This was our 2nd visit for High Tea at Candy Rock Cafe. Still a 5 star phenomenal experience, but I…read morewill be honest and say it was just a "tad" less phenomenal than last time. The two things that were not up to the same standard as last time were the butterfly wings on the strawberry mousse, and the Raspberry Madeleine. Last time we came here...everything was edible, including the butterfly wings. The butterfly wings were made of an edible rice paper last time. This time, the wings were smaller and made of plastic, so it was just for decoration. Still lovely and delicious but, not as mind blowing as it was with the bigger, edible wings. As for the Raspberry Madeleine, the pictures I took last time showed a tiny bit of edible gold dusted onto the Raspberry Madeleine. This time there was no gold on top of the Madeleine. It was exactly as last time, covered with a raspberry chocolate but no gold. Again, still lovely and delicious but just slightly less impressive than last time. Everything else though was top notch. Visually appealing and an absolute delight to eat as well. For some reason, it felt like there was a larger selection of sandwiches on the bottom tier than I remember there being last time. I could be mistaken. My memory is not as sharp as it used to be. It's possible they just rearranged some stuff. Perhaps they had more stuff on the middle tier last time, and then just brought it down to the bottom tier this time. Anyways, for whatever reason...it felt like there were more sandwiches. Either way, not complaints. Every single morsel at this place is delicious!!! Highly recommend this place. It is one of the best High Teas anywhere! They have some very talented people in their bakery/ kitchen. I saw this really amazing Labubu cake in their display case! They're good for more than just High Tea at this place. If you've got any special ideas in mind for a birthday, you might consider checking in with Candy Rock Cafe & Bakery for the occasion! Their food is all visually stunning and tastes good too!

I really enjoyed visiting Candy Rock Café in North Vancouver. The space is cozy and inviting, and…read moretheir chocolates and cakes are both beautiful and delicious. Sahar is super talented so, if you're looking for a custom cake, this is the place to get it. I also tried their high tea (by advance booking) and was impressed by how well put together it was. There were 4 different sandwiches, savoury items, a seasonal scone and a selection of sweet treats and cakes. Everything was delicious and spot on. On weekends they also serve brunch, which I can't wait to tey. The owners are super friendly and make you feel like welcome. Def worth stopping by.

After ordering the Too Good to Go bag, I was offered a 20% discount on purchase of $40 +. Decided to make use of that right away. So in addition to the few goods I got from my Too Good to Go package, I also picked up a lovely, big box of fresh pastries. I chose 2 Apple Danishes, a Cinnamon Roll, 2 Raisin Rolls, and a Caramel Almond Croissant. The pastries are so gorgeous here. Just to set my eyes upon the bakes goods...it feels like a feast already. More fun of course when I get to actually sinking my teeth into the goods! The guy who was serving me was very kind and helpful. He was willing to give me 20% off my order, even if I didn't quite make it to $40. Just for that though, I decided I would make it to $40 as I really appreciated his kindness. With the discount, the final number was around $39 for the box of fresh pastries. My mom was so delighted when she saw the beautiful box of pastries and said that we "must" go back again sometime!

I waited what felt like a billion years to order my beverage because the person in front of me was asking a billion questions and taking ages to order her drink. Finally I got to the front and the cashier very politely thanked me for waiting so long. Appreciated that she was aware of the situation and acknowledged it. Points for customer service. Seemed like they were out of a lot of ingredients at this time though cuz I think I overheard her earlier telling the previous customer that they didn't have a certain item; then when I got to the front and I asked for a Lavender Cloud, she said she needed to check with her manager to see if they had the ingredients for that. In the end they put the order through and served it to me. Blah...I didn't like this drink at all. Can't believe I waited so long and paid money for this drink. It didn't look anything like it did in the picture that advertised the drink, and tasted horrible. Made me question whether they had made it properly. I suspect that they were low on ingredients and compromised on the quality of the beverage. If that were the case, I'd appreciated them just telling me straight out that they couldn't make it. I'd have ordered a different drink altogether. I still drink this anyways as I was thirsty and I don't like things going to waste. I plugged my noise so I wouldn't have to taste it as much and chugged it down quickly. I had been curious about the Coconut Cloud drink as well but after this Lavender Cloud experience I probably won't ever bother with the Coconut Cloud drink. I'll just go back to ordering my beloved Rooibos Frappe.

Michelle + Trevor are amazing from start to finish…read more We booked Served for our 30 person Rehearsal Dinner, 40 person Wedding, and the Bridal Party Breakfast for the day of. We had the difficult task of planning our weding in Vancouver from California. We were nervous booking any caterer because we couldn't make it up to meet in person or have a tasting. We had phone conversations with many chefs and caterers, but after our intial conversation with Served it was evident that they possed the expereience and creativity we were looking for. We wanted to incorporate our Asian heratage into the cusine, and it was so awesome to hear Treavor's recommendations and suggestions around the possibilities of Asian Fusion. We were so impressed with his talent, knowledge, and creativity on the spot! We had an intimate wedding at a private home in Furry Creek. Both meals were incredibly delicious. Our guests were an eclectic mix of vegetarians, meat eaters, foodies, and spice sensitive folks. ALL of the guests raved (and continue to do so) about the food and service. My father said it best when he asked, "why can't you get a great meal like this out?!" My husband and I constantly crave the fare - Maybe you mail us meals?! :) Overall Highlights: Michelle + Trevor are on top of getting back to you and finalizing / executing all the details Cusine creativity is impressive Meals are DELICIOUS Staff is friendly I was never worreid that they wouldn't fulfill their end of the service Overall value is incredible I really appreciated the time and effort that was put in to make our Asian Fusion cusine delicious
