This has been my go to salon and I'm very happy to have found a nail salon in my area with reasonable price rates! Everyone here is very kind and accommodating. Their work is great and consistent. I get my dip nail powder manicure and gel pedicures here and it never disappoints! - If you are pretty particular about your dip powder build and like it smooth & a not too bubbly apex, they do a great job in shaping! - I also notice my manicures really do last for weeks and I haven't found issues in how they wear through time!

Nice local nail salons that I have come to regular in the recent months. They are close to home and they are reasonably priced. I like that they have free WiFi available for customers and always have a Netflix movie on. They also offer coupon specials that are sent out from time to time. read more

I just had my pedicure and she was rushing to do my toe nails. Don't really understand coz there's only a few customers. The service was bad. Just removed my old nail polish and reapply my color. . Didn't even remove any cuticle. The end product of my nail polish was bumpy not smooth and not clean looking toe nails. Very disappointed. read more

Their customer service is disrespectful. I would go there regularly and take my daughter. I get gel polish. The gel chipped after three days and they're refusing to fix it. They love to prematurely take your hand from under the light. When I try to keep it under there for the for 30 seconds, they would turn the light off and tell me "give me give me" to paint the nails before it's baked properly. Paying for my gel and tipping 20% is standard for me. I would go religiously every two weeks. I will never go there again or tell anyone to go there like I have before. Avoid this nail shop. They are ungrateful. read more

I had a set of Gel-X's on that started to chip away during my trip to Vegas. My boyfriend was golfing at Rhodes Ranch, so I stopped by the nearest nail salon for a refresh. Stars Nails was very clean and spacious. I was greeted by a kind gentleman who gave me a thorough manicure with gel polish, as well as a pedicure. Altogether it took close to two hours but he did a great job, and I got to pass time by watching the new JLo movie "Marry Me". Their color selection is vast!!! There is something for everyone and they carry different brands in case you have a preference. Quality work and great price! I just wish he took the time to remove the excess glue or gel (whatever it was) from my previous Gel-X. I would definitely come back here if I were in the area! Always happy to see me...all the technicians are super talented and very conscientious. They seem to be able to read minds. I asked for a color with gel.. she told me she's gonna do this I couldn't understand a word she was saying so I kept saying ok sounds good.. I walked out spending 70 plus 10 dollar tip.. I went back two hours later begging for them to paint them what I wanted to begin with.. but they didn't have time even though nail techs were sitting there. they lost my business because I'm new and consodered them my new nail home.. but I have 2 teenage daughters and they lost that business as well.. this woman took a 45 dollar to 70 and then tipped to 80 I walked out very unhappy and they lost future business!! read more

I have been coming to Star Nails for over 8 years. I go to Alice for mani, pedi and eyebrows. Their prices are fair, service is great and it is close to home. What more can you ask for? Plus it is really the only time I ever get to kick back and watch movies! :) I have gotten to know Alice well over the years and I would never go to anyone else! Highly recommend!! read more

I've gone to so many nail salons in vegas. I'm always switching but im for sure coming back to Star Nails. I always drove by, never paying attention to it till one day I decided to go in. I called at 2:45 pm to see if I can get a last minute pedicure appointment at 4pm that same day. They said yes. I showed up around 3:35 & they took me in right away. She started around 3:40. The workers were very friendly & took their time. (Also, she was done by 4:30) Quickly & amazing. I got a wonderful lady named Linda. She was amazing! She really took care of my feet and used every tool she had. My feet were soft as a baby afterwards. Then she painted my toes, and got a brush to perfect it and make sure there's no mistakes. I got a regular pedicure for $25. Super affordable! Thanks Star Nails. I'll be back soon! read more

Wanted to try this place out because of the reviews and was so close to my house. Appointment took almost 3 hours for a full set and pedicure. My technician was the youngest lady there. My French tip pedicure is not what I wanted, very thin white lines. Full set is horrible. I wanted longer and a better shape. I thought 3 hours would make it worth the wait. I still tipped $20 but will never be coming back here. read more

Peggy did my nails in a last minute appointment . I was happy they could get me in since I usually get off work later. My acrylic nails with gel and a cute flower design came out so cute. Took her time and I like when I asked for adjustments on my nails ( shape/color) she listened to me. I think my price was very reasonable for my service. I used to come here all the time but my recent experience has turned me off. I paid for a gel manicure and came out with a very sloppy set of nails. The paint was lumpy and uneven. My technician was also using gel paint from a bottle and a small container - not sure why. However, the mix of the two just didn't turn out well. The worst part is that she wasn't going to bother to fix any of it if I wouldn't have said anything. On top of that, she only attempted to fix two nails and they looked even more lumpy than before. I unfortunately don't have the time for them to do them over so I will be going somewhere else next time. read more

The nail tech even explained that my nails are curved and I needed a specific type of nail. Needless to say, she did an AMAZING job and they feel sturdy. I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure, and less than 24 hours later the gel on several of my toenails was already chipping and lifting. I called, and to their credit, they apologized and asked me to come back in for a correction. During the correction, I showed the technician which toes needed fixing. She only repaired the visibly chipped ones and left four other toes where the gel was already lifting. I also mentioned that the manicure and pedicure color was supposed to be a clear pink, but my toenails ended up a nude shade instead. That part was partially on me for not noticing until I got home. The staff was extremely friendly and kind, which I appreciated. However, having to return a second time and still not have the issue fully corrected on a $90 pedicure didn't sit right with me. I'm sure if I had pushed harder or demanded a full redo, it probably would have happened -- but I don't think customers should have to feel like a "Karen" just to have things made right. The manicure itself turned out great, but based on my experience, I'd personally avoid getting a pedicure here.

The atmosphere always feels calm, and the staff are welcoming and attentive without being pushy. Their plain gel nail starts at $40, which I think is very reasonable for the quality and service you get. My nails came out perfectly shaped, smooth, and glossy -- I've already gotten several compliments! If you're looking for a reliable nail salon in the area, I can't recommend this place enough. Just got my nails done and i am really unimpressed and disappointed i just sat there for 2 hours to have my nails look the way they do. For starters it looks like I've already had my nails for days because she didn't get them to the bottom so they look grown out already. I guess thats so i have to come get a fill sooner? Secondly I got my nails with the point which normally is never an issue and if you don't know how to do them that way you probably should let the person know before doing it. My nails are completely uneven the points go and every direction. Lastly let's top it off with a bad polishing job. The paint is uneven so it makes my nails look super Lumpy. There's a reason why this place is slow and you don't need an appointment to get in. I highly recommend going somewhere else read more

I do not recommend this place to anyone, because of many reasons. 1. Nail infection 2. Rude lady 3. High price & low quality 4. Irreverence, not respect I went there one time, I was not happy and I just waste my time and my money. Now I have to update my review after one month. This location made me lose my trust in the rest of other nails store. Choosing this location was not a good choose! The health and beauty of the nail is very important for a woman. Have a greater obsession at your choice, please. I am sorry for Alex, who has stressed me and she made me angry. No one will be responsible for your nails and feelings. read more

I have never reviewed anything but this place was so awful people deserve to be warned. I was quoted $45 and charged $70. My big toe is now infected. And to top it all off, they played some racist Jesus police film on the TV twice while I was there. If I wanted to pay close to $100 I would go to true professionals for a pedicure, not a filthy strip mall joint. I will NEVER return here. I suggest you don't either. Thieves. Alice got me in and out in record time, especially because they were closing soon. I got the basic pedicure and it was good. was it the best? No, but they were nice and my feet sure did look prettier than when I came in. I bet the next time I go in (less than 45 minutes before they close) it will be better. I am overall happy because I don't like to spend a whole lot of time getting pampered. I would recommend giving them a chance. read more

Great job, i had a few hours to kill so since my toes needed a little tender loving care and my regular manicurist is usually booked and unable to take a walk in I thought I would come in and get a pedi/. i waited 3 minutes and got called right away - Phoebe is a very passionate and dedicated manicurist my pedi is impeccable and my feet feel great! read more

I'm happy that I finally have a good nail spa! They have great customer service and are always able to get me in even if I walk in without an appointment. A clean location with very quiet manicurists. I'm not always in the mood to have a conversation. I was going place to place before, but now I will be sticking to Stars Nails forever. read more

I have been going to Mindy at Star Nails for at least a couple of years now for my acrylic nails and pedicures. She's the best! I have never once had to worry about my nails lifting or falling off. My hands and feet look perfect every time and the prices are very reasonable. read more
