Pretty cool vibe. Music was good. My waiter sucked ass. Menu showed one price but actual bill was way higher than I expected. FYI - don't get the pineapple (exotic flavors) hookah. It's OK but not worth it. Regular flavors will do. I may go back as long as I don't get the same waiter (short, cocky, African-American dude who did more dancing than serving). Great atmosphere, didn't try hookah. I've been to a few hookah spots where they have torn up couches and probably dirty hookahs BUT not at Casanova! I was very impressed by the atmosphere, the furniture was comfy, clean, and still intact. They have plenty of TVs for each section. There's a few for bringing in your own alcohol and they don't serve food. It is literally a hookah spot. I didn't try the hookah because I was there just to hang out with some friends, but I looked at the menu, the flavors looked appealing. We were told that because the DJ was coming at 10pm, they were going to charge us an additional $10 per person to stay. We already paid for hookah, food, and $5 per person to BYOB on their premises. My favorite hookah place! A little far from where I live, but worth the trip. They have ice tips and bubbles. It's decently newer than most of the other places in the area, which means the couches won't give leave you feeling unclean as you sit down. My favorite flavors here are white peach and sex on the beach. Service was decently timed and they are definitely on top of their game with keep your coals refreshed. The last time I came here was a Saturday night around 10pm, and it wasn't super packed at all, which can be a good or bad thing. Good in my case! Adds to the more lax vibe that I prefer. There was a DJ playing popular dance songs as well as an adorable belly dancer who tries to get the crowd involved! The music was a nice mix of popular music, hip hop, and Arabic electronica. The drinks were fantastic, the Turkish coffee had a nice cardamom background, the hot chocolate was rich, and the smoothies were strong without being cloying. The service was phenomenal. Our server was Mo(e?), and he was incredibly courteous, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and somehow seemed to always know right when he was needed. The hookah was great, and the coals were always prompt. We were sitting in the corner, right under a speaker, and when we asked if they would turn down the music a touch he took care of it right away, no muss or fuss. Atmosphere chill. Staff chill. Pricing not chill. As soon as I entered there was a cover charge of $5. Which is kind've ok. Then one of the employees comes up and tells me it's going to be higher pricing for after 1am. I'm like what that isn't really a rule. So I go with it. Then I get the bill right away before even getting any hookah or anything at all. And on top of the raised price of $21 for the hookah, the bill has $28 charge adding up to $33 . I ask why $28 and the employee says gratuity. Which means I'm tipping about $5 considering tax for no services provided with no choice provided in the matter. That is wrong. I was visiting from California last weekend and was in the mood to hookah. All my cousins recommended we go Casa Nova, and I can see why! What sets this place apart from any other place, besides its beautiful ambiance, is the customer service. When I was there, I believe the owner's mom was taking care of the lounge. The owner's mom was very nice, and went way out of her way to make sure my visit was as comfortable as possible. It was awesome that she was even changing up the music to match her customers (I.e. Bollywood, Persian, etc.). If I lived nearby, i would definitely be a regular but I'm definitely going to hit up this spot every time I visit from CA. Moe is awesome. Came here with my girlfriend earlier in the evening. We had the Tequila Sunrise with Pirate Cave. The seats had a couple holes in them from burn marks. On the other hand, they were crazy comfortable. If you want an outdoors kind of hookah place to take a new date, I don't recommend this spot. It is a little too comfortable and dark- clean enough but I probably would only come here with close friends. The hookah is solid which is the most important! Oh. They didn't have cookies like on their menu offered :( read more

This is the best hookah bar I've ever been to. It's decorated beautifully the couches are crazy comfortable the hookah is delicious tasting and the staff are so nice. The couches do have some holes but because everything else is so great it more than makes up for it. I live in Colorado and I've been to quite a few lounges in my day and this is my absolute favorite. They keep the hot air out and it isn't way too smoky. The music is the perfect level and even with just 3 speakers and a huge subwoofer they're perfectly placed. It is so clean and organized and professional. The lighting is perfect as well. It was my first time in Dallas and since the hookah bar was super close to DoubleTree by Hilton, where I was staying, went there to have a chill Sunday night. The hookah is perfect (had watermelon+mint) , comfy couches, nice music and very helpful waiters! I had really high hopes for this place but all I can say is customer service is a joke. It's a cute place and was super excited to try it. I have no problem paying a cover I've been to cloud 9, Cairo and peace pipes all within 10 mins of the same location and their covers are equal to or more than Casanova. My friends showed up about 20 mins before me, didn't pay a cover and I planned to get there before 10 specifically to avoid the cover because why waste 10 dollars? Right? I was really excited I walked in at 9:58 I just waited patiently about 5 mins later a Waiter walked up to me saying hey there's a cover. I explained that I got here a few mins ago and purposely aimed for before 10. I even asked her when the cover began and she said 10 o clock. Another waiter came up to me and asked me the same thing and I explained and he agreed. Then the owner came up to me and said doesn't matter it's 10 now so u have to pay. I told him I got here at 9:58 he didn't care. He said I already charged 2 other tables that came in before you cover so u have to pay to. So that means he charged two tables cover before 10. I tried to explain the situation. Our friends had already been here he even tried to say I charged them to get s table. Well we're here with people who already have a table... he was just making up things at that point. We said what ever and didn't even argue about it. The hookah was ok. I paid cash, it's a little expensive for hookah. My friend paid with card, gave the owner three different cards. And he said they were getting declined. Instead of being nice and trying to swipe again or check the machine the owner was rude and accusing saying you have to pay. He even pointed st me and said u need to pay for him if he can't. My friend explained he had just used his card a couple hours ago and it worked. He asked if he could check the machine. The owner threw a huge fit but finally decide to try and use his phone. The first card my friend handed him worked fine. So it was the machine. Instead of fixing these small things with a little customer service the owner was very rude and just out for money. I understand it's a business but there's ways to bring back customers and I will definitely never be back. Not worth being treating terribly. read more

I lived in Dubai for a while and this is the absolutely the best hookah place in Dallas. The owners are true Arabs that know what good shisha is and they will stay open for you if you need. They play all kind of music like Arabic, Indian, English and anything else. The hookah is traditional and new. Would recommend to new hookah smokers and experts would find the place lovely. 11/10 for anyone read more

DO NOT COME HERE. THEY MESS UP YOUR BILL. I've been here twice -- the first time so was with friends who paid, and the second I came on my own accord and paid my own bill. On both occasions, the bill wasn't right and we had to argue with management about the random upcharges. This is by far the worst service I've ever had at a Hookah place. The music was good but the management is really trying to screw people over so watch your bill. First of all, we went on a Saturday, a group of 3 people, and before we even sit down they're asking for a 5 dollar cover in a tiny packed place. They don't even have room for us to SIT DOWN and already asking us to pay a cover. Okay fine. After sitting there for 30 minutes, unattended, a nice server finally stops by, being us menus and charge us the cover fee. We ordered our hookah, humus, and an order of 12 wings, which the waitress suggested. - Mind you the wings aren't on the menu so who knows what the actual price is. Our server said the wings were 12 for 9.99. When our server got to the table, there was only eight in the basket with a handful of Doritos. We had to wait 20 minutes for the next four. So we're hanging out, and like 4 hours after being there and drinking my Crown and Coke- both of which I bought with me because it's BYOB-- the owner comes over and says "you can't have your own mixers in here. I'm going to have to charge you for your mixers." We apologize because clearly we didn't know, but absolutely not. I'm not paying for something I brought through your door. So at that point, some random guy actually brings me additional soda with the intention of charging me for mixers- mind you at this point we're already DONE drinking and ready to go home. I refuse it and send it back. Two minutes later, some other random server tries to bring us the exact same mixers I refused to pay for. To be honest, this is the most customer service we've seen all night. Everyone else, aside from our initial server, has been walking past us left and right. Like I said- I've already been there 4 hours, and drank all I was going to. Then we decide to leave, ask for the check and a third random server brings it to us with all these random upcharges. I flag down our original server and ask what's going on- and they go talk to the owner because he's has charged us an additional 5 dollars per person (mind you only two of the three people in my group was drinking) for a "BYOB fee" charge PLUS a 20% gratuity. We asked him what the BYOB fee was for: he said it was because at a bar they would charge you for the liquor you're drinking, and by law they cannot serve alcohol after 1:30am, so they're doing us a "two favors" by charging the 5 dollar fee. As for the 20% gratuity, even our server was like "WTF", because they're only supposed to charge the 20% over groups of five. Bottom line: you'll be charged (1) to walk in the door and sit on their couch, (2) to drink your own liquor and (3) for A+ gratuity charge despite the C- customer service. read more

worst. first. experience. on. hookah. ever. a bunch of friends and i decided to go on a sunday night after some drinking and eating. decided to grab a pot of tea and maybe on hookah between the 7 of us. only 3 of us is actually smoking and the rest are just there for hang out. but the store decided to charge us 5 dollar per person who are NOT smoking. even if we ordered tea. and would not let us smoke unless we order 2. after discussing with the owner and the worker we decided to just leave. you guys are not even busy. only 3 people is smoking. i get it if you guys are busy. but you aren't. what's the problem? never coming here again. just take my advice and go to sultans instead. this place is definitely a no go. read more
