I don't know if there are any other donut shops in Spokane, and honestly it doesn't matter to me if there was, I would not go anywhere else!!! I just wish that Casual Friday Doughnuts was open 24/7! I figure that someone(s) is probably there baking at night, so why not sell doughnuts also!! Casual Friday Doughnuts have the best Doughnuts I have ever had in my entire life. Doesn't matter what time of the day I go, their Doughnuts have always tasted perfectly fresh. They have a huge variety for almost any taste bud requirement. I am always impressed by the interesting variety that they have - like the doughnuts that are chocolate with bacon sprinkles on top (that reminds me, I need to get one of them next time!). They have Bavarian filled donuts that have just the right amount of cream in them and they are wonderful! I would easily say that they are the best Bavarian filled doughnuts I have ever eaten. I truly love the Oreo cookie donuts and their chocolate cake with chocolate frosting donuts are absolutely delicious!!! Honestly I have tried probably one of almost everything at some point and I have yet to taste a donut from Casual Friday Doughnuts that was not absolutely worth every penny and delicious!!! The only issue I have with them is that their prices are pretty high. Being on a limited budget every month keeps us from being able to enjoy their doughnuts very often. My suggestion would be to offer a 1/2 dozen and a 1 dozen discount lower than what they have offered in the past (please!); that is available all of the time. If I remember correctly, they do offer a significant discount in the late afternoon (but not all chocolate urges can wait until later in the day!!). On Father's Day, bought a dozen 6 old fashiondoughnuts (good but grocery store quality , 3 fritters( doughy & not crisp or fruity & slightly bitter) 1 layered ( inedible because of a bitter taste) &2 maple bars ( also bitter flavor ). Good customer service though. So disappointing and pricey. I hope this review will help them to make a better doughnut because I want them to succeed. read more

Hands down best maple bar I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Fresh, well made, dough was perfect, not over or under cooked. The maple frosting was perfect, just right amount. I haven't stopped thinking about this doughnut since I ate it. I will become a regular. I haven't tasted the others - but sure there just as yummy. read more

I made my dad turn back to this donut shop as soon as my we drove passed it. It was too adorable to resist! The inside was even more so. I don't remember the exact donut we ordered, but it was a chocolate bar filled with Boston cream. It was incredible. The dough was fluffy, cream was creamy, and hot chocolate rich (and creamy). I bet their donuts taste like magic when their freshly baked. Honestly, I stop by Casual Friday Donuts whenever I drive to Spokane. Old fashion doughnuts are the best, this place has crazy doughnuts. They also have the simple, clean, perfect old fashioned. I liked all the strange selections I purchased from casual Friday, but loved the old fashioned! I revived friendly service, they laughed at my stupid jokes so they must have good hearts. I would certainly consider myself a donut connoisseur and have visited a variety of donut shops around the US. Every place I go, it comes back to comparing the donuts to Casual Friday's. No place has ever stacked up. Casual Friday's is by my favorite donut shop I have ever been to. As soon as you walk through the doors you are greeted with an heavenly aroma that makes your mouth water. Now for the donuts, by far the biggest and flavorful that I've tasted. Overpriced and the quality was terrible. We had hoped for something fresh and new, especially since it was about 8am on a weekend, but got was seemed to be old and overfried or greasy. Packaging and identity is on point though, so I'll give a star for that. read more

I love this place, well, usually, but not today. The only reason I'm writing a review today is in hopes someone there reads it. I had the apple fritter, but it wasn't good at all. First, there wasn't any apples in it. Second, It was just all dough and didn't taste good. I am so disappointed. My son loved his donut so that's something. I've had a donut where I suspect the oil was slightly older than it should've been because it tasted similar to the the ever present smell generated by the near by Asian grocery. Great donuts. Stopped in passing through town. Service was great and with a smile. Totals included sales tax so it was full amounts , like $1,$3; not $2.19. Donuts were golden brown, soft on the inside and yummy. Had a bacon maple bar and it was great, bacon was not burned and tasted perfect. Good sized donuts too. read more

Vegan donuts: I'm just happy I can buy a vegan donut in town. They are not the best or worst I've had. I like that its a donut texture more so than the usual "cake" textures most other places put out. I also appreciate the classic flavors like glazed, chocolate covered, maple bar... as opposed to the "fancy" (i.e. matcha, prickly pear) flavors I've had at other shops that just taste bad. I wish the frosting was more smooth and creamy and less stale. Seems like the frosting kind of breaks off the bread and you just get a big bite of bread. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE: is phenomenal. Like other people have stated, the Apple fritters are raw and not a single piece of apple. I was too afraid of getting sick to eat it. The MOAD had good flavor but again seemed a bit under baked, however not as bad as the apple fritter. Listen to your costumers, cook the apple fritters longer!!! read more

The Bavarian filled donut was spectacular, but the poor costumer service made me regret spending my money at this business. My friend and I came on 7/18 at 6:20 in the morning just to get morning donuts and the lady who helped us was extremely rude. I was surprised to see they were not too busy despite the holiday weekend. I didn't have to park on the street or wait in a long line. My kids were mesmerized by the selection! The glaze is different, as some people have pointed out it breaks/flakes, but honestly I love it, they are messy and sweet like a donut should be. The quality of the donuts here is superb. On the one hand $2.25 for a donut that is $.69 at a grocery store seems crazy but you get what you pay for. I work with a bunch of women that are perpetually have some kind of diet, low carb, keto, shake induced mental illness. It is frustrating when you bring donuts and nobody eats them. Grocery store donuts will be there at the end of the day. These are usually gone by 10am. If you care about the people that you are buying donuts for I would highly recommend getting them here. read more

Great donuts!! They open at 6am and have a pretty wide assortment when they open ( with more being made as the morning rolls on). I would highly recommend the apple fritters and maple bars. Dine-in is an excellent option - my kids have a great time sitting on the stools eating donuts. read more
