I'm kind of dumbfounded that so many people rave about this place. We have tried twice now and I love Neapolitan style pizza but this pizza is just odd. First, we got 3 different styles and each one are kinds we eat elsewhere also. There is a very odd taste to their cheese. And the tomato sauce is lacking in flavor. Our date of visit was Sunday evening 3/5/23 at 5:30pm, no line, and nobody sitting in the dining area when we sat down, the Evergreen & the Buckley were ordered. Looked like they were doing several take out orders. I have heard good things about Cascadia, and I don't want to be too judgmental about my first experience, this review hopefully helps them get better. Came here with my brother & parents, my brother had been here before and had good things to say. The ordering experience was fine, my parents ordered first, my brother and I ordered right after they did. They told us the pizzas would be about 20 minutes, no problem as we were eating here. Upon sitting down our parents pizza came out within five minutes of the order being placed, our order did not arrive for another 15 or 20 minutes. This tells me that their pizza had already been made, maybe somebody else had ordered it and canceled. Our parents pizza looked as if it had been sitting, and possibly reheated since the outer edges of the crust were burned. Our parents were not offered plates until my brother and my pizza arrived. Upon first impression our pizza looked great, but retrieving it from the pizza pan to the plate was a challenge because the pizza dough in the middle seemed to be well undercooked, if I did not get my hand completely under my slice all the toppings would've slid off the crust since there was no stability as the dough was not cooked in the middle. The taste of the toppings was good, but the dough was almost raw in the middle, our pizza also had many burn marks on the edges. Since Cascadia is known to be a good pizza place, I would say that they simply need to get a handle on their controls and consistency. When I am paying $27 for a 14" pizza, my expectation is that the pizza should be spot on. My hope is the the owners see this review and use this to adjust their process to bring more consistency to the finished product. I have managed restaurants and understand how much of a challenge it can be to have all the staff on the same page, and in a pizza joint this can change readily depending on who is doing the tossing and who is doing the cooking. Since this is also woodfired pizza, this could mean that the pizzas were not being properly managed in the oven. I like their concept, and will give Cascadia another shot because I do not believe it is fair to judge a place merely on one experience, and hope to give more stars in the future. read more

Great tasting pizza! After Tutta Bella I think Cascadia has one of the best tasting pizza I've ever had. I love that they allow customization. I don't eat animals or animal products so it's awesome that they have the option to leave that out. They have a really cool location overlooking the river. Good beer selection as well. An amazing hidden Maple Valley gem. Incredible people, views, gluten free pizza, and wine! You can drive up, walk to the window and order your pizza to take home. But, why do that and miss out on a relaxing view? They have an awesome outdoor dining experience that you may not realize is tucked behind the corner of this little spot. Order at the window, take a number, and they will bring your pizza to you. Enjoyed this place so much I came back with a friend and just enjoyed a bottle of wine together for several hours in this outdoor escape. Our favorite pizza joint! There are 3 elements to this review- Environment, customer service, and taste. All three surpass the 5-star rating. The employees of this place are so personable, they make you feel like you're friends and family. From the moment we stepped up to order, to when we left, they were so kind and helpful. We ordered a custom pizza and enjoyed it on the back terrace- the view of the river and heated tent was such a treat while we enjoyed our food. Not to mention- their beer is PHENOMENAL! They recently opened here in Maple Valley. We ordered online for pickup. They were very busy, but the pizza was ready at the scheduled time. We had pizza and cheesy bread sticks. Pizza was very good with lots of toppings and quality meat. The cheese bread sticks had plenty of cheese and garlic and were a tasty addition to our meal. read more

We were there one time as it was close to home. It was always packed with a customer line, so it must be amazing. Not! It is a sorry thing to call it hand crafted. These dudes are where it's at! My wife and I are here in Maple Valley as part of our honeymoon. We had a weird experience with the dasher (he put it in someone's house for some reason) and these dudes remade our pizzas no extra charge and even gave us a little coupon. I honestly never thought we would get to experience Cascadia's catering service/use our large deposit we gave them from our failed Covid wedding attempt in the summer of 2020. Since the time we had to cancel our original wedding plans, Shannon had reached out multiple times to see if there were any events they could cater for us and use up that deposit. I found it was extremely impressive of Shannon to keep reaching out to see how we could make something work, and I'm so glad we finally got to almost two years later when they recently catered my baby shower! The pizza, appetizers and salad were DELICIOUS I can't say enough good things about the quality of Cascadia's food. Also, I believe it was Isaac who was there the day of making the pizza, he was so kind, attentive and courteous he is truly a great employee and his service went above and beyond any of my expectations. In addition, Isaac also made sure that my husband got to try their pizza as well and was really excited that I was able to bring a pizza home to him after the baby shower and we both agreed we can't wait to come visit your store front and try more items on the menu.
