My teen and I both almost always get the Joe's Special -- a bagel of choice, loaded with jalapeño cream cheese (perfectly whipped and creamy with a great texture given the tiny chunks of jalapeño), egg, bacon, and lemon pepper seasoning. Their asiago bagels were my go-to until I met their garlic bagel, so now you get to read my love letter to their garlic bagel: Dude. That garlic bagel is SO GOOD if not totally overwhelming. Like, have you ever experienced heat from too much garlic? Like the flavor is so garlicky you think the garlic is mad at you? Like if you were to break a sweat, you know pungent garlic smell is gonna come out of your pores -- it's that kind of angry, amazing garlic. Staff were friendly and the line was reasonable for a Friday at 9:00. I got The Lox sandwich on an everything bagel ($10.75); the portion was great for the price! The amount of lox and other fillings (cream cheese, capers, onion, and tomato) was fantastic and the bagel itself was flavorful and not too dense. The actual cafe is smaller, with little nooks to sit at. The ambiance is nice, but I wouldn't come here to work or study due to the limited space. So I hate to do this but I have to change my review. I was excited to come here again because I was craving a bagel. I brought my hubby here. We ordered a lox bagel and he got the bacon egg white and 2 coffees. First of all $30 for this is way too high! Second the bagels were overloaded with cream cheese and my husbands bagel had minced bacon which you couldn't even taste. The coffee we ordered were plain brewed coffee. We got hazelnut flavored coffee. So we went back to get plain coffee. They gave us the second cup and yes it was flavored. They said they were going to brew more. At this point we had already eaten our bagels. Wait time for our food and coffee was about 20 min. No we didn't have time to wait for our coffee. We decided to leave due to wait time. There were a lot of people waiting. I'm sure others may have better luck but for me coffee and bagel shouldn't have to take so long. read more

We've been searching for a legit bagel shop for the last week and I think we found it! Cassidy's is super cute and in a nice neighborhood. We ordered several bagels with cream cheese to go and everything came out super fast. I didn't like the undercooked bacon my on bacon jalapeño cheese bagel, but not taking away any stars for it. I used to go to the Lakewood one a lot, but this location is much more convenient for me. I even got my wife to be a regular at this place The bagels/donuts are always fresh and tasty. When they toast the bagels, they're never burnt. My favorite order here is a while wheat bagel with egg, avocado, and tomato. Dairy products don't agree with my digestive system, so I really appreciate that you can build your own bagel. I also really like their donuts here, particularly the chocolate bars. I don't get them everyday for health reasons , but I definitely have to get it at least once or twice a week. The donuts are never overly greasy, or overly sweet. They're also really fast here! I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my order! Lastly, I recommend that ya'll come in the morning. I ordered recently through Uber eats and have not had any issues until now. I ordered the Desi bagel sandwich with an everything bagel but when I got my order, I got it with a plain bagel instead. I was not aware of it or informed through the Uber eats app or Cassidy's themselves that it was changed. I found out after I unwrapped the sandwich. It was poor communication & service on them. I highly recommend to just order from here in person otherwise you're paying extra money to not get what you want or to be able to substitute your orders. read more

Finally woke up early enough to try Cassidy's Corner! Here's what I got: Desi ($7): Hollowed out bagel with egg whites, bacon, avocado, jalapeño cream cheese, and lemon pepper. Different from your typical egg/sausage/cheese bagel sandwich! It tastes on the lighter side. I thought the hollowed out bagel was strange at first, but for this particular sandwich it worked out well. Less doughy mouthful and less carbs haha! Bagels/ingredients were definitely fresh! Had the right amount of chew and good size. 5/5 You can buy bagels and cream cheeses individually. They have unique flavors like a red velvet bagel, and I love their signature sweet butter cream cheese! Go buy a tub of that! I got a cold brew which was solid. Apparently their 4-2-1 coffee is great, so I'll need to come back to try it. The shop itself is very small. There's a few tables out front. Omg! A delicious bagel spot around this area does exist lol. My friend and I went here because we're starving before going to an adventure. I was ehhh going in to this spot.. not really expecting more, but just a mid breakfast, but I was impressed :) When I first entered, the ambiance is just wow! I come to Cassidy's Corner maybe 3-4x a month and get the same thing every single time. Today I came and and ordered and paid $2 extra for the jalapeño and cheddar bacon Maddy sandwich. I can't even wait to get home so I open it and Thank God I did. I'll just show u guys the sandwhich. When I brought it back in he said it only comes with a few pieces of bacon. Sir, just rectify the problem. I get this too often for u to tell me a half of piece comes on this burnt sandwhich. Very unapologetic and have a funky ass attitude that it was brought to their attention the sandwich was trash. I'm only writing this review because of how WILSON handle the situation. Cassidy's is one of my favorite places to stop by and get breakfast. My favorite is Joe's special on a jalapeño bagel with added sausage, chefs kissssss. If you like matcha their strawberry matcha is heavily! If you're more of a coffee person definitely go for the iced 4-2-1. All of the staff is super sweet and the service is pretty quick considering how busy they are. A great spot to sit outside and hangout on a nice day! read more

I have been waiting so long for this cafe to be open! I'm so glad there is now a Cassidy's Corner Cafe in Long Beach and its just down the street from my job! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They are super efficient with getting customers orders in as quickly as possible by starting your order while you're in line so you don't have to wait any longer than necessary. I ordered my bagel and coffee on the phone since I was on my way to work and they had it ready for me and still fresh and hot. The cheese in my bagel was still melting when I opened it in my car. I have no idea what's in their signature coffee but that is SOOOO ADDICTING! Must get but also beware the addiction lol I got a small signature 421 iced coffee and then had my coworker go back and get me another one because ITS THAT GOOD! I will definitely be back! read more

So excited that they are here in Bixby Knolls! One of the best bagel shops ever. I asked for the fattest blueberry bagel they had. Ask and you shall receive. Sooooo fluffy and delicious. I got strawberry cream cheese on it. I usually get their sweet cream cheese which is to die for but decided to mix it up this time. My husband got the Joe's special sandwich which comes with jalapeño lemon pepper cream cheese. They do a great job making their cream cheeses and the bagels are fresh! We also got 4 little donut holes for our little one. Only thing is that I wished they would toast their bagels a little tad bit longer. It's consistent at all their locations. So I really don't have any complaints. Just a personal preference. This is a small location, but like their original store off Del Amo, they've built a small section for the little ones. Ready for covid-19 to be over and to get back to being socially normal at some point soon. In the mean time, they have two tables outside and their employees are going around to constantly clean. They also have hand sanitizer at their entrance and also at the register. Everyone is taking precautions and wearing their masks and service was very friendly. read more

I am one of those annoying LA people who lived in NYC for 5 years and will never stop talking about how much I miss the pizza and bagels. Every attempt at these delicacies on the west coast simply pale in comparison. On a day when my NYC bagel cravings were strong, we decided to try Cassidy's. This cute, colorful shop offers an impressive selection of fresh bagel flavors that you will not find just anywhere in LA. They have a fully stocked pastry case with treats from fantastic local wholesaler Bakers Kneaded, and a La Marzocco espresso machine as well. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and the employees are really friendly. The Joe's Special nearly brought tears of joy to my eyes. The bagel was big and fluffy, with the perfect amount of chew. It needed more cream cheese, but with the ample layer of egg and melted provolone, every bite was heavenly. I got it on Everything, with no bacon, which I highly recommend. I personally did not care for the Signature 4-2-1 Iced Coffee (it tasted like instant coffee and heavy whipping cream), but my husband loved it. Unfortunately though, his bagel was inedible. He ordered an Egg and Cheese on Asiago, which was bone dry and flavorless, with a microwaved egg patty and bitter, burnt cheese. STEPH JUDGEMENT: My favorite bagel sandwiches in Long Beach, and perhaps, the world. I don't get bagel sandwiches very often, because most of the time it's just too much bread and the bagels tend to be tough. They're not my most favorite sandwiches, so when I went in to try Cassidy's I was a bit dismayed to see that it was pretty much ALL bagel sandwiches, lol. BUT, I wanted to give them a try and got the tuna melt on jalapeño bagel. I figured the tuna filling and melted cheese should keep things kinda moist. They also had a free can of soda with Yelp check-in, which I thought was great (just your basic sodas, though--keep your mitts off the San Pellegrino). Anyhoo, from the moment I bit into the warm, hefty sandwich, I was all in. The bagel was perfectly toasted and not tough at all, although still with that bit of chew you want from a bagel. I do get annoyed when I get "bagels" that are basically round sandwich bread. It was a great blend of tuna, cheese, red onions, mustard, and generous portions. I tried them again a few weeks later and got the California (cold sandwich with tuna Salad, avocado, tomato lettuce) on a jalapeno bagel, and again, absolutely delicious. They still toast the bagel, even though it's a cold sandwich, which is a really nice touch. Their tuna salad is amazing, even though it looks so simple. There's not a whole lot of ingredients in there, as far as I can see, but it's just got a great flavor, and isn't too gloppy with mayo (although I love mayo). Everyone working there has also been very nice. Now I understand all the enthusiastic reviews! I think I'll be attaining regular status very soon. read more

Okay so I'm pretty much obsessed with this place. I really look forward to waking up on a Saturday or Sunday and placing my online order for an ABC bagel. I've tried the other bagels too but the ABC is my favorite. Love that they put a perfect amount of cream cheese. The Signature 4-2-1 coffee is pretty addicting. The online ordering system is so fast and easy. I've even placed an order on a Friday to pickup on a Monday morning for bagels for myself and coworkers. After stopping by several times within the past year, I must say this shop holds a special place in my belly and has become my one stop shop for coffee and bagels in Bixby Knolls. The signature iced coffee has saved my grades and my drives to work. Get this drink if you're looking to try something new, I guarantee you'll be coming back. Im not into bagels but the Joe's Special is the only exeption I'll make. The cheese, egg, and jalapeno spread they put on that thing is divine and is something I'd definitely pick up if it was sold separately. Plus there's a variety of bagels to choose from that they'll toast for you, I recommend the asiago. Customer service has always been warm and friendly, and as a cherry top, its nice to see them rep Long Beach Poly and CSULB. Ok I'm definitely hooked!! I tried the signature iced coffee (which by the way is just the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee) and a customized breakfast bagel sandwich! The coffee itself was flavorful and it didn't have that burnt after taste that some coffee shops tend to do. The bagel is a good size and you pay for what you're getting for!
