I have been to a lot of hookah bars in the area . I have been to very expensive hookah lounge, and very cheap hookah lounges . This is by far my favorite hookah lounge I have ever been to. Prices are very good, the staff is very attentive, and the seats are comfy black leather. What more can I say? I went to to Cassanova this past weekend and I have to say I am very disappointed. The staff was rude and argumentative with me when I told them that they charged me for items that I never ordered. The seating is limited for the amount of people that there. The couches are torn, ripped and had some sticky liquid all over it. The restroom was dirty with paper towels all over the floor and urine on the toilet seat. The price for a hookah was decent but they seem to skimp on the hookah tobacco because our hookah died after about 15 minutes. It took the waiter 20 minutes to bring us a refill then at least another 15 to get more coals so we could enjoy the damn thing. The upside of cassanova was the DJ. He played music that everyone seemed to like and mixed it up from some throwback jams to stuff you hear on the radio now and even a few EDM tracks that got people up on the small dance floor that they have . Too be completely honest if the music wasn't as good as it was I would have walked out 5 minutes after getting there. The parking lot is dark and to me felt very unsafe. We came from out of town and were shocked by the rates and rules at some of the other spots. We ended up at Casanova kind of randomly but were so glad to find it. The owner, a wonderfully kind and chatty Lebanese-American lady took great care of us, along with her trusty sidekick Bana. They provided excellent service, gave us extra desserts, and made sure we never had old coal. We were so happy we came back the next night too. The ambiance is lax and comfortable. The hooka is fairly priced and Bana is excellent at keeping it running. We were kind of dressed up in festive attire and no one gave us a bother. A very pleasant experience. Writing this review three months later bc it was memorable. If we ever end up in Dallas again we will come here and I'm sure we will be remembered. read more

I spent $42 on a pineapple hookah with a chilled hose and I'm not sure why. Don't get me wrong, the customer service was 100% awesome, but the hookah itself didn't have heavy smoke and the chilled hose wasn't very cold. I'm only giving this place 2 stars because of the customer service. I had a much better experience at another location about a mile away last week. I chose Casanova because the other spot was packed tonight. I left pretty dizzy with a headache and won't be returning. read more

I am disappointed by the "owner". He has absolutely no idea what he is doing. He walks around with a face that makes you feel very unwelcome.... also, I accidentally walked in the back and found out that they are not even cleaning the hookahs properly. He will over charge you even though clear as day it says "11.99" on the menu. He only allows 4 coals per hookah.....a night! That is obviously a joke. We love the mother though! She's great, the total opposite, quite bubbly and sweet. Just don't waste your time with this douche lord. It's not worth it. Plus.....the dj that was there that night was horrible. terrible place. They charge you for everything. there is a dj charge (yes they charge you to listen to music) after 10:00 pm, 5 dollars per person. there is also a byob charge, 3 dollars for every person drinking. The service here was sub par. I was with a group of friends. We asked for new coals many time and it took them over 15 minutes to get new coals, and they weren't even busy. There was maybe 9 or 10 other people there. That's not even the worst part. the manager is very unreasonable. we were charged almost double the amount we should have been. We asked her why we were charged so much. she said "its our policy". We said we are not going to pay until the check was sorted out. the manager threatened to call the police, we said please. she never called the police. so she knows she was doing something wrong. There is also a mandatory 'gratuity' (tip) charge on the receipt. It is 20%. I would have been fine with paying that much but the service was terrible. and the fact that they charge you a tip without your permission made me not want to pay a tip at all. "It's our policy" the manager said. At this point we were tired of arguing with this incompetent Neanderthal so we agreed to pay the overpriced check. I've been to many hookah bars before this, and I thought they were being sneaky about the checks, but it was nothing compared to this hookah bar. Terrible environment. Awful service. And don't try arguing about your check or you will be there for a lot longer than you planned. Never come here. Also the hookah tasted like stale underwear. read more

much more chill than any other hookah bar I've been to in the area,, it's not as crowded and loud on weeknights and my friends and I can actually communicate over the music (don't go on weekends, prices are much much higher, but that's sort of the well all hookah bars are on weekends) service is okay, depending on who you get to wait on you. good flavors as well read more

I was quite satisfied with the service and vibe the first time I attended Casanova. However, the second time I went I was highly disappointed. We bought 1 hookah and one refill and he charged us 65 dollars. We asked if we could review the bill. He told us all sorts of excuses. He told us "If you don't pay there's police outside our facility and we will all go to jail." I felt like we were being doubted! Money wasn't the issue. The fact that we did not feel very welcoming nor did I feel appreciated as a customer. To disregard any issues we paid the tab and left. I won't be attending Casanova any longer. Nor will my friends. I recently went to this hookah bar and had bad service. Everything was ok until my friends and I decided to leave. The waiter added up an expensive bill that did not make any sense. I got charged $5 for not smoking hookah and we got charged another $5 for sitting in the 'VIP' area. I talked to the owner Mo and he told me the waiter should have informed us which he didn't. Then he said he'd give us $5 back and he added "I like to do business with Americans, this is why I don't like to do business with Arabs." He tries to rip us off then he blames it on my race. I don't get it since he's Arab too. Anyways, he lost my business. I disputed the charges with my bank. I don't recommend going here unless you want to get ripped off. read more

If there was an option for no stars that's is what I would give this place I waited 15 minutes to get a hookah when and I finally got it I was seated next to random people I didn't know know my hookah tasted horrible I got my coals changed twice and then over hear a lady whom claims to be the manger tell her employee to hurry me out of there so they could sit other people and on top of all that I recommend that y'all check your recipes the menu says 13.99 single flavor hookah after this business robs you you'll end up paying over 20 dollars a hookah and the employees don't even get to money you tip them I want to give my server a tip and he said don't have worry about it man I'm not allowed to keep it read more

The reviews for this place are pretty good so I was surprised it wasn't all that great for me. The customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Our waiter clearly hated his job and life as he was in the worst mood the entire night. The actually hookah was pretty good but half way through it started to taste like plastic and chemicals - the owner smoked it and even confirmed it tasted that way and then proceeded to tell us that's what this particular flavor tastes like after smoking it for a while... what? She switched it out for another flavor and it still tasted like chemicals, I'm assuming something was in the hose, but rather than nag our extremely grumpy waiter I thought it was better to just shut up. The hummus was pretty good but the baba ganoush was the most bland I'd ever had. Baba ganoush is a favorite of mine but I didn't even eat half of it (although, maybe my palette was tainted from the chemicals and plastic I was smoking...). Also, they charge you for every single little thing - they're like the Spirit Airlines of hookah places. Make sure you pay attention to the added gratuity they tack on. read more
