We had dinner there March 28 at the terminal A location ATL. Really a disappointment. The server was great; the meal not so much. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the burger. Shrimp grits consisted of significant layer of grease with very few grits swimming in it . Typically, this dish is served in a bowl with a generous amount of grits, which is the cheapest of the ingredients. Basically, this was an inedible wading pool of grease. My burger, which topped out at $26 for basically a cheeseburger was dried out (ordered medium rare/medium) generally lacking flavor. Sadly, having just left the Dominican Republic I had slightly higher expectations; I think they used the same beef supplier. If it weren't being for having an airline flight, we would have just sent both dishes back. Save yourself and go to Mickey D's. at least you know you're going to receive mediocrity and not pay five times the amount for it. read more

Whenever I am at the airport I try and eat at Cat Cora's Kitchen. The Egg White Scrambler for breakfast and the Avocado Cobb Salad for lunch or dinner are delicious. Ask for Harvey on Wednesdays and Saturdays. He and the staff are the best! read more

Ordered the tomato, spinach and feta omelette and it rates easily as the best omelette I have ever had; ingredients were fresh and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Stopped by this restaurant that's located in ATL airport while I was in the airport during my layover. I stopped in at 10:30am and the place was seated with people at different tables and at the bar. I was seated at a hi-top table and ordered the spicy tomato soup with grilled cheese. The tomato soup was incredibly flavorful and the grilled cheese was really crispy, so dipping the grilled cheese in the soup was a delicious combo. The one issue I had was that I was only halfway through eating my sandwich when the waitress came by to give me the check. By that time, I had only eaten for about 20 minutes and, the restaurant was mostly empty. It was a little off-putting to be given the check when I was still clearly eating my food, did not spend much time in the restaurant, and the restaurant didn't have to worry about seating others because there was no line and plenty of seating available. Not sure if giving patrons their check while they're still working on their food is common practice at this restaurant, but it caused me to feel rushed to finish my food and get out of there. So overall, food was great, but service could have been better. read more

10/10 this was the best place I could've stopped at before my flight back to MD. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the tables were clean and shined like a polished car. Now onto the food, the Crab Mac n Cheese was the best I've ever had as a native marylander (that chef knocked it outta the park) and not to mention the Iced Tea all wonderfully delicious and tasty. I found a real gem of a place in the Atlanta Airport. After I read the posted menu, I said "They have some interesting offerings, let me give this a try", and I was not disappointed. I had an adult beverage with the Crab Mac and Cheese which was just great with grilled vegetables and later on a really nice desert with blueberries and strawberries surrounding a hot brownie showered with whipped cream and it was smooth as silk. My server Kimani L. could not have bene nicer or more attentive. And yes, perhaps a bit pricy but being in an airport plus the food items were very fresh combined with lovely preparation quality, this is a great spot and you should visit them. read more

I went to this restaurant on Dec 19, 2025. The food was good, the waitress, Ashley, was great. However, the next day I had 3 fraudulent charges on my credit card for $70 - $74. My bank processed the charges immediately and cancelled my card. The Fraud department identified that the charges were made at a restaurant but could not identify. The only time I used the card was at this restaurant. Make sure they bring the charge machine to your table. read more

A very generous 3 star, more like 2.5. I ordered the shrimp and grits. The shrimp was cooked well. However, the chunks of raw garlic and uncut onions were off putting, to say the least. In addition "Tasso" ham means, with Cajun spice, not ham with lots of fat. The blood orange mimosa was delightful and the service was distant, but pleasant. Which is why y'all didn't get a 2star. The pictures of Cat Cora about 20 years ago, cooking things not on the menu, is well.....not a good look. Overall, if you have to eat in an airport, it's better than Dunkin'. read more

Cat Cora's has long been my place to grab a bite during a long ATL layover. Unfortunately, it's time to find a new spot. I arrived to a restaurant that was less than half full. After ordering lamb meatballs and ricotta fig toast, I waited. And waited. I watched as several tables who had ordered after I did, get their hamburgers and such. Finally I got the meatballs. Cooked to perfection and delicious. Still no ricotta toast. Finished the meatballs. Still have not received the rest of my order. My waiter put the blame solely on the kitchen. She did not ask if I needed anything or offer to refill my drink. I finally cancelled the rest of my order. Truly bad service, especially for an airport restaurant where timeliness is key. read more

Had a layover for 1 hr. 45min at ATL. Visited Cat Cora's in Terminal A by gate 26. which has (suspicious) good reviews, which were actually true! Cora's was shockingly good. I had the spicy tomato soup which came with a very good grilled cheese sandwich with onions in it. It was excellent. And well under $20. A couple of people next to me had salads that looked very good too, both of them huge. The other entrées were quite pricey, but I'm sure they were very good as well. The only disappointment was $10 for a draft Yeungling beer but of course this is an airport. This may be the best airport food I've ever had with the possible exception of the Mexican restaurant at San Jose in California. read more

First time I ever heard of and tried shrimp and grits. While it took a bit of time and they didn't serve alcohol on Sunday before 11 am (welcome to the South) the shrimp and grits was definitely worth the wait. They only have coffee with option of cream and sugar but the coffee is pretty decent too (even just black). While waiting for the meal the waiters were awesome and nice and background music great. the Atlanta airport was packed, flights were delayed, they were staying open later than normal hours but you could only order drinks if you were paying $50 cash per drink which is suspicious. the waitresses were obnoxious and drunk at the bar. very unprofessional establishment. i honestly think they were pocketing the cash and stealing from the bar. good help is hard to find especially at the Atlanta airport. they told us 'we're closed but if you pay $50 cash per drink we can be open'. they also. probably expect a 100% tip on top of it the way they were strutting around with their airport restaurant entitlement. my review - 1* is too good of a rating, 0 or negative score would be more accurate read more

I must start off by saying that I've always liked Cat Cora as a television personality/chef. Unfortunately my expectations were not met on this day. I had the CHEF CAT'S BURGER, at $19 unlike the lower incorrectly advertised online price on their website. The patty was dry, the toppings too simple, the bun flat on freshness, overall it lacked any savoury appeal. The burger came with sweet potato fries. I would have loved the option of regular fries, but sadly that wasn't available as an option. Definitely not what you would expect at that price tag. My wife had tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. The tomato soup was good, whereas the grilled cheese sandwich was nothing to write home about. It was $15, which also shows an incorrectly advertised online price on their website at $12. The service was not the greatest, a little haphazard... I get that it's an airport which may be similar to working in a tourist area, but when the customers are paying, service standards are expected. I gave our server our credit card to pay the bill and he ended up in the airport hallway talking to someone passing by, for far too long. A few things on the upside. The dining area is mostly white and very well lit. Pretty good experience. Shay and Jessy were very personable. Loved sitting at the bar listening to everyone's bond with working together. Definitely made my wait for my plane better. The Prosecco was nice and light. I also ordered sweet potato fries that were not there. I overheard the staff talking about it however no one ACTUALLY informed me of this nor asked if I wanted a lpn alternative. I did try the fig and ricotta toast which was underwhelming at first. The ricotta was ONLY A SMEAR. I asked for extra ricotta on the side and was so satisfied. It has a kick to it that really complemented the prosciutto and balsamic. They really should add more. Quick update. I stopped in for a quick bite. Being my 3rd or 4th visit here (I travel a lot) I elected to deviate from my usual grilled avocado cobb salad. Instead I got the Sesame Lamb meatballs and a side of garlicky spinach. The meatballs were cooked perfectly and had a delicious flavor and texture. And I love the spicy cream sauce. The portion of 4 meatballs and a garnish of greens was more of a tapas portion (2-3 bites) than an entree, but i was looking for a light meal. The spinach was also cooked perfectly, with just the right balance of texture and freshness. But I found it bland, and needed a good dash of salt to bring out the buttery garlic flavor. Both were delicious, but with these two dishes, you will not leave stuffed. To get full, stick with the cobb salad or a burger. read more

I ordered a side of veggies to go with it- the waitress did explain it was carrots, broccoli, and quinoa. I was just craving veggies so I was cool with some quinoa mixed in. When we got the mixed veggies side, it was over 75% quinoa with a few pieces of steamed carrots, steamed broccoli, bits of partially raw partially cooked onions, and no seasoning.
