corona. This place is a favorite in Corona. I love that the family that owns the restaurant has mainly family working there. That is why the food is so good and the menu remains consistent. When something is great you dont change it and people come here because for years the food you crave remains. Amazing mole, amazing chili Verde, amazing abondigas, amazing burritos. My husband walked into this family owned establishment to order a meal to take home. The employees were fantastic with helping us decide what to order. My husband is on a carnivore diet and they were able to help him alter a meal due to the diet needs which was amusing to watch because the amount of customer service they provided was fabulous. I got the grilled chicken nachos with a side of albondigas soup. Super yummy and I did not feel heavy after eating it. I would recommend getting extra Pico De Gallo since it had a wonderful taste with minimal ingredients. My husband got grilled shrimp and steak. They gave him a great portion and it was under $20. Recently moved to this area and this is the closest Mexican food place by my home. I have to say that I got lucky. This is a smallish family owned restaurant and it never disappoints. I have eaten here at least 1x a week in the past month. Service is always great and super friendly. Everything I have tried so far I have enjoyed. My go to meal is the chili relleno and chkn enchilada combo. Adding the dinner salad is a must for me. I really love the ranch dressing here, go figure lol.
