One who genuinely thanked me for calling and didn't rush me off the phone. He said to call back 45 mins before I was ready to come in and he would make sure my car would get worked on right away. I called back this afternoon and they took me right away. Rob at the front desk was very friendly and the waiting room was very comfortable. As a younger female, autoshops aren't usually the most welcoming places, but this was the best auto-realted shop I have ever been to. They even fixed my tire free of charge and encouraged me to come back if I needed any other work done. Excellent experience. I didn't realize there were still businesses in the world today that ran with genuine hospitality! I highly recommend.

Overloaded. New…read moreservice appt person has problems remembering things that were just told (what was your name again? which car? what was it again that you wanted?) Multiple mistakes in a row. Had the car in and the transmission line wasn't put back properly, had to get a master mechanic over in my driveway to put it back so the car was usable. Then had it towed to them and they did repair it for parts cost only, but for a family vehicle and tow it was strike one. Next it was the second time the brake pad sensor failed after coming out of their shop after they did rotors/pads. No memory of it happening before (i finally remembered after reviewing old invoices) Asked them to contact a local shop so i didn't have to have it towed over to them again and they got too busy to do it. Called again the next day and they did call the local shop but forgot if it was the front or rear sensor. I had already ordered both from napa so i told them to just credit my account for the next work we did together when we weren't on vacation and they said to just work with the new mechanic since i didn't want to work with them, i just laughed and hung up. Oh and the new text messaging system they put in isn't monitored and half the staff doesn't have access to it or it doesn't work properly so don't get excited thinking it will make it any easier to keep track of things...

When I finally went there to retrieve my car, I open the door and he shouted"where the f*** have you been?" He was obviously intoxicated. He seemed confusingly belligerent. He denied that I had ever called or left messages and instead attempted to collect 60 days worth of storage fees, even though my car had only been there for 38 days. He didn't know how long it had been so he just assumed it had been 60 days. This is because he doesn't keep any records or customer files. He even didn't even know my name or phone number. After arguing for 20 minutes, I eventually demanded my keys and refused to pay anything. He then threw the keys at me and said to never come back. This is why you should avoid this business: 1. Owner is combative and rude. 2. Owner appeared to be under the influence of Marijuana. 3. Owner smelled like marijuana. 4. Owner spoke while eating Swedish Fish with his mouth open 5. Owner tried to charge storage 3 wks before he even had it. 6. Owner did no actual work on the car. 7. Owner is unreachable and impossible to communicate with. 8. Owner obviously pays no taxes since he keeps no records.

I almost didn't go to Raymond's after reading a couple of bad reviews…read more Everybody has their own experience, but every time I've had work done at Raymond's it has been a positive experience. The first time I went there with some problem with my F250 (it's been a few years and I forgot what the problem was), they said it was no big deal and that I should just leave it as is. They were right. It went away. Today I basically gave them a blank check to fix my brakes, emissions test, and fix a slow tire leak. They called to say that I do not need any brake work because it was likely due to how little I use the truck and that with use it will go away. They did fix the tire and will do emissions tomorrow. To me that is the sign of an honest garage. Anybody else would likely have done a bunch of unnecessary brake work and sent me a huge bill. I'll go back someday when I have a real problem.

I would come back from my shift and it would be waiting for me. Now I no longer work in the area, but I continue to bring my cars there, even though I'm 45 minutes away. I don't trust anyone else with my cars. The total trust was built when I brought my truck in for corroded gas lines. The owner refused to fix it because the entire underneath was completely rotted out. He could have fixed it and made money off it, but refused because the vehicle wasn't safe. I ended up scrapping the vehicle. Another thing I love about them is if you need an oil change, you don't need an appointment, you can stop in and they will drop everything to take care of walk-ins.
