    pizza is decent

The pasta is not house made... box pasta!!! the pizza is ok but not the best pizza. decent American italian food, not authentic Italian.

For sure one of our favorite pizza places in Houston. The only critique is it's missing some Italian seasoning. But man it was so good. Service was nice and didn't feel rushed.

I just went with my boyfriend to Antonio's flying pizza And was our first time. I can say we were amazed by the excellent food and service. Definitely is a gem on the city of Houston, that I highly recommend to go. The service was very polite and professional, and food was good amount and just delicious. Was for sure not our last visit. Congratulations. PK

Food was amazing. Drove past this place a million times and never once realized this Gem was here. Cozy little spot too. Service was amazing start to finish. Food was fresh and full of flavor. Place was clean and maintained. Pizza had a great crunch. Pasta was awesome and full of flavor. Desert was really good we forgot to take a picture of the full desert lol. Definitely coming back to visit another day. Thank you for the amazing time we had.

Place been around for longtime , so decided to give a try . We order fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was really basic. & the pizza was OK , but I noticed the place is only welcomes white people , all the staff is Hispanic , everyone in the restaurant was served bread asap but it wasn't offered to us , it was very noticeable white friendly it's sad , I won't be back

Another excellent meal. We had fried calamari and tomato salad as appetizers. For entrees we had chicken cacciatore and veal Marsala with some capellini. We chose the Tuscan Chianti to accompany the meal. No room for dessert this time. Very busy on a Saturday night, and it was great to see so many groups and families.. Antonio is 84 now.

I really enjoyed my visit to Antonio's! I went with a large party, and we were seated in the back, but that didn't affect our service at all. The waiters were so attentive and my glass was never left empty for long. The restaurant was quiet, and they were even kind enough to turn off the overhead music in the room when we requested it. I ordered the chicken Alfredo dinner and a Caesar salad. The salad was amazing! The Alfredo was standard, nothing overly special but very yummy. I feel like the food was a tad overpriced for the quality, but I got to take home leftovers so I'm happy with the quantity. I'd definitely return!

I measure Italian restaurants by their pasta with meat. No fancy cheese or plate just pure work. Didn't disappoint. Excellent service. Good parking space front and back.

Food was great! The disappointing look on her face is just the way that she looks at me.

I waited too long to finally try this place out. I have searched high and low around Houston for a really good Classic Italian restaurant. Classic Italian food made right. This is the food that I grew up on in the Northeast. The sauce is the highlight on many of their pasta dishes (as it should be). The pizza absolutely slaps. New York style with no flop! My pre-teen son loved the Fettuccine Alfredo so much, he didn't once try to sneak any tiktok dancing videos while seated. Btw..I think this is the only 5 star review that I've ever given to an Italian restaurant. I'm interested in coming back during the weekends to see what the flying pizza is all about. The only flying food I'm accustomed to is by my wife whenever I overcook fish.

We had high hopes after seeing them on tv and looking at the reviews. Overall it was okay. We were greeted and seated right away. Antonio was there and welcomed us with a smile and small talk. We ordered stuffed mushrooms and cheese-sticks, pep pizza and another one with prosciutto Everything was okay but seemed bland and lacked flavor. We just had higher hopes for the experience.

I'm from NYC I know good Italian food. Literally 2 places in Houston that do it for me and Antonio's flying pizza is one of them. My family and I love coming here for our Italian fix. I always get the baked ziti. It never disappoints. My kids get the chicken parm. the pasta is great and the sauce is delicious.

Great pizza eating experience. It has that classic pizzeria feel. I only tasted the 10" pizza with pepperoni and sausage so I cannot comment on a variety of dishes. However the pizza was hot, tasted freshly made and the ingredients were very tasty. The exterior and interior is dated, although it doesn't feel run down. It was clean inside and out. I gave it 3 stars because it's average atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive as I was in a group of 24 people over lunch. The parking is a little tight so be patient finding a spot. There is parking both in the back and front. I'd recommend and I'll be back.

Over the past month I have visited Antonio's twice for lunch. It is in a stand alone building with its own parking lot with a BIG sign out front. You can't miss it. This Italian eatery is an old time Houston institution that is famous for its frisbee like dough throwing exhibitions that are done for the benefit of diners. Since I didn't observe that either time for lunch I'm assuming they only do that at dinner time. Oh well... The lunch menu offers several options at reduced prices over the dinner menu. I believe the serving sizes are the same. My first visit was for pasta with meat sauce for $11. The meal came with bread and after a short wait delivered to the table. It was a good tasting meal with both flavor, quantity and value. On the dinner menu this same meal is $5 more. My second visit was for a pizza at lunch and I went with my usual order of beef, mushrooms and onions. For a 10" pie the lunch cost was $12.75 and at dinner it would have been $18.50. I guess the frisbee throwing show during dinner time is worth it?? Anyway that pizza was very good taste wise with plenty of toppings on the pizza. I would order it again but only at that price. Both visits were with prompt and professional table service.

Cesar Salad with dinner role was very good.

Some of y'all are silly gooses Anyway, my friend and I came by on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy! The inside of the restaurant is decorated with so many Italian knick knacks which gives this place a cozy vibe. Instead of ordering an appetizer and an entree, my friend and I decided to order 3 things from the appetizer menu: Arancini Montanare Impepata Napoletana The arancini was delicious! The exterior/crust wasn't too thick and was fried nicely. As for the filling, it had cheese, beef, and tomato sauce- yum! I really enjoyed the montanare because it came with 3 different toppings. Not to mention, the bread was fantastic! All 3 were great but my favorite was the one with smoked provolone, anchovy, and the red chili on top (I believe that's what the red topping is). The Impepata Napoletana was another solid dish- loved the white wine sauce with garlic and pepper. Although it was a tad bit too salty for me, it paired nicely with the bread. For dessert, my friend got the pistachio gelato and I ordered the Tiramisu. Both were a great way to end dinner. Food was wonderful, our waiter was very friendly/welcoming, and the vibes were lovely. This spot is a gem!

It is a family place - kids everywhere, climbing booths and kicking seats - not the staff's fault, but know that your kiddos will feel at home here. Staff was very apologetic but was unable to offer any of their specialty items due to understaffing or lack of availability of ingredients (server was unclear). Drove an hour and a half for nothing, it seems. Disappointing... What we did get was tasty, but it wasn't what I wanted and therefore did not redeem the trip. The cost was not worth it, in my opinion.

They need to have a way to date the containers for each items they make. I just bought it last night and was quite upset when I was making late dinner. As soon as I got home, I kept everything refrigerated. Luckily I didn't mix it in with the pasta so I end up using a different sauce I already had on hand.
