This has been my go to salon and I'm very happy to have found a nail salon in my area with reasonable price rates! Everyone here is very kind and accommodating. Their work is great and consistent. I get my dip nail powder manicure and gel pedicures here and it never disappoints! - If you are pretty particular about your dip powder build and like it smooth & a not too bubbly apex, they do a great job in shaping! - I also notice my manicures really do last for weeks and I haven't found issues in how they wear through time! read more

I just had my pedicure and she was rushing to do my toe nails. Don't really understand coz there's only a few customers. The service was bad. Just removed my old nail polish and reapply my color. . Didn't even remove any cuticle. The end product of my nail polish was bumpy not smooth and not clean looking toe nails. Very disappointed. read more

Their customer service is disrespectful. I would go there regularly and take my daughter. I get gel polish. The gel chipped after three days and they're refusing to fix it. They love to prematurely take your hand from under the light. When I try to keep it under there for the for 30 seconds, they would turn the light off and tell me "give me give me" to paint the nails before it's baked properly. Paying for my gel and tipping 20% is standard for me. I would go religiously every two weeks. I will never go there again or tell anyone to go there like I have before. Avoid this nail shop. They are ungrateful. read more

I had a set of Gel-X's on that started to chip away during my trip to Vegas. My boyfriend was golfing at Rhodes Ranch, so I stopped by the nearest nail salon for a refresh. Stars Nails was very clean and spacious. I was greeted by a kind gentleman who gave me a thorough manicure with gel polish, as well as a pedicure. Altogether it took close to two hours but he did a great job, and I got to pass time by watching the new JLo movie "Marry Me". Their color selection is vast!!! There is something for everyone and they carry different brands in case you have a preference. Quality work and great price! I just wish he took the time to remove the excess glue or gel (whatever it was) from my previous Gel-X. I would definitely come back here if I were in the area! I asked for a color with gel.. she told me she's gonna do this I couldn't understand a word she was saying so I kept saying ok sounds good.. I walked out spending 70 plus 10 dollar tip.. I went back two hours later begging for them to paint them what I wanted to begin with.. but they didn't have time even though nail techs were sitting there. they lost my business because I'm new and consodered them my new nail home.. but I have 2 teenage daughters and they lost that business as well.. this woman took a 45 dollar to 70 and then tipped to 80 I walked out very unhappy and they lost future business!! read more

I've gone to so many nail salons in vegas. I'm always switching but im for sure coming back to Star Nails. I always drove by, never paying attention to it till one day I decided to go in. I called at 2:45 pm to see if I can get a last minute pedicure appointment at 4pm that same day. They said yes. I showed up around 3:35 & they took me in right away. She started around 3:40. The workers were very friendly & took their time. (Also, she was done by 4:30) Quickly & amazing. I got a wonderful lady named Linda. She was amazing! She really took care of my feet and used every tool she had. My feet were soft as a baby afterwards. Then she painted my toes, and got a brush to perfect it and make sure there's no mistakes. Wanted to try this place out because of the reviews and was so close to my house. Appointment took almost 3 hours for a full set and pedicure. My technician was the youngest lady there. My French tip pedicure is not what I wanted, very thin white lines. Full set is horrible. I wanted longer and a better shape. I thought 3 hours would make it worth the wait.
