What a beautiful place :) Laurie and Rick are so friendly. You can tell they put so much thought into their guest experience. They have so many suggestions in terms of what to do around the area as well. The rooms were absolutely spotless and the views are gorgeous. It's also nice and peaceful. All the little touches made it such a luxurious experience - the clean bath rooms, the homemade cookies, the guest area stocked with drinks/coffee/tea, the embroidered napkins and personalized mugs. Our room had a step-in waterfall shower which was incredible. Great room is stocked with board games and brochures. Rooms come with smart TVs for unwinding. And oh my gosh the breakfast was absolutely filling, delicious and healthy to boot! Laurie was so accommodating with my vegetarian diet as well (she made me veggie sausage). Homemade blueberry streusel baked french toast, sausage, and fresh berry parfait. All in all a 5 star experience. read more

We stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast in October during peak autumn colors. The innkeepers are wonderful. Husband has Celiac's and is very sensitive to cross-contamination; therefore, we are always super cautious and apprehensive when eating out because he can get very sick. They took such precaution to preparing his meal, and he didn't get sick. The food was absolutely scrumptious and very filling. The room (Barlet) had a nice layout and the view from the room and balcony were spectacular. It was so comfy having a fireplace in the room and in the great room. The innkeepers were very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas and especially about it trails for hiking. They recommended an extraordinary golden larch trail. read more

OH MY GOODNESS! For a B & B that opened in winter of 2009, this place has NO mistakes. Beautiful views of the mountains and pear orchards, private balconies/decks in each room, gas fireplace and flatscreen TV in the room. Beds have down pillows and comforters, with an closet with robes and plenty of room for storage. The bathroom is amazing, depending on which room you are in, some have spa jacuzzi tubs and they all have HUGE walk-in showers. Everything is brand new and immaculate. There is a great room where you are served breakfast and is used as a relaxation area during the day. There are tons of books and magazines that you can curl up by the fire and read, and a good selection of DVDs to take back to the room with you. Also, there is a Guest Service Center that has coffee available 24 hours a day with fresh baked cookies constantly in circulation. And the breakfasts? O.M.G. The first day, we had homemade granola with yogurt and berries, then local sausage and baked pear french toast that was AMAZING. The second day, we had a southwestern quiche, local ham, and fresh fruit. Also, the local apple cider made in Cashmere is wonderful. While you're eating breakfast you're also looking at panoramic views of the mountains. Rick and Laurie Shorett, the innkeepers, are fantastic! They are always alert and accommodating for anything you might need or anything particular you are wanting to do or see while you are at their inn. They also have a "Forgot It" drawer for many toiletries that people forget, and they are complimentary. The prices are insanely reasonable for this kind of exceptional service. In the era of "fake news", the recent "review" by "Anna L." lit my BS meter right up. First of all, a 1 star rating from someone who didn't even make a reservation??? How can "Anna L." be allowed to give such a poor rating when she never even stayed at Cascade Valley Inn (CVI)? Can Yelp answer this? How do we know if this even happened? Anyway, being a long time happy customer (my wife and I have stayed more times than we can count), I decided to file a complaint with Yelp about this angry, intolerant, fake "review". I can't emphasize enough about how kind and sweet Rick and Laurie (CVI's owners) are. I would like to think most of us have a natural response to stand up for others when they get unfairly attacked and that is exactly what prompted this response. "Anna L." also put a nasty review on Trip Advisor, wow. CVI has some phone issues and here comes intolerance and hate with multiple slanderous efforts! Hmmm, let's see here. As of today (11/4/18), Cascade Valley Inn has 106 reviews on Trip Advisor. 103- excellent, 5 star. 1- Very good, 4 star. 1- Average, 3 star. 1- Terrible, 1 star (guess who that's from?) Question... who ya gonna trust? Angry Anna or over 100 completely satisfied people? As the old saying goes, "you can't please everyone" because there are certain people who simply refuse to be pleased...and in turn resort to mean actions, like online bullying in this case. That being said, we all have bad days so hopefully "Anna L." will realize that bullying and intolerance are not kind and do the right thing and edit her "review". Onto my updated review! Since my last review, Cascade Valley Inn has made some great improvements. There's a really nice, private sitting area/patio around the back with multiple chairs, an umbrella, lot's of flowers and, of course, great views! They've repainted the Inn and have upgraded their WiFi system, which is more robust and responsive. Still, after all this time, CVI is still clean, comfortable and classy. The 3 "C"s of a quality Inn, IMO. (I just made that up but you can use it, lol). CVI is a hidden gem and must be experienced by any who travel a little off the beaten path and appreciate the peaceful tranquility that awaits outside of the busy city. read more

WAS going to book a two night stay since the B&B received a 9.8 review.Not being familiar with the area and the B&B seems to be out side of any city I wanted to call them about fine dining for dinner, how far, where, what restaurant etc(they provide breakfast). I have been calling the B&B for over an hour with no answer....And no response to voice mail or email.Sorry, I will not commit to a non-refundable booking for $426 if I can't reach you on the phone, email or voice mail for over an hour! 9.8 star rating aside. read more

I have been bugging my fiance to stay at a B&B forever! He just thought all B&Bs were covered in floral patterns and doilies...This was the best possible first experience at a B&B EVER!! If you ever wanted to rethink the concept of a B&B to modernize it, this is exactly what it should be! There is not a single detail over looked. The views are breath taking. The rooms are spacious. The food is amazing. Starting with them showing us around the great room. Even with Laurie recovering from a broken ankle, she was in great spirits, and even hobbled around a little. She was very knowledgeable about the area and the goings on. The rooms are fantastically done. They are beautiful, cozy and inviting. The walk in shower is to die for! I would love to have a shower half that size in our house! Even though we were on the ground floor the view was incredible! The inn sits on top of a hill and over looks the whole valley. They told us they looked for over a year to find that place and they certainly nailed it! The rooms are quiet! We happen to go the one weekend there was flash flooding. With thunderstorms, rain, and wind, you would have guessed it was sunny and calm outside with how quiet the rooms were. The breakfast was FANTASTIC! It was fresh fruit, Spanish quiche and ham. Incredible! The company we had was hilarious! We sat at breakfast for over an hour with complete strangers laughing and enjoying our meal. It's really a testament to the environment Rick and Laurie have created at their little slice of heaven. Even the community restroom had beautifully creative touches. In the vessel sink there were rocks with cute words. Just fantastic! As we were driving away we were already scheming how to come back! read more

We just booked our third visit with Cascade Valley Inn. We haven't been in that area for a few years, and can't wait to go back. It's clean, comfortable and elegant. We were so lucky to stumble upon it the first time we visited. It's quite a gem! The hosts are unbelievably helpful, kind, and accommodating. They helped us out with dinner recommendations and ideas for fun things to do in the area. We love this place! I wasn't planning to write a review, but I had to after reading the ridiculous post from Anna L. Anna, it's completely unreasonable to expect the hosts to respond to your phone call or email within an hour. They were most likely tending to their guests and all of the details that make this such a wonderfully amazing place. read more

This was my first time at a B&B, and it exceeded ALL of my expectations! The building is very modern, and has a gorgeous atmosphere- the view from our private balcony looking over the pear orchards was breathtaking. Had an outstanding stay at the Cascade Valley Inn! Rick and Laurie were such gracious hosts and their setup is fantastic. They have thought of everything including a forget-me-not drawer! My fiancé and I stayed here despite the current fires in the area. I called practically everyday to check on conditions and Laurie had no problems answering my questions, she was more than helpful. The house is nestled on the top of a hill overlooking many orchards and waking up that serene, breathtaking view is worth the trip alone. Being treated to a delicious breakfast afterward makes it a must visit. If you find yourself in the cashmere Wenatchee or lake Chelan area look to stay here! read more

We are definitely in love with this B&B. We had to find a room at last minute, and they happened to have a last minute cancellation, we are glad those 2 aligned. The inn is not your typical B&B, thoughtfully built to take in the "million dollar" views, and tastefully decorated, with clean lines. The property is immaculate. The inn keepers Laurie and Rick are very attentive hosts, with a lot of knowledge about the surrounding area. If we are ever in this area again, we will be staying here. read more

Don't ever make a reservation here unless you want to be scammed. I stay at many hotels and rentals. I had to go to the hospital they refused to refund my money. So I was charged over $200 for no reason. It was horrible. I have never had a hotel do this. The lady didn't care at all and was very rude. So beware if you have to cancel for any reason you don't have control over. This hotel is out to make a fast dollar. She claimed she wouldn't try and re rent and made no effort to do so. read more
