Everything about this restaurant is fabulous and I'm so glad we were finally able to stop in. Best sausage gravy in town. The Benedict with bacon, spinach and mushrooms was spot-on as well.

The Fresh Roasted Turkey sandwich was more like a shredded lettuce sprout sandwich. 1 very small piece of turkey slice you can buy at any deli and small spread of cheese that was so small you can't taste it. The cranberry was about half a teaspoon in one side of the bread. Bread was kinda stale. Really want to live this place but they keep getting more and more cheap rather than the quality it used to be. Not worth the money.

This new satellite location of the "Wild Huckleberry" opened today, 5/1/2024. In the tradition of its sister restaurant, Huckleberry North promises the same sumptuous breakfasts and bakery items. One difference however, is the addition of a drive-thru window, one of very few breakfast-drive-thru's in Wenatchee. These photos were the first to be posted on the opening day announcement, plus a few I took. Check out the menus! ...and look at how huge the pastries are...oh my Gawd! This is, no doubt, a 5-Star clone of the long established and locally loved "Wild Huckleberry".

The food is amazing! They are pretty fast when it comes to service. The atmosphere is very low key and casual. This is an amazing restaurant.

Highly recommend the bagel sandwich (do the jalapeño cheddar!) and the cinnamon roll pancakes. We live in Seattle but considering making the trip out to come here again soon.

    | Room to Grow, Hoping for Better Next Time…read more We came to Petey's with high hopes. As a long-time Wenatchee resident who moved away in 2017, I was excited to try a new spot after recently moving back. I remembered this location as a family-run Mexican restaurant and was intrigued to see what Luis had done with the place--I've met him in the past and wanted to support the venture. First impressions were promising. We were greeted warmly by a friendly young man at the front, and shortly after sitting down, someone else brought us water without delay. The service started off strong and professional. Then our waitress arrived--and unfortunately, that's where things shifted. She didn't greet us or offer a smile--just asked if we wanted anything besides water. We placed our drink orders, but her demeanor felt cold and unwelcoming. When she returned with our drinks, the energy didn't improve. We placed our food order and hoped for the best. When our meals arrived, they looked good--but we were missing a couple of items. We let her know, and she corrected it quickly, which we appreciated. Still, she seemed frustrated and disengaged throughout. To top it off, while I was still eating, she returned--not to check on how things were--but to ask if we were ready to cash out. I let her know I wasn't quite finished yet. About ten minutes later, I motioned that we were ready, and she dropped the handheld payment device on the table without a word. No "how was everything?"--just silence. It was clear she was ready for us to go. Despite the lackluster service, I still left a 15% tip--because everyone has off days. And I genuinely want this place to succeed. The food was good, and the environment shows promise. We'll be back to give breakfast a try, and I'm hopeful the next visit reflects the pride and care that I know Luis wants this place to represent. I don't leave critical feedback lightly--but I know Luis will see this and take it as an opportunity to improve. - thanks for reading my review

We spotted Wenatchee…read moreNatural Foods, which was across our hotel, and it ended being one of our favorite spot to get sustenance. Located on the main street of Wenatchee, Wenatchee Natural Foods offers organic, sustainable items, with lots of locally made products. It's not the largest grocer, but the selection was fantastic. We were able to get some grocery items here during our weekend trip and also tried the items that they prepare at the cafe area towards the back of the store. At the cafe area, they have a large menu of different drinks, with smoothies that are worth checking out. I loved the chocolate smoothie, which they make with almond butter and vanilla whey, so it's naturally sweetened. I also ordered a bowl, which you can make based on the different ingredients they offer, like a base of rice or beans, with different proteins and veggies. I customized my bowl with rice, curry chickpeas, avocado and steak and seasonal veggies and it served as two meals, which was delicious. For those wanting to dine in, they have a seating area on the side of the store, with outdoor seating where it's dog-friendly. It's a win for Wenatchee to have a store like Wenatchee Natural Foods, offering a great selection of healthy, wholesome items in a community-centric setting. I'd come back here again when in the area.

---Something for everyone!--- I stopped for breakfast at…read more2:00PM on a Wednesday. The restaurant was busy at this location as this is the only Buzz Inn out of 12 locations in Washington that includes a gambling parlor room with Black Jack tables. However, the gambling parlor is separate from the dining area which was very quiet. I ordered an 6oz steak and eggs with country potatoes, sour dough bread, and coffee. The meal came quickly and it was hot and thoroughly delicious! (See pics). The trifold menu has breakfasts, lunches, dinners and desserts--most of the time-honored entrées we all remember. Andrea was my server, obviously a veteran, who topped my coffee frequently, offered a variety of steak sauces, answered all my questions about the restaurant and closed out my ticket with grace and gratitude, even gave me the senior discount without asking! The dining area is fully carpeted which muffles any noises, and makes the chairs glide smoothly--very easy to find a spot and slip into a chair. There's plenty of off-street parking and more than adequate restroom facilities. (Ha! ...I sound like I'm from the Health Dept.!) Every detail in the dining area was top cabin...right down to the spices, sauces, jams, jellies, salt'n'pepper trays, and menus ready at table-side. What's not to like? They checked all the boxes! - 5-STARS - Scott

The place was dirty, it had signage from the Wednesday Night liquor offerings, obviously, they cannot clean up their restaurant by the end of shift the next morning. Save yourself some money, get better service and cleaner food, go to Ellie's Restaurant by the airport.
