Actually they were and are EXCELLENT . Our cat Zeno got sick with respiratory infection and eye infection from dust from construction WK going on in our home. I called Cat Care, they took him in immediately, (my baby Zeno was very sick, he kept sneaking in the demo area) whenever one of the contractor would come out of the area). Anyway, Cat Care took Zeno in doctored on him. Informed me of their findings gave him two shots, and eye drops, and they have been calling checking on him every day. We have been having him and loving on him as we always do. As of today Zeno is back trying to get into the demo area but it is cover, taped off the contractors have to go out the kitchen exit and come around. Zeno goes back to Cat Care in two weeks. read more

Led by Dr Debra Rowell, the friendly staff at CCH had me feeling relieved and confident that I brought my "Miracle" cat there,and that she'd be receiving very good care. From transfer, to examination, to explanation of diagnosis, to being informed exactly what the fee would be *BEFORE* each particular service was performed was quite comforting to me/a Veteran living primarily on disability income. A surprise blessing was totally unexpected - a 10% Veterans discount when I presented my veterans ID card! Very pleased! I had really high hopes for my visit with Cat Care Hospital. I was very happy with services until I got the bill for almost $1,000! Yep, in one visit. I asked for a senior cat profile with blood work. They gave me that and then some. They proceeded to do many injections, test, and x-rays without my permission. They had no problem in charging me for everything. After a few days of shock I wrote a letter and dropped it of at the hospital. To my amazement they offered me a free appointment with free medications. I said yes I will come. I did and things went good with no charges. They advised I come in again for several test in a couple of weeks. I asked how much the visit would be and it was again $$$. SHADY ORGINZATION! Money hungry unfortunately. This was not the place i chose for my cat's care. I had been going to there sister agency is Sandy Plains but they had some staffing issues and did not have a vet on site on a regular basis. They referred me to Cat Care Hospital. While I appreciated that they had extended hours, the compassion is SO lacking and just about every time I went back, they had raised their prices.Luckily I had a pet discount plan so that is why I stayed there. I took my cat there for over 3 years and during that time, she had to have bladder surgery and they told me my kittie had cancer. I was referred to Blue Pearl for a confirmation of the dx, and in the two visits and phone calls at Blue Pearl, I was shown more compassion than all the time at Cat Care Hospital.. When my kitty died on 11/13, I called and left a message to let them know. While I got flowers from Chewy and a sympathy card from Blue Pearl, I heard nothing from Cat Care hospital. Not even a call or a card. I did call them to confirm they got my message and Jessica confirmed they knew my kitty had died. So if compassion and raising prices little on a regular basis are not a concern for you, feel free to go there! read more

We recently moved to Marietta and were looking for a new vet for our cat, who recently passed and most recently our new kitten. The proximity and cat specific care of this hospital appealed to us. Given that this location was advertised as a "cat care" hospital providing "specialized care exclusively for cats" per their website, we assumed that it would be a clinic that only treated cats and only housed cats. Unfortunately, during recent visits we've heard a dog barking, loudly. During our most recent visit the barking came from the back room where they had taken our kitten for an exam. I'm sure the presence of the dog only heightened our kitten's anxiety. Also, with no introductions made or name tags visible it was impossible to tell who exactly was examining our kitten. Was she seen by the vet? We don't know, because we never saw or met with the vet during our most recent visit. Interestingly, the signature line at the bottom of our report was not signed by the vet, either. We were still charged a solid $200 for the visit, however, despite never meeting with a vet. Of course, we also have no way of knowing for sure what went on with our cat during our most recent visit, because they took her to a back room marked "employees only" for the exam and other services. This is unusual, and not something we have experienced with any other vet. For us, this is a huge red flag. Why the lack of transparency? Staff were not outright rude, but not courteous either. No one asked routine questions about our cat you would think a vet would like to know, like whether she was an indoor or outdoor cat or the kind of food we feed her or how often she was fed/eating. No one provided us with information verbally either, they claimed her check up showed she was "healthy", but no details were provided. For example, is she the right weight for her age and activity level? We had to look at her report/chart to see basic information such as how much she weighed. After we took our cat home, she acted skittish and lethargic, not wanting us to touch her, meowing when we did so and not moving much at all. Her reactions were slowed and her eyes glassy. This is unusual and not at all like our normally friendly cat who rarely meows and is, as most all kittens are, very playful. This could be a side effect of the vaccines given, or of a sedative but we were not told of any possible side effects. If a sedative was given during the exam we were not made aware of it. We will not be returning, and I would advise anyone else against bringing their cat(s) here. Terrible, subpar service and multiple red flags. The only positive thing I have to say of this clinic is that the staff member who trimmed our cat's nails, an older lady with silver hair, was very kind and provided some helpful advice about nail trimming. read more

I called the office to try to bring my cat from 60 miles away since they were a cats only facility. I was afraid my cat was dying. The "lady" who took my call said they could see him tomorrow. I told her I feared my cat was in very bad shape and she replied "OK, well we can see him tomorrow." I have read a lot of these reviews and they seem to point to the "lady" who runs the front desk. Pitiful. How dare they speak to animal lovers (and their bread and butter) like that. Shameful. read more

Many of the reviews for Cat Care Hospital had my anxiety through the roof after I brought my senior cat here for treatment, however my experience with the staff and my cat's treatment was excellent. They took an appointment same day and immediately went to work on treating him. I had no issues with rude or unfriendly staff; everyone I interacted with (by phone or in person) seemed to be professional and courteous. Treatment prices were on the high side (but I wouldn't call them unreasonable), however was worth it to me. My experience was very positive. read more

Dr. Rowell has been our cat's veterinarian for many years. She saved the life of our black cat who, at 3 years old, developed an autoimmune disorder that our previous vet had diagnosed as an aggressive form of cancer. She customized a treatment for him. The little guy is 11 years old now and is an active, affectionate cat who has easy-to-give medicine. She has somehow managed to fit our other cats into her schedule quickly when they were sick. Dr. Rowell and her staff are specialists who really know cats. We can't say enough good things about Cat Care Hospital. read more

I wanted to like this place, I really did. I love the concept of a cat only veterinary hospital (no barking dogs causing additional stress, feline-focused medicine). Unfortunately my experience with my sweet kitty was rather terrible here, and I am sharing this review so that others hopefully don't have to go through what we went through. I am giving the two stars rather than just one only because I do think that Dr. Rowell accurately diagnosed my cat (cancerous tumor in her small intestine). However, that is where the credit to this clinic ends. We had several appointments over a couple of months and spent quite a bit of money at the Cat Care Hospital. The receptionist, as other reviewers have noted, is seemingly always annoyed by the presence of clients and having to do her job. During our multiple visits we only actually saw the doctor's face twice but were always charged an exam fee; presumably the doctor looks at the cat in the back of the clinic but since the technicians seem to double as doctors who really knows for sure. During one visit, there was a cat there with the same name as my cat at the same time we were there . An actual verbal altercation broke out amongst the staff in the back over the confusion that followed because they had no idea which cat was supposed to go into which exam room (my cat was there for an appointment and the other was being discharged after being there for the day). They were YELLING and swearing and calling each other names that I cannot use on Yelp. It was the most unprofessional display I can recall seeing at ANY business, ever. The cleanliness of the hospital is also an issue; there is an inordinate amount of clutter including dusty knick-knacks, decorations, and rugs. This is a place where surgeries and sterile procedures are performed...how would you feel walking into your surgeon's office and seeing that type of environment? Our cat's health declined further and we ended up (reluctantly) taking her there to be euthanized because they had been managing her care up until this point and obviously knew what was going on with her medically. Dr. Rowell did not even come in the room to say a word to us. She let the techs do the euthanasia. The icing on the cake was the card we got in the mail from the clinic. It was signed, "Cat Care Hospital." That's it. Not a single staff member name, nothing about how our cat was sweet or a kind word such as, "We know you will miss her" or anything of the sort. It was so impersonal that I wish they hadn't even sent it because no card at all would have been less insulting than that. This hospital charges fees that are inline with the best, top rated veterinary hospitals around town. It is not a cut-rate place but they are providing cut-rate service by treating their clients as though they are an imposition, having the techs do the majority of the work, lacking compassion, and the veterinarian rarely showing her face. I think that at some point, possibly years ago, these folks burned out and now they are just doing this to continue to earn a paycheck. Their hearts are no longer in it. If you love your cat like I loved mine, this is not the experience or care you are looking for, I promise. Keep looking. This is not the place. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAT HERE! This is my second review because after deciding to take my cat to another vet I was once again treated poorly during the transition. My new vet requested records from Cat Care Hospital and they did not send them citing computer issues and the inability of the new vet to receive a fax. I called to inquire about the records and arrange a time to pick them up in person. Sheila was incredibly rude to me and said "we only saw your cat twice it's only 2 pages of records" as if that somehow played a role in the importance of my pets records. When I asked her why she made that statement she hung up in my face. When I went to pick up the records in person she was once again rude and defensive and had to to be instructed by the incompetent technician (who during my first visit struggled to explain basic concepts) to "just say sorry". I told Shelia she should exercise compassion and empathy when dealing with customers and she wouldn't even look me in the eyes. I am horrified and disgusted by the way I was treated and I can't believe this place is even in business. Our pets are so important to us and being treated like this by someone you've entrusted with their lives is shocking. I will do whatever I can to see this place is held accountable for their egregious behavior. read more

My kitty got his nuts cut off. I talked to the same receptionist/vet gal at Cat Care about 3 or 4 times between calling to make the appointment and to make followup inquires afterwards. She was very short and terse with me. Oh and not to mention rude and condescending. And I am not exaggerating. I was really upset to leave him on the day of the operation (I freaking started to tear up) and they told me they would call me after his surgery when I could come pick him up (and let me know he was okay)... NO ONE called. So I call all super late damn near closing time (7pm) and I don't even get an apology. "Well you can come get him if you want, he's been ready since about noon today." "But I thought someone was going to call me, that's what I was told." "Well, I don't know what happened, but he's ready." What?? They couldn't call me and let me know he was okay and ready to leave but they COULD call me to wrench an extra $80 bucks out of me because they supposedly found worms during a fecal check. I'm still not sure I 100% believe that one... Anyways, you'd think someone would be a little more understanding/accomodating when it comes to loss of feline manhood. It's a sensitive deal but I guess they just don't get it. read more

I took my cat to this hospital because I believed it to be one that specialized in cats and their care. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I was in what happened to my Persian. I took him there for a hair cut. We discussed some temperament issues that we were having with the cat and the doctor suggested we have him undergo a procedure as well. During the hair cut they cut his skin. He was then placed under anesthesia and operated on. During the operation he was placed on a heated pad. As a result of the long term exposure on the heated pad he sustained 2nd degree burns to his back. My cat was absolutely defenseless to what happened to him. He had an open wound on his back that was no less than 4 inches long. It was a completely bloody and raw open sore that lasted for months. The hair on his back never properly grew back. I can accept that people make mistakes. What I could not accept was that no one in that office would take responsibility for what they did. Their own medical records verified that there were 2nd degree burns. So their denial of any wrong doing was just horrendous. The only thing they would do was offer to further treat my cat. That was never going to happen after what they did. We spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars and they never even attempted to refund our money. read more

As much as I really wanted to like this clinic, they killed my cat. My cat went in a little sick, and came out even worse. They did things to her I was unaware of until I got the enormous bill. I had to beg to speak to the Vet, and even after all the back and forth, they never seemed to truly listen to me, and we still never got a diagnosis. Once she was seen by another clinic, it was too late. Their radiographs were terrible, their tech skills were lacking, as well as their customer service. I've since heard other bad reviews of this clinic as well. If I could give it zero stars I would. Don't trust this clinic with your kitty's. They don't care about your cat when you're not there. Their house cat is even obese with poop all over it's butt (red flag). I'm beating myself up that I didn't get a second opinion, elsewhere, sooner. read more

Dr. Rowell has been our family's vet for over 20 years. She has helped our family raise and care for over a dozen different cats! The care they have received is very thorough, thoughtful, and there is an obvious passion for cats seen in all the staff! Years ago, Dr. Rowell assisted my sister in rescuing a stray young cat that had been in a very bad fight... so bad that the cat (Miss Hollywinker) lost her right eye. Dr. Rowell did an amazing job of removing the eye and repairing the socket in such a way as to retain the tear duct. That cat went on to be my sister's constant and best companion for the next 20 years... all thanks to the care she received from CCH. My own three furry kids all have their regular checkups done, including dental! When my previous cat was struggling with Chylothorax (fluid around the lungs), the staff was unbelievably attentive and compassionate both to Lizzie and to me! Because they specialize in felines only, they knew exactly what to do for Lizzie to save her life! From a lot of personal experience, I would recommend this facility to any cat lover. It's truly the "Mayo" clinic for felines. read more

Dr. Rowele killed out beloved cat. She over dosed him on a drug he has been taken for a year. I trusted her, BUT she told me an my wife she had a stroke a few months before and couldn't think right. The overdose she gave our cat a month later caused him to be so bad the subside Dr.( shes rarely there) To shut down with elevated Diabetes, Ketones, and Pancreatitis. We had to rush him to the Vet ER where he spent two days at $2,400. After changing Vets we spent one month force feeding him to keep him alive. Finally he died. DO NOT take you pet here unless you want it killed. She has had a stroke and is incompetent to be a DR. read more

I took my partner's cat, Monty, in to this vet a few months back. She is prone to UTIs (and is on a medicated food for it) and had developed another one. I did not like my experience AT ALL. The staff at the front desk was grumpy and was not friendly in the least - in fact, I felt very judged for bringing her in. I'd like to point out that this is a cat veterinary establishment where we are being our sick cats to - surely this wasn't the first cat they had treated with a UTI. I then went back to an exam room with Monty where we saw a vet tech first. They talked to me about symptoms, then took Monty into the back for the exam. I never met the vet herself, but she presumedly examined the cat. What I could hear as I waited, however was a CHILD in the back area as well, loudly arguing with her mother. I won't share details of the argument (nothing improper, just not my business) other than to say it was shocking to be able to hear it - it was incredibly unprofessional, made me very uncomfortable, and it felt even more strange that Monty was not examined in to room we were in nor did I ever meet the vet. When Monty was brought back out, I was lectured about making sure she had a regular sanitrim - the advice wasn't the problem, it was the delivery. Again, it wasn't friendly and I was spoken to like I was neglecting this cat - the fact that I brought her in in the first signs of a UTI should have been indication that I was NOT neglecting her...she is very well taken care of. (Not to mention that this is not my cat to be gone with...) As I was leaving, the person at the front desk seemed irritated to even set up the next appointment for Monty. My partner has brought Monty back to the same place a couple more times, in the hopes that this was an off day... but the service has been equally shaming. These folks may very well be cat lovers, but we will not return here and will be taking our business to a more cat AND human-friendly establishment. read more

Took my 14 year old kitty, Dallas, who was having labored breathing this past Tuesday to Cat Care Clinic of Cobb. They referred me to Dr. Rowell at the Cat Care Hospital, because their X-ray machine was not working. Also, because the owners of each clinic are related.... I immediately went to the Cat Care Hospital and Dr. Rowell took an x-ray. She believed there was fluid in her chest cavity possibly caused by heart failure, a tumor, or something unknown. She tapped her chest to remove the fluid, but was not able to get any. She concluded the fluid was in her lungs. The act of attempting to drain the fluid caused further labored breathing in my sweet girl. Dallas needed a sonogram to get a clear picture of the cause of the fluid. They are a cat hospital and don't have a sonogram machine. The traveling sonographer would be at their office in two days. My cat was dying and she did not suggest another vet with the critical equipment needed to diagnose my kitty. Instead she gave her a bag of fluids because she was dehydrated, as well as a bronchodilator and antibiotic shot. She even tried to sell me medication for her dry skin and coat. I was charged almost $1,000 and they sent her home expecting her back for a sonogram in 2 days. Later that evening her breathing got worse and we ended up at the Family Pet Hospital emergency vet( I do highly recommend Dr. Thulluri a kind vet with integrity.) I write this as look down on my precious Dallas' grave. She did not make it and it was a horrible way to end her last day on this earth. The diagnosis and prognosis were not going to be good, but Dr. Rowell, a licensed vet, did not speak frankly with me. I did not have any time to research her. This was an emergency, but after looking on Yelp it's clear she's incompetent. I left a review on their website, but it was not published online. A vet not only needs medical skills, but just as importantly they need compassion and honesty. Veterinary care should not solely be for the money, but primarily for the absolute best and humane care of your animal. I hope someone will read this and will not ever take your beloved kitty to either the Cat Clinic of Cobb or Cat Care Hospital. read more

I took my 6 year old cat here for her check up today and I was super impressed. The staff is knowledgeable and also very caring when it comes to the patients. My girl can be difficult and the staff was loving and caused her minimal stress which was a huge concern for me when picking a new vet. The prices were also very fair and the fact that it is cat-only helped reduce stress in my pet but also gave me peace of mind knowing they have a focus on cat care. I took my cat there for the Lion cut and a bath that was advertised on the billboard outside of the building, when she was ready they called and I picked her up.n When I got home I looked at my cat and saw that the cut looked as if it was done by someone who did not know what they were doing, I tried to pick my cat up and she hissed at me, something she doesn't do to me, finally I could see that who ever shaved her had mutilated her underbody badly. They did not even tell me just sent her home like that. When I went to talk to them about it I was told that is what happens sometimes. I was not offered any help of any kind. On Thursday 10/1/20 I found a stray kitten on the road behind my work crouched in the ditch and not moving. I took him and placed him in a box and put him inside my office until I could get away and take him to the vet. He stayed in the box crouched down and not moving for over two hours and the whole ride to the vet. I knew there was something wrong with him as he did not move at all and would not drink. At around 10:30am I took him to my vet, Cat Care Hospital, and was very specific in telling the lady at the counter that he was a stray I had found, that he was not drinking, that he had not moved in over two hours and maybe longer as I did not know how long he had been in the street. I said I wanted him totally checked out and to make sure he was in good health so I could take him home. To call me with any needs it had and I would determine what to do. After a few hours I was called to say he could be picked up. At 5:30pm I left work early to pick him up. When I arrived I was told that he was given flea medicine and that he would most likely foam at the mouth at night and that he did not have Leukemia or Aids and that he was good to go. I asked to be sure that he was ok and was told yes. That night at home he seemed lethargic and did not eat or drink and was foaming at the mouth. I kept his mouth wiped clean and figured it was the medicine affecting him and he had been through a rough patch and was probably tired and not feeling well. In the morning when I left for work he was sleeping so I let him sleep figuring he was still tired from Thursday. I put some fresh food and water out for him and went to work. When I got home after work he was still lying down and the food had not been touched. I picked him up and he was just limp in my hands. He could barely lift his little head and was having trouble keeping his eyes open. I tried to feed him milk using an eye dropper and he could not even drink. I rushed him to BluePearl Veterinary 24/7 emergency hospital in Marietta on Cobb Parkway. They put him in front of the line because of his grave situation. They checked him out and told me he was really far gone and severely dehydrated and they could not guarantee that any care would have a positive outcome for him. They strongly recommended euthanasia for the little kitty. Since I am no doctor I reluctantly agreed. On Monday 10/5/20 I called Cat Care Hospital to tell them what happened. The lady on the phone told me that they had been alerted by BluePearl of what happened. I conveyed my unhappiness and asked how they missed that the kitty was not "good to go". I strongly expressed that this should not have happened and that I wanted answers. She told me that she would have the doctor call me on Tuesday 10/6/20. I waited all day on Tuesday for a call from the doctor but the call never came. I am furious! These people took my money when I was trying to save a live and don't even have the decency to call me when they said they would. I have spent thousands of dollars with them for my other two cats and one of them is on so many medications that now I am second guessing if he even needs them. I am done! I will NEVER take any more cats to this place. All they seem to care about is taking your money and are not concerned with the well being of the cats. I am most saddened and upset that a poor little kitty had to die because of negligence on the part of this vet. read more

I was very conflicted about this review but decided I really couldn't do better than two stars. The vet is a very nice woman but seems too busy. One of the receptionists is so rude that she shouldn't be dealing with the public..especially since when most people are there it's not under good circumstances and are essentially paying her salary. They've taken an old house and done a good job of decorating..making it feel warm. We took a pretty sick cat there..after keeping him for over a week she decided she had no idea what was wrong with him and referred us to GVS. I wish we'd gone there to begin with as her charges are more than theirs..a fact that shocked us to no end. Plus they had him figured out and home in 4 days. Another thing there that seriously didn't sit well with us was that earlier that year we had to leave town for two days and didn't want to leave our cat home alone with just a person coming over to fed him..he was an older cat and on thyroid med..so we paid to have him boarded at Cat Care with the impression that somebody was there 24 hours. After we got back, we found out they just have someone who goes in to feed and give meds...the rest of the time they're alone. We could have left the poor guy in the comfort of his home and had a neighbor do the same thing. read more

Cat Care Hospital Inc. A few days ago, my mother (who is elderly and uses a walker) had an appointment at this facility to have her cat neutered. Upon her arrival, she managed to get her walker and her cat to the steps where someone must have seen her. A lady (employee) came out and retrieved the cat and went back inside. The steps, even though were few, were too steep for her to climb, having had past knee and hip surgeries, but she had already noticed a handicap ramp when she arrived, so she assumed she could go in that way. After going all that way, she was met by the lady only to be told she couldn't come in that door because her walker was too wide and it wouldn't fit between the cages, etc. The lady then went and got the clipboard with forms to fill out and handed them out to her to fill out. That morning, it was cold and windy, and she was left outside to fill out those forms. I'm completely in disbelief and very disappointed that my mother was left outside in the cold because she was unable to get to the front entrance. I can only imagine that someone in a wheelchair will have the same treatment. This ramp is useless to the disabled, elderly or anyone who can't climb those steps. Code violation? I'm pretty sure, I'll find out. read more

The Cat Care Hospital is the only place I would take my 13 year old Devon Rex, Emily. I completely trust the judgement of Dr. Rowell and her staff. A few years ago, Emily presented with blood in her urine and vomiting. They performed a series of tests including an x-ray and found 3 bladder stones. Emily was scheduled for surgery, which was very scary, but they held our hands through the whole process. The staff encouraged us to visit the day after the surgery, and gave us a room to stay as long as we wanted with her (she still needed to be there for post-operation observation). I'm not an expert (so I'm not going to be too specific so I won't invalidate my humble opinion), but when Emily was being treated, I researched the different types of bladder stones and preventative measures. I found several research articles about the dangers of vets who first try a round of antibiotics to see if it is an infection. Sometimes further tests are only performed if an initial course of broad-spectrum antibiotics does not resolve the infection, which as we know, is leading to antibiotic resistance. Luckily, our vet did not recommend this course of conservative treatment; by the time I read the articles, Dr. Rowell had already surgically removed three ugly stones from our cat. We will gladly drive 30 miles each way to take Emily to her doctor. They have really flexible hours, and are kind to "working parents" by letting us drop off at 7:30 a.m. and come back by after work. Though we usually see Dr. Rowell, I also really, really liked Dr. Everett when we saw her a month or so ago. Dr. Rowell can't be there every minute, but it's clear she is truly dedicated to her practice. She even makes house calls. Sheila and Ashley are really great at their jobs. It is a fine art to juggle running any office, but I imagine they work harder to keep everyone appeased than a staff has to work at a pediatric office--worried cat parents are probably harder to work with than irritated people parents. They are both very knowledgeable and understanding. The critical reviewers who wrote about anyone in the office being less than "super-duper friendly" are obviously looking for something else in a veterinarian clinic. I'd much rather the staff put their energy into cat care than making small talk or chatting with each other behind the desk. These ladies are worker bees, and I'm grateful for the extra time they take with Emily...even calling on a Saturday to check on her after a procedure. I was surprised to see so few reviews, so I looked closely and found a link to reviews (like 40+) that did not meet Yelp standards. I'd say that someone who took the time to type out a detailed review for only ONE place so far should be acknowledged. Sure, those are probably folks who either felt like they had a terrible experience or a wonderful experience, but over 40 outliers? If you scroll down, you should be able to find the link and decide for yourself if they are quality reviews. I just looked and 36/41 are FIVE stars with detailed information. We first went here for a wellness check up earlier this year. It immediately didn't sit well with me that they took my cat out of the room to do a basic exam (even to weigh him!) when I've never had another vet do that. When my cat recently got sick I decided to give them another try. A month of him being in and out of there (for 4-5 nights at a time), over $1300 in bills, and he is still sick. They haven't been able to tell me why he had some of his problems (he's never been sick before), or make him better. He also got worse after his first stay there instead of better. They keep giving advice but then can't offer good explanations as to why to do those things. One of the biggest aspects that has confused us about this place is that out of all of the times we've been there over the past year (about 9 times!), we have never actually met or seen a real vet. It's always a vet tech that does everything and goes over tests results. Not once, through regular yearly exams OR emergency visits have we met the actual vet! And, I've called and left messages for the vet to call me back about their results so that I can get some questions answered and it's always a receptionist that calls me back and can't answer all of those questions. BE CAREFUL!!! DON'T ALLOW THEM TO CLIP EARS!!! A mama cat had kittens in our back yard. Being animal lovers we painstakingly managed to catch all three. We were referred to them for there spay/neuter (they assist in TNR). We told they we had homes for them and asked them not to clip ears. Not only did they screw up and cut them, they mutilated the kitties ears. I've had cats my whole life and always had them clip the ear just incase someone escaped I didn't want a unnecessary surgery for a cat that has already bin fixed. A tiny little V cut out of the ear. I'm absolutely mortified-devastated at what they did!!! They cropped, not clipped the ear, in fact one of the kitties has half it's ear missing (I wish I was exaggerating)! This was beyond cruel it was butchery! Now I'm concerned if they were that careless with clipping the ears, what did they do in the surgeries! Please be vigilant before taking your babies there! My heart is broken and I can't do a thing about it, but warn others about this! Shame, shame on you Cat Care Hospital and whoever did that to these sweet angelic babies!!! Very caring about your kitties and treatment plans. Easy too get an appointment even at the last minute. They are a little pricey as there is always something to add-on our another recommended treatment. Especially with older cats. I've learn to just say no.
