The service here has always been friendly and helpful. The times I have gone they have always had vegan options. It's not too pricey either and the donuts are all pretty big. The place is overall welcoming.

Donuts were good and fluffy and I loved the icing on them as well! Craving another salted caramel and sprinkley donut right now! Be prepared, the only downside is that their prices are a littler high, but these aren't small donuts at all.

We stopped here on Friday, and picked up a couple of donuts, they were out of fritters when we got there. The star donut is the maple bacon bar, it's massive, and the flavors hit all the right notes. We also got a glazed donut, and 2 crullers, one with chocolate, and one glazed, but we haven't tried them yet. I called and spoke with someone from the Spokane Valley store, and she gave some good advice, if you fritters, as they are one of the most popular, stop in and place an order for the next day, so we did so. We went in and ordered 3 apple fritters, 2 cherry, and 1 blueberry. Today 8/16, we picked them up. We just tried an apple fritter, it was good, definitely a 3.5/5. Still feel like the maple bacon is better, but nonetheless, the donuts are huge, and its hard to go wrong with any donut, unless its super dry, this is a solid donut shop here in Spokane.

Pretty good donuts. Saw this place in passing and thought it was a good day for a Donut. I don't usually eat them but once in a while you have to live on the edge right? The Bacon/Maple Bar was incredible, salty and sweet. The apple fritter could have been better. Should have been cooked longer so it would be crispy. Overall great place.

This place makes incredible donuts. We bought four of them and I wish so much that we had gotten more! Great dough and flavors without being sickly sweet. Loved the coconut cream. The blueberry cake was scrumptious and it was one of the best maple bacon bars that I have had with crispy salty bacon. My husband got the cinnamon sugar cake donut and wolfed it down. Easy contactless drive through service was available. I will be dreaming of these donuts. So far my favorite Washington donut

I am feeling a bit divided on this place. On one hand, I love that they offer vegan donuts, but on the other, the vegan donuts are not very good. Fortunately, they do yeast donuts, as opposed to strictly cake, which is where most places (lazily) go. The donuts were just not as light and fluffy as I hoped. They were rather heavy, despite being yeast donuts. I had a maple bar, and it was just average. I don't like to compare places, but I guess that doesn't really matter because this is the only vegan donut game in town. They are pretty pricey, too: $2.50 each. But the service was really good. The ladies working there were super kind and chatty. I felt appreciated as a customer. I truly want to give this place more stars, but based on the donuts alone - you know the thing in their name! - I have to just go middle of the road here.

A few weeks ago while visiting with family someone decided to pick up some of these awesome donuts. They're huge (totally shareable) but well worth it. Well today we decided that we would go and try a few different ones and we went a little late in the morning so they didn't have many of the options that I was looking for but the staff was very nice and helpful and even offered to give me a fresh filled Bavarian cream if I just waited a sec for her to do it. So... the maple bar is always amazing and the old fashioned was great. Didn't get the croissant that i wanted but grabbed a chocolate cake in its place and the fritter was so yummy! (Had to try a little of everything) Also joined their rewards program so now I'll get discounts and promos for these amazingly delicious donuts. We'll be back anytime we are in town.

My first vegan donut!!! This place was great! They had both vegan and non-vegan options. We tried the vegan maple bar donut and the glazed. They seemed a bit on the dry side so I did enjoy the glazed more. The guy who helped us was great and the environment was wonderful. Overall my family and I thoroughly enjoyed everything! read more

Very disappointing. The donuts are underwhelming and overpriced. I ordered a maple bar, their best item according to the hostess, and my husband ordered a chocolate donut. Both were really thick and doughy, like really doughy. The "glaze" was more like undercooked frosting, you could actually see where the oil had separated from the sugar. I could taste sugar crystals in every bite, sugar crystals and dough. Yuk. Honestly, these were the worst donuts I've ever had, and I will never go back. The only plus, is that they serve Thomas Hammer coffee. read more

I'll give this place one star because I've only actually received one donut here. Ive shown up here on 4 occasions and only received one donut. That one donut i did have was dry and hard. And I'm fairly sure i was charged over 5 dollars for an americano coffee that normally cost 3 dollars anywhere else. This place is a joke. They advertise vegan donuts but never have them! I'll surely not be wasting any more of my time visiting this place. read more

Their donuts are horrible, don't go there. And who keeps buying the last Chocolate Bavarian donut before I get there?? Actually their donuts are great. Only downside is that they don't have a location in the Valley. But I guess it's worth the drive downtown, so I generally buy a few extra. Good to see Spokane get a good donut shop. It's a good thing they aren't on my way to work. read more

I love Bavarian filled donuts. Ordered their cherry Bavarian filled donut and there was literally maybe two tablespoons of cream. I get more in a Safeway cream filled donut. Plus this donut is more then double the size. Very disappointed read more

I absolutely love Casual Friday's vegan donuts! Their menu is ever expanding and every time I go in there's a new flavor. Recently they started selling fritters which are my all-time favorite! I haven't had them for a long time because they are not vegan. They are the best fritters I have ever had! They are enormous and about two meals worth of doughnut! Really delicious donuts and fun, inventive flavors. They are HUGE donuts. Really loved the maple bar, and had a few chocolate ones that were also very good. I didn't love the MOAD, I thought it was too sweet and had too much going on. But, really good overall and very friendly service. read more

I love the chocolate ring and to die for salted caramel it's one of the most amazing things I've ever had it's cute clean and the girls are friendly I hope they make it the donuts are not greasy and once I had a little issue and they were over helpful and gave me free donuts no questions asked they were great I will continue to go here and recommend it to anyone I know read more

Quickly becoming one of my favorite "spoil myself for a moment" spots!!! Everyone in Spokane seems to have discovered it as well, so, sometimes they have run out of the 'salted' Carmel bar or the Lemon cake donut (YUMMM!!) In those instances, the staff is always willing to recommend a new favorite to try. The customer service is outstanding and they always do their best to leave you feeling HAPPY!! read more

Stopped in to pick up some donuts and everything look like it had been sitting out for 2 to 3 days. Nothing looked appetizing. Should have been my first hint of what was to come. But the kids wanted a donut so I thought I'd give it a try. We chose apple fritters. Not one single solitary iota of an apple was found any place in those fritters.. They were chewy and tough, the sugar that was on top of them, because they had been out for so long wasn't even soft it was all crunchy and flaky. Absolutely disgusting. Got two bottles of chocolate milk for the boys, we we're headed out of town. The boys didn't open their milk till we were on the freeway, to late to turn around, and it was sour! So $16 and change for three disgusting donuts and two bottles of sour chocolate milk. I definitely will NEVER stop there again read more

Much better than the dawn of the donut. I was reluctant to try them again as I thought the pervious donut shop in the same location was far below a supermarket day old donut. When I heard that this is under new owners, I went ahead an bought the groupon. The donuts were pretty good and HUGE! A dozen was too much for us as one was very filling. Bavarian creme filled and the salted Carmel were our favorites. Kids like the jelly filled. read more

I like how big these donuts are and am mystified on how they can pile all the delicious toppings on top. I love the apple bear claw (I think that's what it's called). Great selection of artisan type donuts. This accounts for the price point but these gems are worth the price. When I want something special with superior ingredients and unique combinations, this is my go to donut place. If you're a bit of a late sleeper then it'll be appreciated one can call in and have them hold what you want so they're not all gone by the time you get there. read more

Just got back from Casual Friday's, which is in walking distance from my house :) I bought a double Raspberry Mocha and three donuts, the Maple Bar, Chocolate Ring and Coconut. Hatch beaker + burr transcends all of these. I never expected that I would find one of the best lattes I've ever tasted in Spokane of all places after being a Portland/Seattle coffee elitist. Really nice service and you get updated on your drink even when it's busy which is nice, I've never had that in other cafes. I really can't reiterate how amazing this coffee was. (Unfortunately I literally live on the other side of the country, so before my trip to Spokane ended I made it a point to stop by Atticus multiple times.) The gift shop portion of the store stocks what feels like a little bit of everything. Books, stickers, soaps, lotions, trinkets, home decor, t-shirts, art, books, cards, chocolates...and that's just what I remember! And then the coffee shop portion has a surprisingly large menu. I'm used to coffee shops in stores being more like small coffee stands; but nope, this operation feels like a fully stocked coffee shop. Plus they also serve tea, matcha, and smoothies...and breakfast sandwiches, AND pastries. As you might imagine: this all makes the store smell quite good! There aren't a ton of seats but when I visited with family, we managed to find a couple tables so we could enjoy our drinks and snacks sitting down. Their coffee is very, very tasty - I tried both hot and iced lattes during my multiple visits. I didn't have tea on-site but I did buy some of their blends to brew at home, and they are also very, very tasty. Unfortunately they don't do online sales, and since I was traveling I didn't have the space to pack up everything I wanted to take home with me. The pretzel was excellent, paired with a crazy good mustard that took it to another level. I ordered the curry, and it was a fantastic dish--rich, flavorful, and downright delicious. My daughter had the kids spaghetti with chicken added, and she confidently declared it the best spaghetti she's ever had... so there! Overall, a great experience with standout service and tasty food. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu before giving that fifth star.

Indaba didn't just check the boxes, it made me wonder why every coffee shop doesn't operate this way. Walk in and the space stops you. Exposed brick, warm wood, art on every wall, and a ceiling that opens up the whole room. The seating runs from cozy couches to high tops to proper tables. no bad seat in the house. Outlets everywhere. A conference room available to rent. Whoever designed this place actually thought about the people using it. The staff made us feel welcome without trying too hard. That's a skill. We ordered hot and iced mochas and both were dialed in. My wife went bacon avocado toast, creamy avocado against crispy bacon, exactly right. I had the sunbutter banana toast and almost ordered a second one. We grabbed an apple fritter to go. It didn't survive the drive. The background music hits just right, easy listening layered under the natural buzz of a full, happy room. Prices are exactly what you'd expect to pay for coffee done well. If you have a concern, take it up with the store manager and there might be mitigating circumstances on how something was handled. If it's a procedural issue then you can't hold the store accountable. Call Corporate and let them know your concerns. That being said, the issue with the bodily fluids was handled how it was supposed to. It's hazardous and a cleaning company was supposed to come clean it and is why it was not cleaned with store supplies; ie to avoid contamination. It would not be cleanly or responsible for the store to clean those kinds of fluids with supplies to clean the rest of the store. Please have some grace and understand that procedures have to be followed. Take the correct action when you have concerns but don't take it out on the baristas. They are doing their best.

Pricing is about what you would expect in WA state, and in particular, this upscale neighborhood. Well worth the price in quality though.

Yep yep. These are some good doughnuts. Nice selection. I had a maple bar that was really soft with excellent frosting. The pricing is all right considering the doughnuts are over twice the size of regular doughnuts. You're looking at about $1.50 per donut. Their espresso is very good too. Good beans. Not too much seating area but that's all right. Gives it a nice feel. Staff was polite and handled the order rush pretty well. 4/5 stars for cleanliness, 4/5 quality, 4/5 staff courtesy. This place has made a HUGE turnaround. Our kids love this place. We purchased a gourmet dozen, and I had a bite 2 DAYs later and the maple bar was by the far best donut I have ever had... 2 days later! These are awesome.
