I think it's safe to say I'm lucky I don't live in the area because I'd be here every morning. Most amazing drip coffee and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious. I've only been able to get the breakfast sandwich because they were waiting on a food delivery, which is understandable during this time! The staff are nice and I have just had a great drive thru experience every time! I'd totally recommend this place... food and drink are just delicious and SO cheap compared to everywhere else!! Every time my wife goes here she has a different drink. That sounds great, except she's ordering the same one. Super inconsistent. Wait times in line are ridiculous, and the baristas are all mostly incompetent (besides one blonde girl, who basically is the only reason we go back) wouldn't recommend, as their coffee isn't even tasty. I'm more of a drip and go guy, but place has really good caramel macchiato, way better than the overrated franchise from Seattle. A gem of a cafe in the middle of nowhere. Nice size, comfortable environment, good prices and free wi-fi. They serve sandwiches, hot dogs (Vegan hot dogs too), milk shakes, rootbeer floats, ice cream sundaes, pastries and of course coffee and tea. They have a book shelf with books to read. Funny enough, they have a drive-thru too. I thought that was interesting in this tiny town. The owner, Gloria is fabulously nice! Vegan and vegetarian friendly in Clearlake! Had lunch with my sister-in-law there last week while visiting family. So glad she suggested it! I had a delicious almond milk chai latte and cesar salad sans cheese. My sis had the portobello pannini. It looked really good! Ate a cinnamon roll with out looking back; dipped a chocolate dipped short bread into my quad americano (which was so good I almost cried). Ate an ancho-chile breakfast burrito with song on my tongue. Showed up to fuel for a day of thrifting after reading posi reviews. Saw things I loved spying on a public book shelf. GOOD COFFEE!! We could not fault this little cafe.... Excellent selection of coffees/ teas and breakfast muffins.... Panini's etc... My wife can't have Gluten or Lactose so she said the smoothies were fine for her, just let them know and they will tell you whats available... They don't have gluten free bread but they were more than happy to accommodate and use the bread we had with us to make up a ham and egg toasted sandwich In short,, a cute little place with friendly staff and aim to please.... Catfish is one of two decent, clean places in Clearlake.... My grandparents have lived here for 35 years... Since childhood, I've watched this town go from a simple retirement community, to a down right dump!!!! Catfish is a rare (local) trendy coffee house, also with pretty good food, judging only from what I can tell by looking at what others are eating. Expresso is good, It's adorably decorated, cozy corner with comfy chairs and coffee table, well kept and always clean. Menu has a fairly wide variety of food and coffee. With ailing grandparents, my visits have been more and more frequent as my family and I clean out their house, I'm grateful for the one spot overall others I can go to with comfort. Last but not least... ~Employee's~ The girl with black glasses can use a bit of an attitude adjustment. It kills her to be friendly. She is more often the reason for the missing fifth star. read more

Very good lattes and Cafe au Laits. Prompt friendly service. There was a great selection of muffins including pumpkin chocolate chip and almond cherry. Tried the later; it was moist and delicious. I love the coffee here! I've tried different coffee houses around the lake and this one is the best! I feel at home there! I can sit and relax and it feels like I'm in my own living room! I highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND this coffee house. Good service and the BEST COFFEE ON THE LAKE! Usually I just have their delicious coffee but one day I was hungry & ordered their Caspar Hot Dog, a real bargain for only $4.00. Great Quality not just an old Oscar Meyer & it had the works on it with a quality bun. As gourmet as a hot dog can get. I was broke & at a work meeting (with no lunch break that day), so this hit the spot! Servers are extra helpful & friendly, atmosphere is nice with some good tunes playing in the background. My grandma & I always come here when I come home from college, and I have never had the disrespect we had experienced today! Totally rude and unprofessional workers this afternoon around 130, got a bagel that they forgot to make and when I reminded them they literally threw it down on the counter saying "here", just so rude and I can't get over that experience. We both probably won't ever go back here again, and feel sorry for anyone else who had to deal with those three workers today. read more

It's nicer hat they have a drive thru, it's a traditional coffee house style drive thru tho not fast food style.
