Bottomless mimosas for brunch? Say less! Went for lunch and had a nice time! They offer bottomless mimosas for weekend brunch and for $10 were a nice addition to our meal. The popovers are a perfect starter. Buttery, light, flaky perfection. The portion sizes were quite large and the lunch options were tried were crisp and fresh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was helpful and the cozy booths made it more intimate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have to go back for dinner as their menu is large and has lots of tempting options!

    Sautéed Walleye (4/5)

I got the Sautéed Walleye (4/5), which was good! The crust could be a bit crunchier, but the fish still has a great taste. The house salad included with the entree was underwhelming (2/5); it was just lettuce and mandarin oranges when we went. Since you have to order sides separately; it is a little expensive for what it is. The service was good (4/5); our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is well decorated and has a nice patio for the summer when it isn't too hot (4/5).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I came here to celebrate Mother's Day with my family and it was a cute spot! It was everyone's first time coming here so we didn't really know what to expect. It's a nicer restaurant and they have pretty friendly staff! I loved that they had so many options for drinks and the pours of wine were generous for the price! I ended up ordering the steak tip pasta with a popover and caesar salad. I loved that they brought out the popovers and salads family style! Both were very good. The pasta wasn't my favorite though. The actual pasta and steak were perfectly cooked but it was more of a really peppery stroganoff rather than a garlic cream sauce. They ended up bringing us out cake to share with the table since we were celebrating mother day which was so kind! Overall it was a pretty good experience and I could see us coming back with our family again!

My cousin & I were looking for a place to grab dinner and a drink near Burnsville. My cousin was feeling coconut shrimp & crab cakes and Jensen's has both. I briefly skimmed the menu as well prior to going but didn't fully realize it was a steakhouse until we got the actual menu. When we first arrived it wasn't too busy, right before dinner time but as the time passed it did pick up. The crowd was mostly older people. We ordered the Malibu beach for drinks and it was tropical & good. For appetizers we ordered the coconut shrimp (my cousin) & spinach artichoke dip. My cousin enjoyed the shrimp and the spinach artichoke was really good, it had a nice little kick to it as well. For dinner my cousin ordered the steak tip pasta which came with a salad & popovers & I ordered a loaded baked potato w/ no bacon bits. The food was good. The prices definitely told me it was a bit of a fancier restaurant but on par with most steak houses. Our server was nice, very attentive. She would come by and clear the finished dishes often. Overall a decent restaurant, not sure I'd personally go back due to limited options for my personal diet but if you like steak I'd say maybe try it.

Jensen's has been one of my family's favorite go-to spots for probably 20 years. If you're looking for a classic supper club style dining experience, they are consistently providing good service and great food. Steaks are always well prepared, every meal comes with fresh baked popovers (one of my family's favorite things) and they have an excellent bar (arguably the best martini south of the river). My son loves to get a steak AND a side (another meal) of their lobster Mac and cheese. It can be a bit loud at dinner, but there are some more intimate tables as well. We have tons of great birthday, anniversary and celebration memories that we have shared at this solid classic.

    Well worth the $34

You pay when you first arrive with cash or card (they only take visa and mastercard). Note that if you pay with a card and add a tip, they will just give you cash from the register for the tip amount to leave at your table when you leave. I would bring cash to tip your server with at your table. After paying, you can seat yourself anywhere and a server will come by and take your beverage order. The buffet includes unlimited soft drinks, drip coffee, and hot tea. Their Dr. Pepper is extra syrupy compared to normal fountain drinks, would recommend! Throughout the meal, the server will clear your empty plates and at the end of the meal they will drop off fortune cookies and towelettes. Crab days are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. During these days they serve lil crabs. There is also a build your own noodle station where you can choose your mix-ins and sauces, and they'll fry it up for you. The fried rice is solid and the garlic toast is shockingly really good. Food is pretty fresh and warm, and there are people constantly refilling trays and cleaning the buffet.

The restaurant is located in a strip mall, and most of the businesses in that strip mall have signs posted saying "No buffet parking," which limits the available spots unless you don't mind walking a short distance. We got there just before the dinner rush and managed to find a few open spaces. Inside, the restaurant was beautifully decorated. We went up to the front counter, told the gentleman how many were in our party, and paid for our meals. One thing that stood out was the tip process, when you choose to leave a tip during payment, they hand it to you in cash so you can personally give it to your server. I thought that was a really nice touch from Dragon Star. The buffet itself had an impressive variety of options, including a Hibachi station. What caught my attention about the Hibachi was how the two cooks used a round grill and long sticks to prepare the food, it was entertaining to watch and they made sure the food went neatly into each customers bowls. However, one thing I didn't like was that the pork and chicken were placed too close together and were touching, which isn't ideal for those of us who don't eat pork. On the plus side, the cooks kept the grill spotless between uses, which was great to see. They also offered plenty of desserts and had a ton of seating. Despite the limited parking, the buffet is reasonably priced, has a good selection of sushi, and offers a great dining experience overall. My wife and I definitely plan to return, next time we'll try to go before 4 p.m., since things get pretty hectic around 5, but that's to be expected with all the good things Dragon Star has to offer.

I noticed this place must have a decent loyal following because of the merch you could purchase there at the counter (tee shirts, hats, sweat shirts, etc)! It wasn't too busy despite it being Friday night, so we got a table right away. It was really hard to pick what I wanted off the menu because A LOT of the options looked deliciously tempting (just gonna have to go back), but I eventually decided on a shrimp pasta, and that was the RIGHT choice. Mmm, so good! And a decent portion for the price too, as I took half of it home in a to-go box. I was pleased by the speed at which they got our order ready, as well as how attentive the server was (my in-laws suck down iced tea like no one's business, but she managed to keep them topped off regularly). The parking lot is interesting, as it has above ground and underground parking (probably nice to have the option to go below during the snowy winters around here). It shares the parking lot with a grocery and some other things, which felt a bit cramped, but as I said, we happened to be there when it wasn't too crowded somehow.

Not much to say on it except perfect. The fried green tomatoes were good just needed to be hot! The grits arrived like warm at best, but still a decent bite. The half bird (4 piece fried chicken) was extremely hot and juicy!!! I can't complain about that, the sides however could've used a little more attention. The sweet potatoes lacked so much potential due to them being puréed the only sweet portion came from the marshmallows and pecans which I wasn't a fan of. The collards were decent, needed a pinch or 2 of salt. Overall I would come again though to try different items.
